Fantastic experience: Thoroughly enjoyed my burger night takeaway meal from the Hub tonight. Delicious Halloumi fries and chilli tomato jam, amazing and tasty homemade smash beef burger, lovely jacket wedge chips and fresh crispy coleslaw. So full, but did manage a small sample of the malteser cheesecake which was a lovely light whipped topping sweet treat for dessert, I'm saving the rest for later. Really recommend this place. The food never disappoints and all the staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Today 10th August I have had the Moussaka for lunch, which was absolutely delicious. Tried to leave another review but not able to, so edited my older review. I really love the food here

Negative experience: Potato and Leek soup was tasteless and bread came pre-buttered with what appeared to be margarine. I was genuinely staggered at how bad it was. The fruited flapjack was excellent however, hence the two stars redeeming what would otherwise have been a zero star review.

Negative experience: Sorry not good , we went there due to the good reviews, but very disappointed bean's cold , bacon good quality but not cooked properly, cheap tasting sausage , snotty egg think an old fashioned greasy spoon would be better Wouldn't come again

Fantastic experience: Smart, slick and the coffee was pretty good and at a sensible price. The cakes looked good but I didn't try them. Ever since Liz Truss was in power coffee has gone up, chocolate too, I can't think why. But at £2.40 that's good compared to some places at £3.45.

Fantastic experience: We stopped here for brunch this weekend. There’s lots of parking next to the building and plenty of space inside. The menu has plenty of options for cakes and light lunches and prices are very reasonable. The tables are spaced and service was excellent, very helpful and efficient.

Fantastic experience: Such friendly, smiley, generous and courteous staff. Honestly, they are amazing! Lovely food, fast service, excellent prices, kid friendly and lovely space to eat. What a great family brunch!!!! If only we lived closer! Highly recommend! Oh...and so inclusive. All toilets with stepping stools and seats for children, and decent changing areas for babies. Refreshing!!

Fantastic experience: The Hub canteen at Mulberry Park serves pizzas that rival the pizza specialty restaurants in town, beautiful toppings oven baked excellent bases, high quality and served by lovely people. We also noticed that they are really good at training up young people on the till, serving customers and learning about the business. An excellent community enterprise.

Fantastic experience: Nice selection of cake and tea, great breakfast menu as well. Lots of indoor and outdoor seatings, friendly staff, low prices and enough space around the tables.

Fantastic experience: Delicious coffee, a nice variety of cakes, and a friendly atmosphere. What more more can you ask for from this vibrant community hub? There is even a small exchange library where you can pick up books to read and drop off the ones you want to share with the world. Also make sure to check the announcements board for fun community events happening in the hub and the wider Mulberry Park area.

Negative experience: If you like your coffee hot, this is not the place for you. This morning both latte and cappuccino barely warm. Sent back only to receive the latte still just warm. Third attempt was given a fresh latte which was hot. No apology. Very disappointing. Will not be going again.

Fantastic experience: the Food is good for the price. The service is touch and go where the staff either cant hear you ( I am not a quiet person!) Or cant remember the answer to the question they just asked (what would you like to drink? Etc) the situation is not helped by the screen they still have in place.

Fantastic experience: Very busy place, but well laid out, car parking can be an issue. The all day breakfast including a coffee is very good value bacon, egg, beans, hash brown toasted bread ,mushrooms and a sausage. The staff are very friendly and the food is served quite quickly.

Fantastic experience: There are excellent facilities in this 4 year old building. Range of function rooms on the first floor which are light, bright and modern. Ideal for various events and functions. The ground floor has very reasonably priced cafe and there are tables, chairs and umbrellas outside. Good parking at the door. The Hub is served by 2 different bus routes which go in to town and beyond. Friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic experience: We've been here afew time's for breakfast every Tuesday, but today was the best we've had and had to leave a review! The bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection, and sometimes the mushrooms are a bit cold, but today it was all really hot. Very delicious, really want to try a roast dinner here next!

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend The Hub, and Ashley the events manager, highly enough. I held my parents' wake there in Dec 2021, and it was absolutely fantastic. Ashley was so kind and helpful throughout the booking process, as well as being super efficient and organised, and helped me hold the event exactly as I wanted. So many guests remarked on how nice the room was. The facilities are great, the staff are great, nothing more to say!

Fantastic experience: The Hub Cafe is honestly a bit of a hidden gem. While it may not seem like much, tucked out of the way on a dead end road, it boasts and excellent selection of cakes, drinks and snacks, as well as lovely simple hot meals at excellent prices, prepared by delightfully friendly staff in an incredibly accessible location.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a resident of Mulberry Park as I live closer to Southdown but I stopped here with my friend and we thought the cafe was great. I'm glad to see it is open to people who don't live nearby! We enjoyed coffees and toasties here. Very COVID safe and a nice outside seating area. The host and the waitress were both lovely!

Fantastic experience: The staff were very kind, caring and respectful. The food was very tasty and they were very accommodating to my particular needs. The place is nice and relaxing with nice tables outside to sit in the sun. The food was very reasonably priced. We will come back.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a while now. Every member of staff I have met at the Hub cafe is always so friendly. The way you adapted very quickly during the first lockdown (as well as this one) to help the community, in particular providing groceries and a delivery service was so helpful. And once you were able to open again I have watched you cleaning tables and chairs between customers and you are so thorough. Plus my husband swears your flapjack is the best he’s ever tasted. I’m still enjoying your takeout coffee but looking forward to you being able to open up fully again

Fantastic experience: Pre-COVID it's a great place to escape for a bit, grab a coffee+bacon sandwich and work in the cafe for an hour. Have also used the meeting facilites there (paid for) with clients - especially useful because the Flower & Forrester close by offers accommodation where client stayed overnight. During lockdown the Hub has been amazing. Deliveries of fresh food and, this morning, a cheeky hot chocolate and pastries as a home-school treat.

Negative experience: Coffee was great, unfortunately it was probably the worst breakfast we've ever had, 4 people; 2 different types of vegetarian sausages which were dry and inedible, scrambled eggs were chopped up fried eggs. The fried eggs yolk were hard. Toast was rock solid. Bacon was overcooked also. Black pudding came out once we had finished our breakfast! Very very poor.
