Positive experience: Stay at the art’otel instead. Would not go back. You cannot find water/open shops late at night given the location and the staff was rude when I asked to buy water late-ish at night. I was unable to extend my stay by one night, was told it was a two night minimum (after I had been there two nights) and it could only be done online as the staff had no access to an internal booking system (apparently?). The cleaning of the rooms was sub-par also. To top it off on my departure day housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times in two hours - the first at 9AM (and I was not late to check out). I went to the Battersea Art’Otel for the final night that I needed to extend my stay, and spent New Years Eve on their rooftop pool. I will not stay at any Pestana again.

Positive experience: I stayed at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel & Spa for two nights just after Christmas, looking for a short break and a bit of luxury. I usually stay with chains like Leonardo or Hilton, so I’m probably comparing service levels as well as facilities. The location is a real highlight. Battersea Park is directly opposite and Battersea Power Station is a short walk away, which is great for food, shopping and walks. The bed was extremely comfortable and the blackout curtains were excellent. The spa facilities were clean and quiet when we used them, though quite small, and the gym is very limited. There were some disappointments for a hotel at this price point. The room I booked wasn’t set up as requested, the walls were thin, and the room felt under-stocked (limited toiletries and tea/coffee). Breakfast was probably the weakest part of the stay: items ran out quickly, there was no self-serve hot drinks machine, and guests often had to ask staff for basics like cutlery, bowls or coffee. Staff service was mixed – some were helpful and pleasant, while others came across as abrupt, and one hygiene issue I observed was concerning. Overall, it was an okay stay rather than a standout one. Great location and comfort, but the service and attention to detail didn’t quite match what I’d expect for the cost.

Fantastic experience: the location is great. battersea right near.....everything! we've been treated like kings! just finished our third stay in december. there really isn't any reason to consider staying anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Great place. Cheaper than central London. Proper hotel. Right beside Battersea. 2 mins walk. Multi views. Beside park. Multi bridges. 35 min walk to Big Ben and central areas. Close to river taxis and different train stops. Yet quiet and not hectic. Batteesea has many shops and food places and activities. Great base. Used booking.com and simple booking. No fuss and no hassle. Choice of breakfast wasnt included which I prefer as can travel locally. Deliver roo stops here .. only problem room service over priced but hotel prices much easier and better to bring in or order out.

Positive experience: I only stayed 1 night as was attending a work event. The room was a decent size and so was the bathroom. It didn't have an iron but a request to reception had one delivered in less that 15 minutes. Overall the staffe were great. USB C plug in points on the wall made it handy to charge phone. There wasa not a great selection for breakfast menu but it covered the basics. Awful telephone reception throught. If you need to make a call, do it over wifi.

Fantastic experience: Definitely 5 star review, what a treat! The breakfast was amazing, great location, it was our first time in the UK and we loved it. All the staff are very kind, special mention to Kaio at reception, who checked us in, very helpful with tips, very political and always with a smile, a special mention to the woman who checked us out, unfortunately I can't remember her name but she helped us to book the transfer which was very early in the morning. The spa and indoor facilities were also really good, i already had bad experiences in other Hotels spa facilities, but Pestana Chelsea Bridge did not let us down. The housekeeping was also very good, perfect cleaning always left our room spotless. The general manager should be proud of the team and the way the hotel is organized. Congratulations on that! Fantastic experience: We stayed at the hotel for six nights. So first of all the location - perfect. The Chelsea neighborhood is stunning and the power station area is simply amazing. You can spend whole days walking around the area. Public transportation - three minutes from the bus stop and ten minutes from the tube station (black line). The hotel itself is new, the staff is very kind and helpful. Our room was large. In terms of cleanliness I would give it a score of 8.5. And the bed is large, comfortable pillows, but the mattress is very soft, we felt like we were sleeping on a trampoline. And another thing important - the noise from the train station: our room faced the train tracks and there was noise 24/7. So if you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room that does not face that direction.

