Negative experience: [UPDATE 2]: Unfortunately, over 2024 and into 2025, the gym has slipped back into their old ways. Not opening on time, sometimes not even opening at all when stated (example Christmas opening times that were put up on posters!). At one point, they were supposed to be contacting me about this, but they never did. I've heard from at least 4 other members how frustrated we all are. Also, the gym floor is vile and generally it's pretty unloved in there. Anyway, luckily for me, PureGym is opening this month, so I'm off there. To be clear, I'm purely reviewing the gym and its management, not the classes, football club, kids clubs, etc. [UPDATE]: Over the past 4 months, the gym has been much better! Opening on time (or earlier) — which is great. Thanks for sorting :) Original review: Unfortunately, I need to leave a bad review about Stamford Fitness. We've now experienced four times where the building hasn't been open in the morning when the opening times state they are open — which is very frustrating. Completely unacceptable considering we pay a subscription for the gym to be open. Also, we've lost at least three days this year to the gym being flooded following heavy rain. Not sure if this is something that can be sorted out, but again — frustrating. Especially considering... Updates about the gym are NEVER sent via email. I just don't understand not communicating gym closures with your customers. I shouldn't be expected to read a Facebook page (which isn't even always up-to-date anyway). Please sort this out, it's just basic business communications. The facilities are decent. Generally, I like the gym. Could do with a decent deep clean more often though. Under the machines is pretty disgusting.

Fantastic experience: Such a great gym to sign up to if you are a beginner or even an active gym goer. Everyone is so welcoming and there to support when needed. The classes are great and so much to choose from. Ellie & Amelia’s classes especially are great, would be good to see more classes in the future! ☺️

Fantastic experience: Ellie is extremely professional, attentive, organised and her classes are fab. She runs the classes with great warm ups and structure with an excellent cool down at the end. Ellie vocalising all instructions professionally and more 6.15pm slots would be great

Fantastic experience: A great facility with a good range of sports and classes. It is well run by Adam, a ll the staff and instructors are really helpful, especially Ellie who will always go out of her way to assist. Would strongly recommend!

Fantastic experience: It is the home of my favourite football team Stamford fc, the Mighty Daniels. So you must allow for my enthusiasm when I say it is the finest place on Earth. When I lived in Sheffield, Bramall Lane, home of the Famous Blades, was the centre of the Universe. Now it's moved to Stamford fc's Ryhall Road.

Positive experience: Not a bad Stadium for non league football, burger bar had a fair bit of selection. Atmosphere was pretty good

Fantastic experience: Large carpark so plenty of parking. We'll organised parking spaces with wide Isles down the middle. Always clean and tidy on every visit.

Fantastic experience: This is a great facility that is shared with the Zeeco Stadium where I was visiting Stamford AFC for non league football.

Positive experience: Had a children's party there today. The facilities are really good and all the staff and stewards for the football were great! The children had an amazing time and they couldn't do enough for us. Thanks to everyone there!.

Fantastic experience: Never ever regretted using Borderville. Sports hall, gym and astroturf pitches are all maintained to a high standard and the staff are very friendly.

Fantastic experience: Lovely new building with great facilities. I attend a spin class on a Monday and it is brilliant. Baz, the instructor is a nice guy that doesn't intimidate. My children also attend the Skate School on a Sunday eve. Friendly, happy and caring staff.
