Everlast Gyms - Carlisle

Negative experience: This place has gone down hill massively, we pay all this money to have broken equipment and the stream room has worked in months, the pools cold half the time aswell.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym new people are doing a first class job. There is lots of apparatus to choose from . Very spacious and friendly. Also classes for members. Very large car park. A large shop above

Negative experience: It's been 9 months dince I put this review on and I have never received my £90 back. If I go take away the 1 ⭐️ away I would. Everlast Gym Carlisle, looks fantastic doesn't it. It should do because it takes double payments from members account and then fails to pay them back. I joined gym and was very happy and then over time the sauna continually smelt and were slimey. The two jacuzzi were bubbling with dirty foam and the ceiling covering in the swimming pool was ripped and looked unsightly. So I cancelled my membership. September a friend of mine, who had also cancelled informed me that improvements had been made and I decided to return and joined again. Big mistake, duplicated my account and then proceeded to take two lots of double payments and an app that does not work and prevents me from entering or booking any classes. I have only been refunded one payment of £30.00. I have visited 3 times and sent several emails, but too no avail. With lots of people looking to join a gym in January, just want to make people aware. The staff are pleasant and manager charming, but does absolutely nothing to resolve the situation of your account being fleeced. Continually blames their head office and administration. Just want to ask if I am the only one having problems with this or is it happening to other members.

Fantastic experience: Swimming pool is lovely and warm, clean and comfortable, not too busy. Showers and changing rooms absolutely spot on.

Fantastic experience: Ever since I made my last review, the gym equipment is now always in use, the pool and sauna are clean, well kept and a good temperature and the workers are still as nice as ever.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym - great classes, gym equipment all that I could ask for, nice pool. Staff are all very friendly & helpful. Stand-out member of staff is Janita. Busiest, smiliest person I've ever encountered - she is positive vibes to the max, always warm & encouraging, and she is a stickler for cleaning everywhere thoroughly which is a priority other gyms seem to forget.

Fantastic experience: Claire is top receptionist, Kirsty is the best night cleaner, Channy is 2nd best cleaner, Jack's hiit sessions kill you in a good way.

Fantastic experience: Gio’s Zumba Class - A Must-Experience! If you’re looking for a class that lifts your spirits and gets you moving, Gio’s Zumba class on Wednesdays is the place to be! Gio has this incredible energy that radiates happiness, making everyone in the room feel welcome and comfortable. His main goal is for you to have fun, so there’s no pressure if you can’t follow every step – it’s all about enjoying yourself and letting loose. After the Zumba session, Gio treats us to some hip-hop steps, turning the room into a full-on dance party. It’s such a vibrant and exciting experience that leaves you feeling amazing. Honestly, being in Gio’s class is not just about fitness; it’s about pure joy and positive vibes. I can’t recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: I was an original Member since 2010 until the closure of DW. I've just recently rejoined after looking at Gym options in the city i found this to be the best option due to facilities and equipment and convenient parking. The staff are very friendly and there is plenty of choice when looking at classes. The Everlast Cycle classes by Gary are excellent and take some beating. I really do think this Gym takes some beating for overall experience.

Fantastic experience: Everlast Gyms Carlisle - the best value for money gym in Carlisle. The staff are always friendly, nothing is too much trouble and you can tell they prioritise member experience. The gym is always clean and tidy and the equipment is easily accessible. There is a very good variety of classes to take part in which are easily booked through the app. There is also a good selection of PTs with a wide variety of knowledge to suit people from all walks of life. I have been to several different gyms in Carlisle and Everlast is by far the best value for money, it is fairly priced for the facilities available and there is something for everyone!

Positive experience: I have to change my opinion! I still think the water in the pool could be cleaner but the staff is just great! They are very helpful! I love swimming but never used a gym. They are helping me a lot always with a smile! Thank you!

Positive experience: Looks like a good gym but it's not open 24/7 like the gym opposite, has a sports direct shop above the gym which is where I was getting the boy some footy boots.

Negative experience: Facilities ok ….no vibe or atmosphere here there’s a staff member with an American accent who is painfully smug and arrogant and has a sneering judgemental air to him I can only imagine he has a name like Sebastian or Ricardo and is a brown belt in karate taking every opportunity to tell everyone his black belt is due soon….. that sort of guy… He needs to improve his customer service skills and his attitude

Positive experience: Can only go in peak hours but the selection of classes is poor. Gym equipment and pool area are looking tired plus bottom of pool is grubby.