Fantastic experience: First time in London and what a treat! Flew in from Canada taking the red eye landing on Nov 1. At Pestana Chelsea Bridge hotel Stephanie and Angela helped to welcome us after a long journey and my husband and I could not be more Thankful for their hospitality and the early check in as we definitely needed the couple extra hours of rest before we went exploring through Battersea. They even supplied us with a universal adapter so that we did not need to purchase one. The amenities and location of this hotel was fantastic. From the gorgeous pool, to the futuristic steam room to the sauna, all were new, clean and above my expectations as compared to many hotels. Spotlighting the dedication and service this hotel offers, we’d like to make sure Syed Shoeb Ahmed is recognized as he went out of his way to ensure our stay was perfect. We had gotten back to our hotel room (near midnight) and had received a note written by the front desk staff regarding the inconveniences related to our room due to the inconsistent temperatures. We went to the front desk and Syed was able to make it right for us ensuring we were accommodated with a comfortable and gorgeous room and because we switched our room so late into the night, he ensured we could have late checkout. Wow! On the morning we left, Karin ensured we had a proper sendoff, ensuring my departure to the airport was seamless. From arrival to departure, this team showed such warmth and hospitality. We will be back soon with our 3 kids! Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: This hotel was amazing. Deluxe Superior King Room: Excellent size, the bed was comfortable and warm. The bathroom was lovely and had both a bathtub and shower, which were separate. The water pressure was perfect as was the temperature. Location: Great location as it is a 5 minute walk to Battersea Power station shopping centre. Breakfast: Would recommend paying for the breakfast as it is so worth it due to the range of food on offer. Staff: Friendly and welcoming. Spa: Has a sauna, steam room , hot and cold shower, a pool, and chill out space for you to read and relax. Best steam room I have been to, date and extremely clean. Gym: is on the second floor. Small but lovely, also has a bathroom with shower facilities Room: Had a room facing the train track so could hear it a little at night, but the bed puts you to sleep. Spa: The sauna broke down the next morning, and wish there were more lounge chairs in the chill area. . Children are allowed in the pool which is in the spa, and can be heard when trying to chill. I understand it is not an adults only hotel but could have allocated times for children.

Fantastic experience: Our main receptionist, Kaio, gave us an amazing support during the entire stay. Very friendly and patient also. The rooms are great, with very comfortable beds It's a shame a pool the closes at 8pm, instead of 10pm. That small time diference would allowed us to enjoy it after work...

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the hotel for almost a month and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a great location, is well maintained, and reasonably priced. From the team in reception (especially the blonde Brazilian girl ☺️) to housekeeping to room service, everyone was very friendly and made us feel at home. Fantastic experience: The hotel is clean and beautiful but the real magic takes place with the customer service. Kaio (Hotel staff) was so understanding and accommodated my needs after expressing that I struggle with noise. He moved me into a quieter section of the hotel and came up to hotel room to support me to move into another beautiful hotel room which was an upgrade as their way of recognising me as a loyal customer. Positive experience: Cooked breakfast was cold so stick to pastrys and cold options. No coffee machine just an urn of filter coffee. rooms are nice but the lobby and bar are a bit souless. Staff are helpful.

Positive experience: I booked this hotel as part of my husband’s 40th birthday surprise. We were very disappointed that the spa was not accessible. Felt let down because of this and this is a real shame. We have travelled over two hours away from home and really thought something could have been especially arranged for us. The hotel was great and we loved the chocolate cupcakes. The location was great and near so many lovely restaurants. The tea was not great and mine was cold, not a lot of choice for vegetarian’s for breakfast, apart from cereal, toast, pastries and fruit. Please can you arrange a refund for the spa this would be much appreciated. Thank you
Fantastic experience: We stayed here mid week for one night - absolutely amazing! Great location, easy walking distance to battersea park and the power station, lots to see and do in the local area! Also the parking garage next door is really convenient. The staff are amazing. They were 100% attentive and kept us happy through our stay. We had a suite on the 12th floor which was brilliant, and a double room on the 2nd floor. We all got ready together in the suite (5 of us) and there was plenty of space. True breakfast in the morning was amazing - and as I’m vegan, they had the chef make me a fresh vegan plate, which was so appreciated as the buffet seemed to share serving spoons and i was concerned about the mix of vegan/non vegan items. After we checked out we used the spa, and honestly it was the perfect end to the stay! Really recommend this hotel if you’re local, so lovely and convenient. 100% happy from start to finish!

