Negative experience: This review refers to a different visit and a different issue. I recently visited the pool in Crewe with my children and unfortunately it was a very unpleasant experience. The water was extremely cold. My children were visibly shivering, and my son had blue lips and was shaking from the cold. After about 40 minutes in the water, he didn’t want to go back in at all because he was so cold. This was very concerning as a parent. A swimming pool, especially one used by children, should be kept at a safe and comfortable temperature. Sadly, we won’t be returning unless this issue is addressed

Fantastic experience: Great gym

Fantastic experience: clean and well-maintained, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is motivating without being intimidating. I highly recommend it to everyone and i have made some really good friends here and love meeting them here every week and we enjoy the classes together :)

Fantastic experience: My son, Nicholas took swimming lessons with Katherine at Level 2, and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. She was kind, patient, and always made him feel safe and motivated in the water. Thanks to her guidance, he learned how to swim and gained a lot of confidence. We truly appreciate all her effort and dedication!

Negative experience: The only reason I'm giving this place a 1 is because wile I was in the queue I seen this weird guy sat on his own with no one with him spitting on the floor and rubbing it in with his sandles wile recording on his phone.. very suspicious

Fantastic experience: Been a couple of times as I prefer this indoor pool to Nantwichs one. Nantwich is great but the staff are lovely on reception and by the pool

Positive experience: There is a well equipped gym and swimming pool. Various fitness classes are provided, some of which are aimed at seniors. The local library is in the same building as well as a cafe.

Fantastic experience: If you’re needing to park here you need to search for home bargains or Dunelm, then walk up the steps to the right of home bargains, there is a ramp to the back of home bargains.

Fantastic experience: Zumba only today, but Move it or Lose it tomorrow morning and Aerobics in the afternoon Lots of different classes to go to ,mornings, afternoons and evenings at the Leisure Centre plus there's the gym and swimming pool. Coffee shop has sandwiches and cakes and why not visit the Library while you're there. All in one bright and clean building with great staff in the leisure side, coffee shop or Library.

Positive experience: Great swimmimg place! But I do have some issues: - the membership price is very expensive, which makes it not really accsessible for many people. I suggestthat the price go down a bit. - some of the staff are EXTEMELY rude to me. I do not think they should be working there as servers. It is really rude at appauling. My daughter is really sensitive in terms of emotions and they are not helping!

Negative experience: There’s a blonde lady that works reception at Crewe lifestyle centre and let’s just say she is… larger than life. She would do well to remember that she works in a customer service role. Her job is to SERVE. Perhaps one day she might get to be a supervisor and she can boss the little people around, but for now she’d do well to remember her place. A customer service assistant. I will be cancelling my membership next month because I simply can’t stand to see her face any longer. P.S. your staff should get free gym access, because it’s not a good look having her as the face of health and lifestyle business

Positive experience: Blonde lady at reception was very rude this evening for the money I pay for swimming lessons they should be better trained I might go else where when she is on also saw her speak to another lady like she was trash when she said she was just going to help her daughter get changed she wasn't thrilled either get better staff it's not hard to be nice.

Negative experience: Don’t bother with the gym in evenings as it’s just full of teenagers who the place like a youth club and just hang around the machines and in the upstairs changing rooms making it impossible for other uses to use the equipment and don’t bother looking for a member of staff as there are never any around.and you do find one they don’t do anything if you say anything.

Positive experience: This is the perfect spot for all your fitness needs, as it offers a wide range of equipment and facilities, including a swimming pool. Additionally, there's a library and a coffee shop, making it an ideal place for a family outing. However, the main drawback is the parking situation. You need to park in the adjacent retail area, and the parking time is limited to only 2 hours.

Positive experience: Clean and friendly

Fantastic experience: Great swimming baths, kids have friendly teachers and the place is always clean. Still 2+ yes later

Positive experience: Good leisure centre with a pool, gym, various sports facilities, a cafe and a library. There is bofe paid and free parking nearby. And good public transport links.

Fantastic experience: Love my Aqua aerobics with the lovely Anna on a Monday and Wednesday morning, Wednesday evenings it's lovely Ann who also does Friday morning Aqua. I also go into the gym on the mornings I do Aqua, this is something I said I would never do but found I quite enjoy my work out, I feel better as well as happier. Would recommend anyone to come along, meet new people and make friends all while keeping your mind and body fit.

Negative experience: Swim times need to be reviewed. To constantly close half the pool for lessons and cram everybody else into a small section is only a matter on of time until somebody gets hurt. Paying £40+ a month for swimming and only times you can lane swim is early in the morning or late at night; not accessible for everybody

Fantastic experience: It's a marvelous to go and get fit doing such a lot of different activities,then finishing off with a nice refreshment before you go home

Positive experience: Swimming pool with all the lifeguards is very good, the classes we're also taking are with high standard, but what is really disappointing is the reception staff! Almost everyone is rude and God forbid to ask them anything! My son is waiting for a swimming lessons for a year and half and when I asked how long we will have to wait, the very rude receptionist bark at me to simply wait for a call. I understand there is a waiting list, but it's not a problem to check your computer and answer it like a human being.

