Fantastic experience: Great pool and gym

Fantastic experience: A great gym with all the equipment you need , recently all done up threw out , beautiful warm swimming pool and all the staff are really friendly and on hand to help you at any time I love the place and go 3 times a week

Negative experience: I have had an unsatisfactory experience with the gym. It was too small, not air conditioned, had little music and was split across two rooms. I would not recommend setting up a direct debit

Negative experience: I can’t comment on the hotel as I’ve never stayed but the pool area and changing rooms are so dirty, they do not get cleaned correctly, mouldy showers, disgusting toilet, dusty areas with a bad smell, I have complained about this before but the staff don’t pay attention to the hygiene. The pool is also very dirty with bits of skin and fair floating in the water. Very disappointing, will not be returning

Fantastic experience: Love it here take my grand kids swimming I've recently joined so now a member very cheap nice gym saunas steam room although I only swim it all looks nice and relaxed not too busy also a little separate pool for little ones, never over crowded, pool lovely and warm much nicer than life centre the water is freezing there, staff nice and friendly

Positive experience: A really relaxed and comfortable experience, very friendly and staff helpful and friendly also,a nice and enjoyable place to go! In fact makes it easy ,for those( self included ) who feel slightly awkward!

Negative experience: The Pool itself is warm very nice to swim in. The showers in the women's changing rooms are disgusting. Mold on the walls clumps of hair on the shower floors and the shower jet head is encrusted with dirt. Needs a clean, a deep clean at that. Shameful !!

Fantastic experience: Great hotel gym which is rare. Staff is great, they got a squat rack and basically every bar you would need as a serious strength athlete. Great stuff!

Negative experience: Overall it was disgusting. You walk into a building which appears to be a low budget conservatory built by bodgit and co. The member of staff although slightly greasy seems pleasent enough. The fee for a day pass is paid, then our journey begins. The changing room. Im instructed that the changing room for gents is under a key code (odd the ladies are not) you go in and the first thing you notice is the smell. Its awful. Its cramped. Theres no lockers. The floor is dirty. The walls...are dirty and the seats? Yep...dirty. so i get changed and carry my stuff outside to the lockers. Which are all damaged, the doors bent or missing. The gym is spread out. Bits by the entrance and the other two rooms on the other side of the pool. The only way to get there is to walk through the pool area. This increases the dirt brought in and eventually makes its way into the pool. The pool side shower, was disgusting. There was a blob of red on the floor, giving the appearance of a chunky blood clot. The drain was clogged with hair and a leaf (just another sign of the dirt making its way round) The steam room was in darkness. No light at all. (The whole place was pretty dim) this is probably best to hide the dirt within. with seats that make you feel as if your sat in a 80s era budget airline terminal. Cheap plastic glued to the wall. The sauna was a step up, but not like the bar was set high. There was plastic cups, wrappers and dust all over the place. The pool itself was actually warmer then average, strange since the shower was stone cold! But this could just be the bacteria thats floating inside it. The whole room was falling apart with cupbored open and what appears to be the access for the whole hotel cleaning facilities. (Shame they forgot the pool) Quickly lost all hope and decided to go. Back to the changing rooms and go. The guests were all staring, as if they had not seen a clean person before. But what can be expected from a place where theres people doing cocain in the changing rooms. Based on the hotels theme of dirty dungeon id give 5 stars but overall this is 1 revolting place to go. I wiped my feet before i left.

Positive experience: My daughter does swimcats here and the facilities looks very good. But pricey for the size but I suppose as it's a "club membership" it makes it sound more fancy. The pool is very good and warn and everyone in there from customers to staff all seam very happy
