Fantastic experience: Great track for athletics training / hyrox etc. very reasonable for PAYG at £5 per time. Multiple places to park (Ringo - paid) - about 60p an hour. Great facility.

Positive experience: I love the football field here, but an indoor football field needs to be built because most people can't play football because of the rain. If you do this, I'm sure you'll have more customers than before. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Attended a few days ago, both guys on reception were friendly and well informed when I had questions about the gym/ classes. Gym was clean with a good choice of equipment. Will be joining soon.

Positive experience: Very tidy stadium, well maintained and a great view of the pitch from the grandstand. A little short on catering facilities perhaps but a good place to watch Rugby League in London.

Negative experience: Very rude man on the phone was unwilling to help with a minor issue…

Negative experience: The gym facility used to be perfect, after the change the gym equipments is for elderly people, if your under 40 don’t use this gym waste of money.

Positive experience: Big sports centre with 3G football pitch within a running track. Big stand with good views. Cafe is a walk away behind one goal. Few spectators so no atmosphere. Football team needs more support if they are to survive

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Tottenham community football for running a great friendly walking football tournament. The organisers and refs done a good job. The pitches are good a lot of older footballers today had good fun and without realising achieved some seriously beneficial exercise.

Fantastic experience: Many of us spend much of our time alongside other activities at the gym. So you want it to be a place that is welcoming, friendly, community focused and non-intimidating. I've been a member at New River Sport for a few days and the lovely staff, the very clean environment, the top notch machines, the exercise timetable, I am already hooked. I love working out, so I was searching for a place that felt like a 2nd home, that feels like a community, where I can fall head over heels and build my physical plus mental strength. The welcome and warmth I have received so far, has been amazing, I feel welcomed, I am excited to be part of New River Sport, to develop my strength, my fitness and my confidence. Thank you to the staff (sorry I did not get your names) that made me feel that welcomed, that I have become hooked. I look forward to seeing the development in my physical and mental fitness with New River Sport.

Fantastic experience: Tottenham Green Fusion exile here. Came today as mine is STILL closed. Clean, great equipment and brilliant staff. If New River was closer and had a pool, I'd defect. Wish I'd got the names of the two guys today - they were both v well informed, warm & friendly, making me feel very welcome.

Fantastic experience: Great place for building your new self. All staff are really nice and supportive. I recommend the sport centre if you fancy any sorts of sport activities and calm environment.

Negative experience: Tiny gym, even worse management. My online account didn’t work the entire time I was there and I got passed around the people working there the entire 2 months with 0 resolution.

Positive experience: It’s a great place to just have fun with sports or burn some calories. Great with friends. Highly recommend. It’s a great area with places such as football pitches and various gyms or yoga classes. There are two large Astro pitches, a grass pitch, and many 5/7 a side Astro pitches (some with nets, some with none). Also, there is an indoor tennis area and also an outdoor tennis are. I recommend to them to add more sports variations such as basketball, volleyball ext. Check website for more details.

Fantastic experience: Have been a loyal member of New River Sports Centre for more than a decade. It boasts a range of 1st class sporting facilities including football, rugby, indoor and outdoor tennis. Great gym facilities also. It’s greatest asset being the wonderful staff, always friendly and helpful. Customer Service par excellence. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Please can staff clean the toilets regularly! They absolutely stink and this is made worse by the fact that the same area is where the showers are located. I'd love to have a shower when I use the gym but anyone using this facility can smell the toilets from the reception area. How can one feel clean in such an environment! No security at the desk either and this is quite alarming as young children often use and frequent this sports facility. On arrival, I've walked straight past an empty desk on several occasions (including this evening) and there's been absolutely no one there to check. This poses many security risks, but is particularly alarming in terms of children and female members of this facility. Any response from management on these issues? More importantly, are you going to immediately address them?

Positive experience: Good facilities. We only use the external pitch courts and they are kept in good shape. Further to the North there are boxed pitches, which prevents from balls baking passed from one to another fields. There is also an external tennis court and heated internal tennis courts. The race track is kept clean and seems to be used during the day. Toilet provisions are arranged in a weird way. Sometimes there are women changing facilities locked, forcing you to use ones in the main building. The main building holds more activities, ranging from gym to pre-booked classes. You can find something for yourself.