Negative experience: Went to the gym today couldn't get on any machines full of rude people the big lady with blonde hair at the front desk was giving me attitude and accusing me of things I didn't even do don't even know why she's got the job if she can't speak to a nice human being with respect honestly think she should be fired I've been to pool a few times honestly it's a rlly nice pool nice and clean but the changing rooms are grubby and full of dirt and look like they are rarely cleaned floor is so dirty in the changing rooms it's actually disgusting A few of the staff are nice I personally think it's just that one lady I mentioned before who is rlly rude and doesn't know how to speak to people with respect.

Negative experience: This place has rude staff, not to mention its Website is completely off the mark. This morning Sat, 16th March 2024. Lane swim from 7-7.45...General Swim starts at 12. So is the pool closed for 4 hours. Why not elaborate. Really bad overpriced leisure centre

Negative experience: The male gym changing rooms are always full of 'kids' hanging out and they don't move when trying to get to the lockers. Regular checks should be carried out to move them out. Out of the two showers one has been out of order for 6 months and the one that is available the water just puddles where you stand as it does not drain away Update I felt the need to update my review after my locker (in the men's gym) was attempted to be broken into yesterday. This happened whilst I was in the shower less than 3m away and I was only in their for 4 mins max. I did receive a reply to my previous review and I can confirm that BOTH showers are now working but the issue with the teenagers still remains

Positive experience: Very clean very friendly helpful staff. All classes to suit all abilities. Anything saying gold is low impact and brilliant if have mobility or health issues.

I actually cant think of any bad things about this place lol, its got a cafe bit, seating to study or hang out and stuff, you can have swimming lessons here, schools have swimming lessons here sometimes! Theres a library, great for kids! Theres ryhme time for little kiddies its soo cute! My little bro goes there and hes soo adorable The pools are great! Lots of space, theres diving boards, lanes, kid pool, everything! Theres also a gym upstairs! and yoga place maybe Overall its great, looks very clean, modern and nice!

Fantastic experience: Lovely multi purpose venue really love the weekly walking Netball sessions, pool, library and cafe. Not used the new gym yet but have tried the fitness classes in the past.

Positive experience: I go to Aquafit classes on a Monday and Wednesday. The class is well attended and the instructor is really enthusiastic and encouraging. The class lasts for 45 minutes and is well worth a try. Very refreshing in the warm weather too.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service by Sue who helped us get my daughter into swimming lessons. My son also really enjoys learning swimming from Kim. Previous issue on buying certain activities at very specific times seemed to be down to an individual and this has been resolved with the manger.

Negative experience: Crewe Lifestyle Centre - Absolutely garbage staff. Refusing to cooperate and give full name to Confront issue. This is the second time they have made a big mistake which wasted my time by having poor communication with system management. The first time they stated I haven't paid however quickly apologised when I showed a bank statement and they gave me a extra free month in April. However, due to this today they Complained about not paying on April when they had given me that month for free and they even called me rude when confronting this issue, when I was calling my brother on the phone who oversaw all payments. One particular staff member refused to give me her name and cooperate she was blonde and particularly large. She even made me and my friends check our cards as if we're some shady individuals. After maybe 30 minutes the manager came out and sorted the issue which the particular staff member could not. I'm fuming and will not be using this gym again after this month. I forgot to mention this staff member who I do not know the name of. Laughed and giggled whilst giving me weird looks as I was walking outside calling my brother. I know this as a group of friends who were inside watched as she and a couple other members laughed behind my back. Therefore beware of the staff when joining this gym.

Negative experience: Gym is fine bit small and gets quite busy. The larger blonde woman on reception is really rude and has zero customer service skills. I have been using the gym for a while and didnt know I had to scan in as I saw other people just walk in. This woman then randomly proceeded to screech EXCUSE ME you need to scan in! The second time round I did scan in but she had a queue of people and again she screeched "ER EXCUSE ME you have to wait im not on the right screen" i am not going to stand in the queue to use the gym?! No one actually has showed me how to scan in or use the barriers or tell me that it was essential to do so. The woman on reception is one of the most rudest unpleasant person I have come across and has a serious attitude problem. The way she speaks to people is vile. Also full of groups of immature teenagers who use the gym as some kind of place to hang out. Often shouting, running around and messing around. They also hog the machines and stand right next to you if they want to use a machine no manners or gym etiquette at all. Due to the amount of teens the gym is busy and not a pleasant place to workout.

Fantastic experience: Great place all round, great gym and equipment, swimming pool is good quality and well looked after, staff are extremely helpful and friendly

Negative experience: Dark and dismal. No sauna or steam room. On 2nd visit, pool was full. Advised to get changed and wait in changing room until someone comes out. Is it really 2016 !!!!

