Fantastic experience: Came for the country music festival. Great outdoor venue set in an amphitheatre style, so everyone can see . The toilets were basic but the staff in the bar were great . A great venue

Fantastic experience: Excellent venue attended Christmas fair lots of individual stalls .Live music provided by an excellent Madness tribute band. Food and drinks available plus all with good sea views. Margate offers many forms of Art Turner contemporary, Street art, Artisticley designed clothes and magnificent buildings and beautiful designed gardens.Also cauture eateries as well as traditional eateries. I ❤️ Margate and want to explore the history behind this magnificent place.

Fantastic experience: People have made a lovely job and still improving it ,shame Thanet council have pulled the cash they promised but that's Thanet council all over .

Positive experience: Such a fun place on Pride Day. Can't really vouch for the rest of the time, but lots of local events happen here, so that has to be a good thing, right? It's very basic ... just an amphitheatre space really, but easily filled with stalls and mobile food outlets ... Anyway, Pride had a lovely feel ...

Negative experience: Long trek from Railway Station. Not much to see when you get there. Would stay down on main seafront if I visit Margate again

Fantastic experience: It's a lovely place as an outside performance area. Well positioned for coastal views but quite away out of the main town. More seating options would be gratefully appreciated, I feel. On the day of the event I attended, organisation was excellent - plenty of toilets provided and kept clean. Great atmosphere

Fantastic experience: I recently attended a theatre show of The Pirates of Penzance at The Oval, and it was an absolute joy...the staff were friendly, the performance was superb and the cocktails from the bar were lovely. It's remarkable how the bandstand has been transformed in recent years. Congratulations to the community group for their hard work and dedication. A perfect 10 out of 10 from me!

Films,and even wrestling brought back after many years . Nice hot drinks and this season they have opened a new bar selling alcoholic drinks .they deserve to to do well

Fantastic experience: Attended the Cliftonville Outdoor Cinema and it was brilliant! Friendly staff, warm welcome reasonably priced food and drink ! Love the Sunday music at The Oval what these volunteers have achieved must be applauded finally the oval does not look unloved ! Looking forward to the Cliftonville Night Market ❤️

Fantastic experience: Great fun at the Outdoor screening of Thelma and Louise. With the sea and beach behind, lights from the Edwardian Terraces all around and a great sound system and watching the wide scenery of Texas was a memorable experience

Positive experience: There was nothing going on on my last visit but have been to events there, it's ok, lacks accessibility, needs some renovation and paint, as a community asset the community group responsible seem to be doing very little to change these things.