Negative experience: Disappointed. 2 out of 3 elevators been not working during our all stay, it was such a struggle to got one you have to wait for so long everytime. Service was not the best. No indication of all the existing amenities during our check in. Lot of small things adding up that doesnt make this hotel a 4 stars at all

Fantastic experience: I stayed at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge and it was a very positive experience. The location is excellent, right next to the Battersea Park and the mall of Battersea Power Station, full os shops and restaurants and it’s really easy to reach to the center of London. The staff of the reception were always friendly and helpful, the team of housekeeping did a great job keeping the room perfectly clean and fresh. Overall, I think this hotel is a great choice for those looking for comfort, I would happily stay there again in the future! :)

Check in went really smoothly, our rooms were to die for and then we had a really pleasant meal followed by some cocktails at the bar. Negative experience: Absolutely disappointing! Duvet cover has stains all over it, sheets also. Bathroom is not clean. Service is too slow! No room service at night which is inconvenient! You can’t even order water! I had to scan a code to get water and did not even receive it, staff said they never received an order!!! Also, in all hotels around the world, room gets replenished with water daily! Except this one!!! Only first night! This is ridiculous! Def one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had with hotels so far!

Positive experience: Decent hotel, it really doesn’t feel upscale at all in the lobby or hallways or even in the rooms for the most part. You can tell it’s fairly outdated, with certain parts of the room decorated with more contemporary furniture to spruce up the appeal but overall you can tell it’s old from the walls appliances furniture etc. I booked last minute for one night and was upgraded to one of their best suites (2 room), and for the money I spent it was obviously a good deal, but I can’t really imagine having paid full price for that room (which is also probably why it was empty and they gave it to me), furniture is old and not really that comfortable. Bedroom was actually nice to be fair, well decorated and modern but the rest not really. Also no smart tv’s but I guess that can be expected. The staff were pretty nice and helpful, check in was one of the fastest at any hotel I’ve been to. Location is decent as well, although most would prefer to stay north of the river. Overall 3/5, it’s an aging 4 star hotel in desperate need of a real renovation rather than just the selective polishing which they’ve done. *Also the hotel is directly next to some rail tracks which is obviously not desirable whatsoever, on the 12th floor you can faintly hear it especially during the day so I’d imagine lower floors would suffer much more

Positive experience: We had an interesting and mostly positive stay. There are several great features, along with a few minor downsides, but overall it was a comfortable experience. ✅ Pros: • Comfy, big bed (superior king) – very relaxing • Well-equipped with good facilities (teapot, tea, glasses, TV, robs, big table…) • Includes both a shower and a bath – a nice touch • Swimming pool on site – and it was empty in the early morning, which was perfect • Small gym, but enough for a morning run and squats • The location is stunning - next to the riverside walk. • Service was great – staff were friendly and helpful ❌ Cons: • The TV was old model, can’t connect with a phone, does not support wireless projection. • Noise from the railway side – trains and door sounds made it quite loud, especially at night • Because of the noise, it was hard to fall asleep and get up feeling well-rested • Breakfast wasn’t very impressive – we tried it once and didn’t go back (apart from staff members who were exceptional. In summary, it’s a well-equipped and comfortable place, ideal if you want facilities like a pool and gym. Just bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, and maybe grab breakfast elsewhere.