Positive experience: Use every Fortnight for a Macmillan Outreach Event

Positive experience: Took grandchildren for swimming lessons. Changing rooms are opposite side of pool to observation area. Seem to be in and out a lot as lessons overlap. Not ideal with small children.

Positive experience: Lovely swim in a spotlessly clean pool. The showers and changing rooms were grubby at 11.00 a.m. Ladies at the coffee place could do with some manners. Barely able to stop their conversation to serve and very abrupt

Fantastic experience: I've always been reluctant to use the gym due to my lack of knowledge about how to work with most of the gym equipment, but thanks to this amazing couple full of dedication, motivation and consistency that runs the (train) session has made my experience at the gym enjoyable.

Positive experience: I would rate it higher if I didn't have children, Unfortunately I feel although there isn't enough for families. Only 4 family changing rooms. Locks don't work probably, when you have an anxious 2 year this makes it very difficult. The pool is good and clean and the staff are friendly, Highley recommended toddler splash

Fantastic experience: Love this gym the only down thing that i can find is the opening hours it will be absolutely amazing if closing time will be a little bit later and opening earlier but other than this everything is great... Little bit small but great!

Negative experience: I use the main swimming pool facilities on a regular basis and enjoy very much. During the school holidays is a concern where family's with children, adult swimmers and learners are all crammed at busy periods. Ideally an hour's slot chosen between 11am-1pm for adults would be good during school holidays and gives everyone a chance to enjoy the swimming facilities.

Positive experience: A clean, tidy and well maintained building with good free weights and machines. Instructors are friendly, always ready to chat a little. It's always a pleasure to find safe, secure locker spaces before exercising and to get a nice, warm shower afterwards. My previous gym struggled in this regard so this was partly why I left and tried Crewe Lifestyle on a day's trial. I haven't had any cause to regret this decision. I would like to thank the cleaning and reception staff for helping to reunite me with several items of lost property over the past twelve months! Keys, phone and jacket, all found there way back to me thanks you all concerned! Cost of a regular priced membership is rather high for those on low budgets and this could be difficult for people trying to make ends meet.

Positive experience: I joined your gym at Crewe just over a week ago and find myself very disappointed in the lack of equipment working. Firstly a very large percentage of your cardio equipment will not connect to the tv. I am guessing that your Wi-Fi may not support Netflix possibly as I cannot get this to work. I have managed to find two treadmills where the tv works, when I visited today the first one operated the tv but the treadmill itself did not work, on the second treadmill I found the earphone Jack was faulty and found myself constantly adjusting my earphones to try and get clear audio. Also when trying to select media channels I find that they are not programmed correctly for example when selecting itv it will bring up cbbeies on some machines. I have asked staff for help but nobody appears to know what to do. As a new member who needs help and encouragement to exercise I was drawn in to using your gym by having these facilities to help me on my journey, only to find myself totally disappointed in your equipment and sheer unawareness of the importance to rectify these issues. Can I please ask when all these issues will be resolved? I was told you had had some internet/software updates but this is now over a week ago. Sent from my iPhone

Fantastic experience: Great place to go and play badminton. Pool looks good, library ok, not seen the gym. Though nothing as good as our old swimming baths on flag Lane and our old library just off municiple buildings square. Lifestyle centre has plenty of seating, food and drinks machines, Cafe area and antibacterial hand gels/paper towels available for customer use. Swimsuits/trucks on a small stand by reception can be purchased. Out front sturdy not under cover bike racks and bike pump tyre stand also which is free to use and so helpful if a cyclist. Should bike get stolen the police station is just a glaringly obvious minute walk away as step out of lifestyle centre cafe side. The exit closest to ground floor toilets takes you out to face a wall, tesco ahead down steps to cross big car park with a big b&m or home bargains, dunelm mill, past there down just a few steps is traffic lights with button, press to crossover to other side of street to reach tesco if on foot. Otherwise if in car ask directions if wanting those places after/before visit to lifestyle centre.

Positive experience: I do enjoy going swimming & the gym but with swimming they let 10 people in each lane which hasn't been a problem yet I've only been in a lane with 7 and that was crowded enough I could barely swim! Most of the time it's ok though I dread to think what it would be like with 10 though. The gym is pretty good, you have to clean the equipment after use and most people stick to the rules but I have seen the odd one not. Hand sanitiser is available everywhere though so I'm constantly using it before and after I use something.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with the full range of equipment. Membership comes with access to the pool and lots of classes. Changing rooms and showers are provided with lockers aswell.

Negative experience: On numerous occasions have tryed calling to get info on swimming, was fifth in the queue then fourth and so on, u til getting to the front of the queue and still sat listening to music for 25minutes... if there is no one there to talk to why let customers wait??

Positive experience: Would be a 5 but I don't think the changing rooms are suitable to be honest.. I mean being a bloke it's not appropriate to walk from the showers to get dressed etc.
