Fantastic experience: Great staff very friendly great selection of drinks and bar food etc etc only downside for me was access isnt clear from the carpark but staff quality of equipment and general atmosphere was superb so full 5 star review due to staff members going above and beyond to accommodate everyone who entered the building in the time I was visiting

Fantastic experience: We held my daughter’s 13th birthday party here and it was absolutely fantastic. Kate helped me organise the ‘glow’ party. I couldn’t fault the venue, food or staff. All brilliant and highly recommend as a venue to hire. An added bonus was that the Andy the DJ from Ace Disco Party Sounds knew the place well (and was also top notch!). Thanks Alex, Kate and team for making it such a great night

Fantastic experience: I had the party after my sons christening here. We had a buffet put on by the club which was delicious. All the guests commented on the venue and how nice the food was and reasonably priced the drinks were. The staff were fantastic and set everything up for us arriving and provided us plates and cutlery for the cake. We will be having our parties here from now on!

Fantastic experience: Yesterday we held a 10 year celebration party for our son and daughters who live in supported living at Beechwood in Welton at Blackies Club the service we received from planning and the actual party were great. The facilities perfect for our event the buffet met everyone's requirements wouldn't hesitate to recommend using the Club for any future events at all. Thanks Kate and your crew x

Fantastic experience: I have just organised an event here, what an absolutely fantastic venue. I can’t thank event coordinator Kate, the staff and the venue itself enough. Throughout the whole process, from the initial enquiry right through to the night of the event itself Kate was extremely helpful and patient with all our various requests and questions. Of all the many things I had to worry about whist arranging this event, the venue certainly wasn’t one of them. The buffet provided was excellent and the price of drinks is very very cheap. I would have no hesitation arranging another event here, thanks again to all involved.

Fantastic experience: The place has very much changed over the years, from being a member with my late father to now enjoying it with the wife and grand kids when they play football, i can say its a really friendly, family environment. The staff are lovely especially the one lady who seems to be there on every event, from my nephews wedding last year where she was seen blowing up endless amounts of balloons and adding extra touches off her own back to help, to more or less every other event thats ever held there helping and chatting and what looks like making the whole staff seem relaxed and happy. The reasoning for wanting to Express the gratitude is recently she helped my elderly mother at the club, with such love. Well done blackies for having such compassionate staff who obviously care for the place the way it should. Blackies is certainly the place to go for a few hours out where the kids can enjoy themselves also. The party planner kate is helpful And the new landlord boasts potential

Positive experience: I attend a Pilates class at Blackies on a Thursday Evening. I think there is more scope for much more activities there. Brough with its ever increasing population is very short on recreational areas.

Fantastic experience: Great hospitality for our coach load on way to Hull. Large clubhouse, great function room. Good selection of beers at good prices. Laid on pizzas for us, which was well appreciated. Brilliant promotion of girls football with several age groups playing on the clubs fields. Many other facilities and large car park as well.

Fantastic experience: Great bonfire night here. It was all ran very professionally and everything handled very well. They had beer tents and also had a hot dog and burger stall. There was lots of people in attendance but there was plenty of room for everyone. I would highly recommend bringing the family to their annual bonfire night.

Positive experience: Excellent facilities outside and inside! There for U9 girls football. Good pitches and lots of them. Nice bar, staff and beer options. Only issue was getting there with the entrance to the ground being very small and unmarked so very easy to miss. Be very careful which mapping you use or you end up down a dead end on a housing estate that backs onto the grounds!
