Fantastic experience: I took my son to Goldstar Active today for the first time for their holiday club. I’ve never left him anywhere before as he has special needs and requires 1:1 support so its very hard to find places that he can enjoy andbe included in , but they arranged a fantastic one-to-one for him and made him feel so welcome. He absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave! I’m so grateful! I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: We couldn’t be happier with Gold Star Gymnastics! Since my daughter started attending, we’ve seen such a boost in her confidence, strength, and coordination. The coaches are incredibly supportive and truly care about each child’s progress. They create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where kids can thrive and enjoy learning new skills. My daughter always looks forward to her classes and leaves with the biggest smile. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a great gymnastics program!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has attended goldstar for almost 2 years and all I can say is wow what a team, they have brought my daughter on so much she was 6 weeks post op when she first started so they was and still are very understanding and cooperative with her extra needs they give her extra support if they see her struggling and they always go above and beyond for her. I will always recommend goldstar to anyone who is looking for a gymnastics for their child/children. My son started this year in February and he has come on leaps and bounds and he is always willing to try out new things without hesitation. Both my children look forward to going every week and any issues iv raised they have been dealt with fast and effectively they always listen to feedback and take on board any concerns that are thrown their way to make it a better environment for not just the children but the parents to. I give goldstar a 5* rating and will continue to bring my children weekly.

Fantastic experience: My daughter recently started and absolutely loves it. The coaches are very supportive of the children and their progression and she had enjoyed learning new things each week. Very friendly environment

Negative experience: Non inclusive organisation that simple cancels membership when they are in the wrong and have no ability to deal with a situation, they also make sure they block you and family from their social media account,they think you cannot call then out, is their modus operandi. Below is the removed post from Facebook. This organisation blatantly discriminates against children with disabilities and treats parents with utter contempt. The way staff handle situations is beyond appalling. They terminated our membership without any communication at all and followed it up with a threatening email. They are quick to take your money, refuse refunds, and show no accountability! Legal action is now being taken by multiple agencies for breaches of safeguarding and various laws, exposing just how horrific their practices are. It is painfully clear they have no understanding of additional needs or children's behaviors. What they have done to my family and countless others is disgraceful, grossly ableist, and deeply harmful. Canceling my child's membership without a second thought about how it would affect them is not only cruel, but shows a complete lack of humanity and professionalism. You should be utterly ashamed of yourselves! My child has done absolutely nothing wrong, and you were fully aware of there needs. As someone who works in the SEND sector, I am shocked and disgusted that this level of discrimination and exclusion is still happening in today's world. No behavioral steps were taken, no concerns were raised, and no communication was ever made with us. This is not just a failure-this is a deliberate and shameful act of exclusion. You have shown a complete disregard for inclusion, equality, and the well-being of children with additional needs. Your safeguarding is shocking - you don't even know who is in the building! Your actions are nothing short of disgraceful, and you have no excuse for this behavior!

Hi Angelo, we have since spoken directly to you about your issue and realise there was a misunderstanding on your part as to why we had to make the decision regarding membership, which should have been avoided. We have asked you to come in to speak to us rather than posting reviews like this on public forums.

The Goldstar Community is made up of a number of businesses, all of which provide warm, friendly, safe environments for members, which are predominately children, their parents and our employees.

The whole group is stringently governed by official organisations, that ensure we operate and comply with comprehensive policies on important issues including equality, safeguarding and codes of conduct.

All our policies are visible on our website as required.

Because of this positive environment we have worked tirelessly to maintain, we are very fortunate in that the vast majority of our parents fully understand, respect and comply with these policies.

On extremely rare occasions our highly commended team are subjected to discriminatory and abusive language and behaviour, which unfortunately results in us having no other option but to exercise our right to terminate connected memberships.

We do not make these decisions lightly and it is always with justifiable reason to safeguard the wellbeing of our team and other members and to protect them from harm.

We strongly feel that no one should be fearful for attending their place of work and the safety of everyone in the gym is of paramount importance, and any behaviour of this manner will not be tolerated.

We simply cannot, and do not discriminate against any individual, and it saddens us when false accusations are made due to lack of knowledge regarding the circumstances involved.

We always respect the privacy of our members, and prefer to discuss individual matters in person to ensure there is a fair conclusion, without resorting to defamatory comments online in social forums, which serves no one, including any parties that feel aggrieved without having all of the facts presented to them.

Therefore, again, we invite anyone to please contact us directly to discuss any concerns they may have.

The Goldstar Community has had the welfare of children at the heart of its business, for over 15 years, and with continued support, there will be many more to come.

Negative experience: Went today for a class after a year not going. Receptionist was extremely rude, said need to re registered which it was fine but told me abruptly to stay on the side and she attended 12 people before attending me. I arrived in time to the class and thanks to her attitude the class was already started, they did the introduction and the circuit explanation while she kept us waiting. I said few times we were missing the class but she did not care. Why she decided to attend first 12 people before me it is just beyond words, her explanation is registration takes time, well I was in time. Overcrowded class, 30 kids with their 30 respective dads or mums and a new circuit which was 4 times smaller than used to be. Babies could barely walk mixed up to 4 years old, that was crazy! How a non walker or barely walking can be in the same class to do a circuit as a 4 year old. Classes should be split according to age more appropriately. Number should be limited per class and receptionist needs training in politeness and customer care asap. Never again!

Fantastic experience: 5 stars!! Brilliant gymnastics centre! Enjoyed very good coffees and selections of snacks and lunches. I loved seeing new fresh faces in the grind. New futuristic staff: Emilia, Francesca. Very impressed with coaches but particularly Laura and Caroline. Amazing coaches, who taught my daughter (in one hour) more than 3 years of classes at other clubs. Definitely coming back. Thank you Goldstar Team❤️❤️❤️
