Fantastic experience: If I could, I’d give 6 stars! There’s a great variety of training options, including boxing classes, circuit training, and a Championship class. There's also a small gym area with well-maintained equipment and plenty of punching bags to work with. Both men's and women's changing rooms are available and kept clean. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff are passionate, dedicated, and genuinely love what they do. The atmosphere is always welcoming and motivating — whether you're a beginner or more experienced, you’ll feel right at home. Highly recommended to anyone looking to train hard, improve their fitness, and be part of a supportive community!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend coming to this gym to learn Muay Thai. My son has been going for over 10 months and has become so much more confident with himself. Simon and the team are excellent and very supportive, can not compliment them enough.

Fantastic experience: The city center K Star branch has a welcoming and safe atmosphere with detailed and methodical teaching for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. The tutors are highly skilled and will help you develop skills thoroughly, thanks to Simon, Gilbert and Amus. I started here from scratch, and in about three months graded to Yellow. If you're consistent and disciplined, you'll learn top skills here.

Fantastic experience: K star is a professional, friendly and welcoming environment which pushes you to excel in muay thai. I have personally had a great experience with the coaches and the other students as they help me to progress within the varied classes that are offered. As a whole, it has been an exceptional journey so far and i would really recommend to any person attempting to progress in the sport or even those who have an interest in training within this type of environment.the gym offers a intro for beginners

Fantastic experience: Coming here is the best thing I ever did. Been training 5 months have lost close to 10kg. I feel the most confident I ever have. All staff members are very friendly, patient and experienced. Had an amazing time so far, met some great people at the gym of all levels. If you’re someone who is contemplating starting Muay Thai I couldn’t recommend K-Star more. It’s beginner friendly and a positive environment to be in for men, women and children alike.

Fantastic experience: Been training at this gym for over a year now, progressed so much and reached my goals physically and mentally. The great atmosphere and the support from the coaches Simon and Gilbert really pushed me to where I am today and they played a key part in my time here. This gym feels like a second home and it's got a friendly, family-like environment. Fantastic experience: Best kickboxing and muay Thai gym in whole of Birmingham, been bringing my son's Zain'ud'din and Zaiyan here for last 3 years and must say the trainers, Simon Whitehead and Gilbert are the best in their craft. I would not take my children anywhere else. If you are looking to do kickboxing do not look anywhere else but here. You will thank me later!!!

Negative experience: Hi, I have got money taking out me account 59 quid and the reference says Kstarthaiboxing and I haven’t even made a membership there so? Can you cancel it. Every month on the 15th 59 quid gets takin out.

Fantastic experience: I have been training here for a few years now and can say Simon is one of the best instructors out there, I've trained at a few other gyms and have found that unless you are trying to fight professionally they aren't really interested but Simon and the senior students are all very supportive no matter what your reason is for training. Great friendly atmosphere in the gym from staff and students can't recommend kstar enough. Any friends I have brought along for a trial session have joined. Keep up the good work +++++

Fantastic experience: At first I was pretty nervous on my first beginner class. However, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Amazing sessions and definitely worth the pain. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere and high professionally!

Negative experience: Not satisfied as did not told me, when contacted, they don't do beginner class on Saturday plus after doing intro session the instructor spoken to me in unprofessional manner telling it's not for me. If they made me aware that they don't do beginner class on weekends then I would not had wasted my time coming. Better to check elsewhere if you only can commit to do on weekends like me. Now the owner instant reply from what I wrote in the review is contradiction, as I had explained everything over the phone. Plus he knew about my circumstances that I only could do once a week because of the child commitment and being single mum. Anyways, thank you owner for your reply. I have found better place which can provide better facilities. I would suggest that next time when someone like me does ask you information in full then you tell the FULL facts!! Your "FREE" session was good though but do tell the (works for you) instructor that treat everyone with respect then at least you will not have such reviews like I wrote. ALL THE BEST.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined as a member here, immediately made to feel welcome by all staff and members! The facility has everything you need as well as a good gym/free weights section. A very clean environment and great, intense, classes.

Fantastic experience: My nephew started a beginner's class here and I've had to sit and wait for him every class. From my encounter I must say the place is clean and the classes looks really fun. I might just start as well. The staffs are very polite and informative. Really welcoming. I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: K star is an amazing place, I've been coming for 15 weeks now and I'm glad I did. I've gained confidence and fitness beyond what I ever thought would be possible in such a small time frame. Everybody is really friendly and welcoming. I've recommended K star to all my friends and even my family. Even if you think it's not for you, have a taster lesson just to see, I never imagined I would fall in love with Muay Thai as I have so you never know.