They shake rapidly every time I’m on them and one time I was going to the 12th floor to see my parents, it went all the way down from the 9th floor to the 2nd floor to pick up some random guy with tats and take him to the 5th floor. Fantastic experience: The hotel is in an excellent location, kist a short walk from Battersea Power Stationn, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants and public transportation. Positive experience: Unfortunately I had to pay 20 gbp per hour for late checkout without any flexibility of the staff at the reception. The rules are the rules... otherwise nice rooms and good location still 10 mn walk from closest tube station

Negative experience: Got a deluxe premium room for 260 pounds for the night. It is run down and not what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel.. its more like a 2 star. I wish I booked the premier inn at battersea now as its alot more modern and up class and only 80 a night.. The front of the hotel is dirty, trash all over the tables and cigarette butts everywhere. Looked like a bin. The pestana check in was a joke. The person was really rude. Pretty much ignored me and was treating me like a lower class citizen. He was acting like he was in a 5 star hotel. The hotel lobby reminded me of one I saw in downtown Baghdad. The room was dirty, run down with no working air con and the lights were not working. It was a 2 star room and meant to be a 4 star. I have made a complaint because I wouldn't pay more than 90 per night for that.

Negative experience: had a really disappointing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was shocking - the sofa in the room was absolutely disgusting, covered in multiple stains. It was honestly so bad I didn't even want to sit on it. The windows faced directly onto busy train tracks, and starting from 4 AM, there were constant trains passing by, making it impossible to get any proper sleep. To make things worse, the breakfast was extremely limited, and some of the food that was served was undercooked. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience and I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here

Positive experience: Overall, our stay was good. I came for the bath and spa, and was pleasantly surprised at how much was available in the nearby shopping area. The location is definitely the best part. Don’t get the hotel breakfast, it’s awful. But there are plenty of nearby restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking if you want something better.

Positive experience: I was surprised to read all the reviews regarding how clean the hotel was. I guess we were unlucky with our room? Coffee splatters across the walls and ceilings, a lounge chair that looked absolutely filthy (was brownish rather than cream). The bed mattress was ridiculously soft, and only provide decaf Nespresso pods. One night was enough here. Stayed here purely for proximity to US embassy. Granted it’s in a great location for the power station, but beyond that I’m struggling to find a reason to give this place much of a positive review.

Fantastic experience: The Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel lives up to the reviews. It's great for extended stays in London. Located very near the Battersea Power Station and underground on the Northern line, you can get anywhere in London very easily. The room was clean and well serviced. Wifi was acceptable. Nothing a problem for the very friendly staff. Many dining and shopping options available close by. . M & S Foodhall nearby. Convenient local market. The hotel does a good breakfast. Fantastic experience: Very great stay. The personnel were really nice, especially the women at the reception with the purple hair. I just asked on booking for a nice view for the birthday of my wife and they added the cup cake and the word, so nice, thank you. The view was nice in front of the Battersea Park. The location of the hotel is very good in a quiet area close to everything. The Battersea pier is a 2 min walk and a very nice area. The breakfast was awesome, (English breakfast) with home made smoothie and until 11 am so you don't need to eat for the rest of the day. The spa with the sauna and the swimming pool are great and clean. The only little thing is that the spa and the Gym are pretty small, so if many people go at the same time, it will be hard to find a place. But during our stay the spa was never full full so very great. I will come back for sure.

Positive experience: Spa facilities were disgusting.bits floating in the pool! No one in spa to advise on treatment or facilities! Fantastic experience: Had a meeting there and the service from every member of the team was fantastic. Polite, warm, welcoming. I should add that I left my mobile phone there and the staff kept it safe for a couple of hours until i retraced my steps and made my way back there. Great staff!

Positive experience: Really good location, very close to Battersea Park, and minutes from the Power Station. We thought that the room was great value for money, however the Spa was a let down, and the gym is literally in what would be a room, on the 2nd floor. I think the bar area could also do with a spruce up, but the hotel is certainly a 4/5 overall, and we plan to return.

Negative experience: Room was nice. Tv broken. Spa was not good. Steam room out of order and the sauna was 70 degrees so not warm enough. I booked specifically for the gym and spa so very disappointing. The gym was tiny and was in a converted hotel room.

Positive experience: We were looking for a last minute hotel room due to flight delays and wanted something near our family. Found this and was greatly surprised. Positive experience: Uninterested staff at the front desk throughout the 3 days I stayed there. Could hear the train inside the room. Pool and spa get dirty quickly and there is nobody to clean up. Room not ready until 4pm and got told to change in the toilet.

