It offers a clean and well-maintained environment, perfect for swimming, fitness classes, or using the gym. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there’s plenty of parking available. A great community space for staying active and healthy.

Fantastic experience: It is a very beautiful place to visit. There are some private docks. The area is very nice and full of birds like geese, a variety of ducks, a lot of seagulls, and many new bird species. I usually go there and sit on the grass. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place to visit.

Fantastic experience: What a gem of a launch site for kayaking up the river or sailing in the bay and very reasonable launch fee. Fantastic staff, cheerful and very helpful. Be careful at the bottom of the ramp slippy under foot.

Fantastic experience: Amazing view to enjoy while on the treadmill! 20£ a month is fair for their monthly membership. It’s a bit small but they have all the equipments and all are new. The only thing bothering me is kids aged 10-13 coming to the adult gym! This needs to be resolved!

Positive experience: Amazing pilates instructor and class. Could be cleaner as a lot of dirt/fluff on the floors, which is clearly seen on socks and in corners and edges of the room. Enjoy my weekly Bollywood Burn class on a Monday evening too, instructor is Brilliant, the classes are always full. Booking is a little difficult as you can only book one week in advance, and as this is a popular class, it fills up quickly, members should have priority or be able to book online slightly earlier if this option was available just a suggestion,some of the staff are friendly but it would be nice if all of them were.

Fantastic experience: Nhs referred to 3 group exercise classes a week,with Anthony,bev and Darren who are friendly and knowledgeable and put together great sessions really enjoyable,also use the gym which is kitted out with all the latest fitness machines, good atmosphere and friendly people would recommend this place

Fantastic experience: Attended a kids' party here. It was amazing! The biggest bouncy castle I ever seen lovely soft, play nice big hall.

However, one downside would be their limited opening hours. Overall, it's a top-notch facility, and I'd highly recommend it to fitness enthusiasts, just be sure to check their operational hours before heading in.

Positive experience: Didn't use the leisure centre itself, only the reception desk to pay for kayak launch. It was fine for that, although a few bits of broken glass around and a strong smell of weed from the car next to us.

Positive experience: Great gym a women's only gym on site also lots of free classes when you are a member. Reasonable monthly subscription.

Negative experience: What a poor effort. No information on opening times. Closed on a Monday so I couldn't use the slipway when I have a key. Turns out the locks were changed. No email, no call, no message, no sign. There were many more disappointed people waiting at the slipway.

Fantastic experience: The reason for visiting this place was to purchase a slip way permit to launch our boat . Upon walking in to the Channel View Leisure centre at 7:15am we were greeted with a very warm welcome from reception who pointed out toilets that were spotless and refreshments after our 2 hour journey . People who were entering the premesis at the the time either staff or facility users were all very polite and friendly . The actual centre has an awsome view over the huge Cardiff Bay . I can imagine it is a spectacular site through the summer with the boat traffic . We had a few hours on the water trying our boat and using the famous barrage locks to enter the Bristol channel . All in all its a place I can highly recommend for picturesque views and lovely local people .

Positive experience: The place has a gym and its own indoor and outdoor football pitch, so even if it’s a rainy day you can still have a fun match with your friends Outdoor pitch is approximately 36 quid an hour

Fantastic experience: My son goes to Taekwondo here with Cardiff Martial Arts must say are amazing children can start at 4 or 5 up to 100 years old. Leisure centre staff are friendly and helpful

Positive experience: Well equipped leisure centre with a outdoor 3G 5 a side pitch which can be used as a small 6 a side pitch, albeit a bit cramped. Staff are helpful and friendly and the gym looks to be good quality. Changing rooms and toilets are clean and there is parking onsite. This can often be quite cramped but plenty of on street parking is in the vicinity. Close to a public park and the larger 'Marl' 3G pitch.

Fantastic experience: The gym was refurbished a while ago & is now excellent, plenty of techno gym cardio equipment i can log onto with my apple watch, a great range of machines & a massive free weights area, it’s approx 3 times as large as the original gym & even has a special ladies only room in top, plus loads of fitness classes, best gym I’ve used so far at a really reasonable price
