Fantastic experience: My absolute favorite Pilates studio and variation. I visit it each time I’m in London!

Fantastic experience: Since going to 1 Rebel, I have always had a very good experience at Bayswater particularly. The front of house staff are really friendly and the classes are inclusive with excellent trainers. Hannah the manager is exceptional in ensuring an excellent member experience

Fantastic experience: Since joining 1Rebel I've always had such a positive experience at Bayswater. The front of house staff are attentive and really welcoming, the classes are inclusive and a good workout and the facilities are a high standard and always clean. I'd say the Reformer is more of a stamina/strength mix to music than a traditional Pilates class, but for me I've found this to be a great way to be introduced to Reformer without it feeling intimidating. The instructors are all fantastic too - shoutout to Rosie, Libby and Camila whose classes I've particularly enjoyed recently!

Negative experience: This is a shame that I feel I now need to give this place no stars. I was really enjoying the classes. The instructors are great and can’t fault the upbeat classes. However, I called up to push a class back to the next day as I was feeling unwell. Instead of pushing back the class which they made it sound like they did over the phone they canceled the class and booked me onto a new one so I in fact lost the credit worth £22. They keep apologising for the ‘inconvenience’ but it’s not the inconvenience it’s a lack of communication on their side that lead to me loosing a class. Seeing as I’ve been a member for several months I hoped they would just honour me the class seeing as it wasn’t my fault however they’ve failed to do so. Look forward to hearing from the 1Rebel team to see how they can resolve this.

Positive experience: It’s a great Pilates class but recently they have squashed more beds into the room and you are on top of each other especially in movements that are outside the bed. Suddenly feels cramped here

Fantastic experience: Staff is so nice here!!

Positive experience: Unfriendly team. Wouldn’t let me in one minute after class started. Should be more flexible, & have a grace period. a we do live in London after all.

Fantastic experience: We had such a good experience! The sweetest and most helpful staff. Everyone’s so lovely. Also, the instructor, Gemma, managed to make it all inclusive for both the advanced and the beginners. Would highly recommend <3.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend their Pilates classes. I was there 4 mins early (already changed and stuff) and they didn’t let me in The class wasn’t even fully booked… Staff is barely polite

Fantastic experience: I really love coming into this studio and the Bayswater team. They are so friendly and create such a fun and friendly atmosphere. Best 1Rebel studio out of all of them (Holborn is 2nd). Big shout out to Hannah who is simply amazing!

Negative experience: Extremely hostile and rude staff. I booked a class, arrived on time, and was then not allowed into the class because I wasn’t early enough. The staff then said they were going to mark me as a no show and charge me £17. I asked how can I be a no show if I am here and on time. They said I’m a no show because I am not in the class. But I am not in the class because they won’t let me in? They then told me it’s not their problem I didn’t read the small print of the class policy email. So I travelled 45 mins to be on time for a class, not let in, and then I would have been charged £17 if I hadn’t got in touch with classpass. Definitely avoid this club, if this is how unwelcoming and hostile the reception is, I can’t imagine the class would be any good.

Negative experience: Very unfriendly with 1st-time comers, so unfriendly that I went all the way down to another rebel gym to complete my training. Also please, attach your rules before the first booking and not in an email after payment. Thanks.

Negative experience: Καθόλου ευγενικό προσωπικό !!!Μας έκλεισαν την πόρτα κυριολεκτικά στην μούρη ,1 δευτερόλεπτο πριν μπούμε στο μάθημα , (ενώ μας είχαν καθυστερήσει οι υπάλληλοι ,στην γραμματεια αναγκάζοντας μας να πάρουμε τις δικές τους κάλτσες για να μπούμε στο μαθημα ).Ειρωνικό ύφος και καμία διάθεση για εξυπηρέτηση . Με αποτέλεσμα να δώσουμε 70Ε και να μην κάνουμε καν μαθημα !!Φυσικα δε μαα επέστρεψαν τα χρήματα ! Τους εξηγήσαμε ότι ερχόμαστε απ την Ελλάδα και ότι δεν γνωρίζαμε τους κανονισμους . Μας φέρθηκαν ρατσιστικά και με τρομερή ειρωνία ! Πολυ κρίμα να υπάρχουν τέτοιοι άνθρωποι στον χώρο της άθλησης !!!

Fantastic experience: 1Rebel’s reshape is THE best workout and G in Bayswater is the best instructor! The studio is nice and clean and the location is great.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to 1Rebel for nearly 5 years and the service keeps getting worse. Having arrived at the Reformer class I was not let in because I didn’t know I needed to have grippy socks and didn’t want the privilege of buying one measly pair of branded socks from the reception for TWELVE POUNDS, on top of the £17 I had already paid for my class. I’ve done tons of reformer Pilates in other places and this has never been an issue. This studio is now all about ripping you off at every opportunity. NEVER GOING BACK. Good luck and let’s see how long you last in this competitive market. I wonder what Joseph Pilates would say about grippy socks.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, it’s small and private and the vibe is great. Toilets are very comfy and have everything you need as a women :)

Negative experience: Signed up with Class Pass and they forced me to pay 14.50£ for gripping socks for their Pilates class. They willingly omit to precise you have to bring gripping socks and that is their way of making extra money. Avoid at all cost 1Rebel.