Fantastic experience: This is my second stay here. I enjoyed the 2 bedroom suite with my young family and it was flawless. Aside from one mishap when reception confirmed a non slip bath mat being sent to our room only to wait 30 minutes to receive abother call to say the hotel doesn't have one. Having managed various hotels around the world, this is a critical item to have with housekeeping and deemed an expected item at a 4* level. Bathing a 3yo and 1yo without this was a wee bit sketchy. A big shout out to Jessica from reception who was exceptionally hospitable and made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Negative experience: I had a truly disappointing experience at the Chelsea Pestana Hotel. While the waitresses and restaurant staff were kind, professional, and displayed genuine humanity, the same cannot be said for the receptionists and overall service. We arrived at the hotel very early in the morning at 7 AM, with my 8-year-old daughter who was seriously ill. We kindly requested an early check-in due to her condition, only to be met with an incredibly rude response from the receptionist, who coldly stated that check-in is at 3 PM. There was no empathy or willingness to help, which left us feeling helpless in an already stressful situation. The treatment at checkout was just as disheartening. I was very sick myself, running a high fever, and we had to wait in the lobby for our taxi as our flight was late. Exhausted and unwell, I lay down on the sofa briefly, only to have a receptionist approach me and scold me, saying I wasn’t allowed to do that. Despite explaining my condition, she showed no sympathy or understanding. While I respect the need for rules, showing a little humanity in such situations should be a basic standard in hospitality. At this hotel, it’s clear that the customer does not come first. In addition, the cleanliness of the hotel was below par. Dust was everywhere, and the cleaning staff barely spent five minutes in the room before leaving. The lack of attention to detail was evident and disappointing for a property of this caliber. Add to this that the fridge in the room was out of service and we informed them at the reception with no luck, the pool and the elevator were also out of servic3. Out stay was 6 nights. This was an overall terrible experience, and I would never recommend Chelsea Pestana Hotel to anyone. For an industry centered on customer care, this hotel fell short in every way that mattered.

Positive experience: Very friendly staff who were all pleasent and helpful . Rooms are quite basic but does the job fine. Only thing that really let us down was the shower which frankly was useless. Sauna needs to have a water bucket otherwise pointless to have one. Showers in the spa cld do with shampoo and soap. Location is very good and a good alternative to the other hotel in the power station, which is over priced.

Positive experience: Been to an excellent Pestana hotel in Madeira thought I'd try this one. Stayed for two nights over this weekend. Great place to visit Battersea Power Station but just that bit far out from the centre, 15 mins walk to the tube and changing to different lines a bit tedious. Staff were very nice and courteous. Our room was on level 8, overlooking the rail tracks which was a bit noisy even with the triple glazing. Tired room, beds.not very comfortable, furnishings a bit dirty and stains on the carpet. Window was filthy not been cleaned for ages. Breakfast was disappointing on a busy Sunday morning, running out of items, not replenishing them quick enough. Coffee out of a thermos was in the 80's and the lack of choice. A place like this needs decent coffee machines! It was a little better on the Monday morning. Taxi from the Shard back after 10pm ,25 mins £28 was not bad. Overall a bit of improvement needed for a four star hotel.

Negative experience: For your management team - only called to find out / confirm check in time as saw 4pm and could not even ask my question - instead the lady who I could not get her name working 15/12/24 on the desk at 12:05pm hung up on my 3 times. Very very rude she shouldn’t be working there. I could have been anyone on the phone with an emergency. Has an attitude and should be let go. You don’t work in Chelsea in a hotel like that, with attitude. Good thing I hadn’t checked in simply went to the harbour instead. And yes just because of this lady I’ve cancelled my booking wouldn’t want her to be the one leaving notes on my room for service requests grumbling at work. Be warned!

Negative experience: The hotel was wow in the website and booking, but the reality is disappointing. Very old and not very much cleaned. The management needs to give attention on the hygiene. Also, staff in the reception are more female. I cant tell you more about the complications, polices, and rules they are making. To be honest the lady who was in the night shift she was listening and understanding the customers’ needs. But the one I faced when I did checkout she was super rude.

