Fantastic experience: Great swimming pool facilities, with lovely warm pool. There's also a cosy cafe inside the hotel reception serving Starbucks drinks.

Fantastic experience: It’s a lovely little club, nice pool, great sauna and a gym that has everything I need. A big shoutout to Alok - he showed us around and helped us sign up. He’s been so informative and makes our experience really enjoyable every time we visit. He’s a great member of the team!

Fantastic experience: Simply superb. We've not been as happy at a gym / pool in a long time. Staff: Everybody is amazing. Rueben, Leanne, Alok and everybody are friendly, professional and always eager to help. So far all have been great. Gym: Small but does what it says on the tin. Usually quiet, good for beginners or people eschewing more busier places. I was getting fed up of busier gyms swarmed - this is not that. And it's better for it. Pool: The best in the area, for me. The water is a perfect temperature, warm without being uncomfortably hot and not cold like other pools in the area are. My doctor recommended them for their pool, I'm glad they did. I is a smaller pool but we've never found it over busy. Sauna: Superbly maintained, clean and modern. Gender separated, one per change room. Changing rooms: the men's is really well cleaned and maintained and even since I joined is clearly being worked on. The communal shower has shower gel dispensers and the changing area is spotless. It's very well maintained. Surely it's not perfect? Well, if I have to struggle to find something, I've begged them to stay open past 9 I prefer to start swim or gym at 8:15 but it is what it is - a minor niggle. And a niggle is what it is as everything else about it is great and I haven't even discussed benefits! The best gym / pool for us that as a middle aged couple who want to stay healthy, swim and relax can find. The other clients are friendly and I've had a few non-intrusive convo's with random people in the sauna. If you're fed up with mucky grimy gyms / cold pools where they're too busy, noisy, where the other users are rude, and the staff don't care, try these guys as it's somewhere where you feel the staff DO care and want to do the best for their members. Love the place, feel lucky to have found it.

Fantastic experience: I've recently joined the spirit health club and I'm really enjoying it. It has a lovely pool and sauna and a small gym which is just perfect for me. The staff are all friendly and professional. Special thanks to Alok and Reuben who sorted out my initial look around and membership. I highly recommend joining!

Fantastic experience: I love this Gym, really missed it during lock down, it’s so friendly the staff are so lovely. You don’t feel intimidated by lots of super fit people it’s a nice friendly relaxed place to keep fit and look after your health. Love the swimming pool and sauna aswell always leave feeling energised and refreshed. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: I cant recommend Spirit Health Club highly enough. Everyone is very warm and welcoming and makes you feel at home there. There is plenty of equipment for a total workout and the pool is a decent size too. Some parts have been recently refurbished, including the sauna's which are lovely.

Fantastic experience: The staff are really friendly. The pool is always lovely and warm and the changing rooms are always clean. The gym isn't terribly big but adequate. Nice to have a coffee after in the bar area where the staff are equally friendly.

Negative experience: It's a shame what can change in 24 hours this morning I went for breakfast and waited for 10 minutes but was then turned away by a woman saying the reastraunt was full although there were plenty of seating I went back later and after 5 minutes I was shown to a table by a man where I waited 10 minutes before anyone came over the woman from earlier came over and ask for my room number and when I told her she said i had to fill in a form at reception then she spoke to the manager he then stated that a new form had to be filled out daily at reception so I was confused as reception told me once you filled out the first form that it is put on computer and kept for the duration of your stay and i said I would speak to reception the woman at reception said when a form is filled out it is put on computer as the restraunt manager came to the reception desk as I started to explain what he had said he walked away knowing he had tried to miss lead me by that time I was fed up trying to get breakfast as it seemed so much hassel as people were not working to the same guidelines and as a result of the Confusion and miss infomation i did not have breakfast not even a cup of tea the service today was discussting and appalling to say the least as there was clearly a communication problem between the reception and the reastraunt making the customer feel worthless and not respected this was a different team from yesterday they need to have a meeting and sort it out I only stayed at this hotel through work and I would say I would not book into here if I was traveling through or visiting the area otherwise
