Fantastic experience: Brilliant Gym. I've been going for years before they stopped the women sessions. I loved the fact that they had seperate sessions for women. Full privacy and facilities were available. Can't fault it. I just hope they open women sessions again. Please consider it Speedball

Positive experience: Great indoor gym. Mainly for indoor football. They have 3 indoor football pitch and a section for cardio and weights. The cardio and weight equipment could do with an upgrade. Sauna and steam room included and a decent shower room.

Positive experience: Theres alot of loose rubber bits from the football pitches. They get the inside your trainers and become annoying during your match.

Negative experience: I joined for 3 months Due to health issues I needed Steamroom and sauna but It was cold in both Even the showers were cold

Negative experience: A fraud gym selling itself under the guise of equality and inclusivity. The gym itself is good, a range of equipment both cardio and weights but the concept of separate slots for gender at this gym is outdated and a misogynistic tool to try and pacify female gym goers. If this gym really cared about supporting women it would take into account their opinions. Women only times are non peak hours before 5pm but still pay the same as men. All gym’s which offer off peak hours charge significantly less. The idea that women don’t work or study is very much prevalent in the approach in which this gym has decided to market itself. You can immediately understand this gym is run my men who only prioritise the needs of their gender, refusing to listen to rational and fair arguments for women to be treated as paying customers for a service. Not just an afterthought for a flimsy marketing strategy of ‘women only sessions’. I am a huge advocate of safe spaces for women and women only gyms. However speedball is like other patriarchal businesses, somewhere you shouldn’t bother wasting your money. Other gyms may not provide women’s only entire gyms but they provide access to all the spaces for women at all times. Women cannot use the weights sections on weekends as men have complained it is distracting when they play football. I would like to know what is so distracting about women working out in a gym environment where people are expected to work out? The fact men have an inability to focus on a game of football they have paid to play with people of their own choice is a discredit to their ability to concentrate on the task at hand. For a local business to be taking money from a minority group ,setting conditions prioritising males is shameful. It’s an absolute disgrace women are charged £20 a month to have limited services with decision making in the hands of men who get to enjoy all the perks of the gym and pay the same amount. This gym does not empower women, the regulations applied reek of ignorance and uneducated male dominance. Women have fought for years to be given the same opportunities as men yet this gym sets back inequality in a matter of seconds with their vapid decision making.

Negative experience: Truly a gym from the dark ages, most of the equipments are broken, if you watch their videos from 2014 they still have the same equipments in the same places. Their stairmill is very dangerous, doesnt stop even if you press stop. The only good thing is the 3 monthly payments, apart from that it all quite mediocre. Toilet's often dirty, sauna and steam don't work properly. They dont even have the card scanner, you have to leave your gym card at the counter, and every gym I've been to have a scanner. Truly from middle ages this gym. Many eliptical machines have missing handles, some machine just don't turn on. Rowing machine is broken. The heavy weight room is in tatters, the ropes are old and broken. You guys need to seriously upgrade the machines. UPDATE: Cant believe you guys would lie through your teeth like that, very shady. I have reported these machines numerous times and they keep saying they have reported it and it will be fixed. It's alright, I'll post some pics in a couple days so everyone can see your lies. There is only 1 rowing machine, and the screen on it does not turn on, or if it does it keeps turning off. Same with a couple of eliptical machines. I've only joined the gym a couple days ago and only been on a couple times but already regretting. Be warned everyone, come for a 1 day pass and check for yourself.

Positive experience: Nice little place for a 5 a side kick about. If you don't fancy that then the gym is nicely set up to look henxh or just stay fit.

Negative experience: I called and spoke to Speedball and they booked us in for one of their five aside pitches. This would have been a good time for them to explain costs and also that payment would need to be cash or bank transfer. We arrived and were told that the pitch hire was £55, this sounded like a wind up and there was no offer of a discount for just two people either, or any reduction for the 45 minutes we had the pitch for. There are places in Bradford that charge significantly less, and we would have gone there had it not been for the fact they were closed on boxing day. My suggestion would be to avoid Speedball and look at other venues which provide better customer service and who are up front about costs.

Fantastic experience: Playing football and meeting with colleagues and others. It usually is an hour of intense running ‍♀️ around with football ⚽️. Always looking forward to it.

Fantastic experience: The team at Speedball are very accommodating and provided us an exceptional service. The pitches are extremely well mainrained with adequate lighting. Few of our team players travel once a week from Oldham to play!! Thanks to Bash, for allowing us a time frame if we ever turn up slightly late. We will always play at speedball after trying a few places. Highly recoomended to everyone - 5 stars all around.

Positive experience: The people running it are really nice people, they treat you well. The place is busy and for me a good place to play in. The only reason I don't give five stars is that the netting needs to be fixed at the side of the goals so that the ball doesn't squeeze in at the side. Also need to use fish eye lens on the cameras to cover the full pitch like frame 2 do.

Positive experience: Speedball has always been average. From the quality of the pitches to the service they provide. This has been the case for many years and there hasn't been any changes or anything to suggest things will get better. The pitches are heavily filled with those small black beads which can cause slips if you do t have the right footwear.

Fantastic experience: The gym is calm and well equipped with a wide variety of machines for strength and cardio exercises. You can get benefit of the sauna and steam bath. There are three football courts as well with hourly reservation. The gym is for ladies only morning till 4pm and from 4pm till 12am for men only.

One thing that I've realised over the summer though is that they need proper air conditioning as it's been very hot in the building recently but other than that, I've been happy with the service. Usually paying less than a fiver per player in a 5 aside game but depending on the time of day, it can also be £3 so pretty cheap too.

Fantastic experience: A member of the gym since 2011, can't ask for anything else under one roof. The price and location is great for me because I only live close by, the hours are great and staff and people who use speedball gym are very friendly and welcoming.