Fantastic experience: Pestana has a super position opposite Battersea park . 2 mins walk to bus , 25 mins walk to Sloane square and 10 mins walk to Battersea power station with the fabulous shops and restaurants . Incredible value for money. The newly opened Arts hotel at BPS is twice the rate with tiny rooms . Pestana has large rooms , great bathrooms , helpful staff . I had a bar meal , Prego steak sandwich and fries . Cooked perfectly , tasty. Quick and great value . Compliments to kitchen crew . I stay here regularly and the spa is also fabulous. . Great lap pool , sauna. Steam room . Great value for the room rate . I’m a hotelier so I should know . This place is a gem .

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a bad experience with my stay at the hotel because someone stole a bag from my room while I was not there. Had only 2 nights stay, everything else was OK but the situation was handled poorly as no apologies or solutions were provided. Be careful with your belongings even if it’s a paper bag with sweets you bought for your kids back home :)

Negative experience: Myself and my team regularly (4/5 nights per week) stay at this hotel due to its convenient location to our suppliers and office however, we will no longer be doing so and will be seeking an alternative location. Over the summer of regular stays we have all noticed a slight rudeness across the staff however this has been ignored as some of the staff are incredibly kind and polite. Today however, I was greeted by the most disgraceful customer service, the breakfast staff and operations manager included. I asked for a coffee which was grainy and disgusting, when I asked for it to be remade a new one was brought back with a side of passive aggression "a special one just for you". My son had breakfast which they said was fine and I didnt have to pay for it however when I went to pay for my coffee I was accused of taking food too! It's laughable really because in all honesty the breakfast is not pleasant (I've bought it before and been thoroughly disappointed) which is why I only ordered coffee, but the attitude of the ops manager who I had this interaction with was disgusting. Frankly, I would be furious if one of my staff spoke to a customer the way I was spoken to. I was going to email my complaint but considering it was the ops manager at fault I thought this would not be acted upon properly so I felt a public review was better. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Positive experience: I always stay here for work and really enjoy this hotel. Great rooms and location. Shame about the lack of sockets/usb ports near the bed though.

Negative experience: I wish I could share a positive experience, as I had high expectations for this hotel during our short 2-night stay in London. Unfortunately, our stay was incredibly disappointing. The check-in experience was terrible, to say the least. We arrived earlier than expected, and while I didn’t expect the room to be ready, we were offered to store our luggage, which was fine. However, when we returned for check-in, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked. Despite having reserved and paid in advance, we were given a much inferior room, which was clearly not what I had paid for. If the staff had shown any consideration for their guests, they would have offered to check us in earlier, and it would have prevented our original room from being resold. Furthermore, even though our original booking was for three people in a room that included a sofa bed, the hotel tried to charge us extra for a bed for our daughter at check-in. The entire situation was handled poorly. The front desk staff we interacted with lacked basic customer service skills. To make matters worse, the room we were placed in was well below 4-star standards. The shower head holder was broken, the bathtub drain didn’t work, and the carpet had noticeable stains. The curtains were dusty, and there were no plugs to charge a phone near the bedside lockers, which it is inconvenient. The only positive was that the bed was comfortable, but it is clear that maintenance and cleanliness are not a priority. On top of all that, there were noisy guests in the corridor throughout the night. Overall, the entire experience was incredibly frustrating. Aside from its convenient location, I would have given this hotel a zero-star review. I would not recommend it to anyone seeking quality service or accommodations.
Positive experience: Nice hotel with large, clean rooms. Decent breakfast. Helpful staff. However, the lack of electrical sockets next to the bed was extremely frustrating! The spa was very basic (to the point of not even being worth using). Also, I’m sure this is not the hotel’s fault - but I had zero mobile data coverage anywhere near the hotel, which was odd

Fantastic experience: Perfect location to access central London. Right next door to a car park too if (like us) you don't trust the trains. Staff are lovely and the rooms are clean and tidy. Have stayed there several times now. Always a pleasure.