Negative experience: I take it the staff here do not like talking to customers on the phone letting ring out for ages but when you go there they do not appear to be doing much ... chose to spend my money with a company where the staff are more welcoming

Negative experience: What a nightmare the staff of this place. Totally unprofessional. Started a trial for a week and informed them a month in advance that i dont want toi continue but yet they charged me for the following month. Sent 16 emails and 18 phone calls and assured me that its taken care of, but still got charged. Poor facilities, smelly toilets, staff are lazy, gym is horrible, so avoid if you dont want a nightmare.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE Place! Avoid I am amazed how this place is in operation, they need to be shut down. Lazy and unhelpful staff, old facilities, smelly toilets, tennis courts are super old, gym is like 20 years outdated machines, and when i want to cancel my membership they just ignore me.

Negative experience: Juventus tournament was an unprofessional set up. Lack of organisation with many upset parents and young players. Over 100 teams to to accommodate. Money making setup, won't want to experience again.

Negative experience: I honestly wish I could give them 0 stars! They refuse to issue me a refund after I cancelled a month in advance and they over charged me! Complete scams they even acknowledged I cancelled but won’t issue a refund without an email. Do not join this gym!!!!!

Positive experience: Multi purpose sports facility for the local community. And also hosts non league football matches. The stadium is a bit rough around the edges, especially the dugouts need replacing. But the pitch itself looks great.

Negative experience: Turned up yesterday to referee match on main AstroTurf only to find that the previous cup match had drawn with extra time & pens if necessary to follow.As the home club had only booked the pitch for 2 hours,my match took place an hour after the scheduled kick off,with all subsequent booking that followed also running an hour.Staff did not appear to have any control of the situation & allowed the teams to stay on & play the extra time then penalties.

Positive experience: Well run, clean and great facilities. There are always discounts and deals available if you speak to the staff and services are affordable with promotions (otherwise standard pricing for London). Staff are also very friendly and professional, always wiling to help. You can't ask for any more. Parking is quite limited and the surrounding area is residential.

Negative experience: Saw them hosting a Turkish league football match on Sunday where the players and fans brutally attacked a referee - clearly not a safe place to frequent if that's their clientele.

Fantastic experience: I've used the court since 5 months ago and I am quite happy with it.

Positive experience: Gym is very small but there are plenty football options around.

Fantastic experience: Super big venue in North London. 2 x 11 a side pitches and 10 x 5 a side! Footy Addicts organising games there almost every day so people can play football whenever suits them.

Negative experience: The gym itself isn't too bad, but there are numerous issues with management, staff, and communication which should make people think twice before joining. I had five induction sessions planned where the personal trainer didn't show up, a further induction which was cancelled (though this time they did let me know), class changes were rarely communicated, and the staff seem poorly trained at both running their systems and in customer management. While I don't want to speculate whether it is by manipulation or incompetence, as noted in the other comments it is near impossible to cancel membership at this facility. I am now taking my complaint about cancelling membership to head office, but it seems from reading other comments that this is not unique to my experience.

Negative experience: A club riddled with issues. I had booked a tennis training session which was endorsed by the LTA. Despite making several calls in advance to make sure that the session was taking place, when I showed up they said they did not have a court available. Their management is utterly ridiculous. The manager apologised and said he would have got in touch. That never happened. Clearly nobody cares in this place. The outdoor tennis courts are in poor conditions and definitely not worth paying for. If you are looking for an indoor tennis, possible alternatives in the proximity are `Chandos tennis club`, `Islington Tennis Center` and `Lee Valley tennis center`.

Negative experience: Cancelled my membership back in February it's now July and my membership is still running. Despite speaking to several members of staff including the manager herself who assured she would sort it.. She still hasn't sent an email to confirm they will stop taking money. Very annoying as I've not used the gym since Jan!! Beware when canceling your membership

Negative experience: Hard to book for big events, cut off or not called back. Lack of new athletics equipment and double booked tennis courts that I had booked for kids tournament. Only found out when I got there and someone was on the courts!

Negative experience: Made to stand outside in the cold, as now parents can't stay in side the inside court, cafe they have is closed. Not good at all,