Fantastic experience: The FOH staff at Bayswater are amazing! They recognize their regular members by name and are always courteous in helping you with any queries you might have. The coaching staff at 1Rebel is awesome! Bayswater 1Rebel is a hidden gem of West London!

Negative experience: Terrible and unaccommodating. Been coming to 1rebel for years and it’s gone so far downhill it’s no longer worth the money. My friend was going to be 3 minutes late and they wouldn’t let her in, which is a ridiculous policy not followed by any other gym. Staff are rude and on a pathetic power trip. Take your money to Barry’s. Better workout and not full of arrogant staff. This branch of 1reb is a special avoid.

Negative experience: I recently had a very frustrating experience with 1Rebel that I feel compelled to share. I called to cancel a reformer class because I was feeling unwell, and to my shock, I was told that I would lose my class in this case. This is unacceptable, and I am deeply disappointed in the way this situation was handled. As a paying customer, I expect to be able to prioritize my health without fear of losing the class I paid for. It is clear that 1Rebel prioritizes profit over the wellbeing of their customers, and that is simply unacceptable. Overall, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I would caution anyone considering 1Rebel as their fitness provider. It is important for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and the health and safety of their patrons, and it seems like 1Rebel failed to do so in this instance.

Negative experience: I arrived 5 min before the start of the lesson and the reception told me that I couldn’t attend the class because the first time you need to arrive 10 minutes earlier for equipment explanation. Unfortunately, they give you this information only after the booking is done and if someone (as me) booked the class less than 12 hours in advance you can’t cancel the reservation or you should pay 17£ of fees. IT IS NOT CHEAP SO BE CAREFUL AND PAY FOR A PLACE WHERE THEY TAKE CARE OF THE CLIENT

Negative experience: Avoid this place at all costs! The temperature in the room is incredibly low - it feels like a fridge and people were wearing hoodies. When I (very politely) asked for the air conditioner to be turned down, the instructor said he has no control over it and it is controlled by the reception. When I, then, asked if it is ok for me to check with the reception, he said that if I get out of the room I cannot come back and “the door will be closed”. More generally, they don’t do proper reformer pilates in this place and the instructor does not pay attention to each client so it is very easy to get injured if you are not experienced enough. AVOID!

Negative experience: First time trying to attend. No where to park so arrived a 7:33am class supposed to start 7:30am. One lady went in but they said to me the door was closed. Will never attend again and will stick to Orange Theory, F45 & Barry’s bootcamp. Shocking customer service.

Fantastic experience: Love the reformer class. I was so nervous going to a new class in a new place on my own but it was great and the team were so friendly, can’t wait to do more classes!

Positive experience: 1Rebel just isn’t Core Collective. It’s also not dog friendly although the trainers bring theirs in. The rooms here for Reshape are tiny, leaving minimal room for floor workouts. As the class is only 45 mins, this structure feels chaotic. If you like running, hit up Barry’s. The reformer is entirely dependent on the teacher, the reformers are basic & quite cheap feeling which is a shame. The constant call outs for the time left until the session are also a bit much (& slightly annoying), the policies here are super inflexible if you are unable to attend class. The smoothies are alright but nothing special. Unfortunately Core Collective has gone and 1Rebel just doesn’t cut it for me.

Fantastic experience: My experience at 1Rebel Bayswater has always been phenomenal. Having attended over 20 reshape sessions here i can't stress how amazing each session is both physically and mentally. Also a big shout out to Ami and Dan whose hospitality makes the 1Rebel experience at Bayswater a notch above the rest.

Fantastic experience: I called up for some info as my wife uses one rebel and loves it. I spoke to Ami at Bayswater who was super helpful. She was friendly and welcoming and explained all of the package and membership options to me very clearly. On the back of the friendly front of house team I will certainly be joining 1Rebel.

Negative experience: Have been going to 1 Rebel for almost a year and despite loving the concept and the classes the overall customer service is terrible. I have purchased several class packs and then they have taken classes of the timetable and therefore there are non appropriate for me to attend and instead of extended the export of the class pack they have just told me it’s too bad. Really disappointing especially when you buy the pack thinking you can use it after assessing the timetable and then they change the classes with no notice.

Negative experience: Disappointing experience, I was turned away from a class this morning. I was told I had to be there earlier to have the equipment explained, despite the fact I arrived before the class started. I tried to resolve this with the receptionists, had it been my business I would have offered to book the customer on the next available class and been accommodating. I have just moved to around the corner from this studio, I booked through class pass to try the class and would have likely booked a membership had the class been a positive experience. Instead of which they're lost a potential customer and turned away someone from a class, without resolving it in any way. The customer is key to your business and should always come first, it is disappointing to the say the least.

Fantastic experience: I have saw more changes in my body from attending 1Rebel for 3 months than I have from attending my last gym for 4 years! Every class feels like personal training, is high intensity, and tackles all those important vanity muscle groups. I’ve had comments on the changes from various people! Highly recommend the unlimited pass, it’s worth it!

Fantastic experience: Such friendly staff! Today was my first time at 1rebel and they made me feel right at home! They're only doing audio sessions at the moment due to covid but honestly it's well worth it! The spin session was good and easy to follow. The facilities are also lush, they provide towels, cleats even a water bottle if you need it! And I had a delicious smoothie after to top it all off If you're missing spin, this is the place for you!

Fantastic experience: I never enjoyed spin until 1Rebel Ride - now I am hooked. The Bayswater branch is great, nice staff, amazing and friendly trainers (in particular I enjoy classes with Sam and Millie), and it has very stylish/well-equipped facilities as well.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing spinning session with Clio, she was so motivating and fun! Will definitely come back! The music choices were delightful

Negative experience: £250 monthly fee far to much money to keep fit better off walking in the park not everyone is wealthy enough to use this facility but again something else built for the rich I would like to do keep fit but selling big issue prevents me affording such luxury basically I can't afford to sweat lol

Fantastic experience: I really love 1Rebel classes. It's got a nightclub vibe and is always a great workout. The Reshape classes are super fun, have great music and really knowledgeable instructors. I always feel knackered when walking out. The bathrooms are stocked with amenities. I personally love the cold towels as they're so refreshing after a class. Wish they were just a little bit cheaper ‍♀️

Negative experience: My friend and I came here to do a spin class for the first time today. The boys on reception were aware of this, however we were not told where the shoes were and that we needed shoes for the class. Our class was at 7.30pm, we showered afterwards and literally within 15 minutes 2 tannoys went off to say they were closing and if we didn't hurry, one of the boys would come and get us out himself, and if we did not leave we would be locked in the building. On Google, it says that you close at 9.30pm. My friend left with her hair soaking wet, which she could get ill from and they practically shood us out of the premises at 8.40pm.

Negative experience: Rubbish. Super unaccommodating and it feels really corporate too. Totally agree with the earlier review that this place is one to avoid.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleasantly surprised by this gym! The reshape class was definitely in the top three classes I have been in London. It combines very well treadmill running with bodyweight / dumbbell exercises on a bench. The treadmill was high end with a big touch screen where you can go from any speed to any speed in 2 seconds! I highly suggest the Reshape class!

Fantastic experience: I was in an accident last year that left me unable to work out. After recently receiving the all clear from the doctor I visited 1Rebel as I didn't have the drive to push myself in the gym like I used to. I received a call about an hour before notifying me I would be the only one in the class, I didn't want to waste the instructors time but was reassured this wasn't the case and that it just wouldn't have the normal 1Rebel feel. I was greeted by 2 friendly members of staff, 1 of which took the class with me (thank you so much for this!) and met my instructor Mel. The workout was insane and worth every penny. I was again, a little scared to push myself (but I know for next time I can go harder) but the class has definitely reignited my enjoyment for exercise. Also, the facilities are just as amazing as the workout. All I needed to bring was my gum gear and spare clothes.

Fantastic experience: AWESOME Team & AWEOME classes! If it’s your first time they’re very good at discount intro offers so do check the website Would recommend both Cycle & Reshape classes. Very clean & well stocked change rooms with enough lockers for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Have been going here regularly tor their Ride classes. after being to most studio/gyms in London that offer spin classes (I tried psycle, another space, digme etc) I would say this one is the best. The instructors are really good (Fran, Sarah F and Sarah S’s classes are ) The facilities are gorgeous (chilled towels are so nice ) their staff are friendly and super helpful and the bikes are so so so nice. Not clunky or awkward, easy to adjust, and feels really grounded. If you’re looking for the fun spin work out this is it.

Fantastic experience: My favourite place to work out! All the ride instructors are great (some music choices are better than others but I always get a good workout!). LOVE their themed classes - my all time favourite being Ariana VS Britney. Reception staff are super friendly and helpful, changing rooms are clean and relaxed. Would love it if they offered Rumble!

Fantastic experience: Smaller and quieter (in the morning anyway) than some of 1Rebel's other gyms back in East London, with the same brilliant format of Ride/Reshape with luxury changing rooms. Would have loved this one to offer the boxing class too.
