Fantastic experience: I’ve been training trapeze with Genevieve at The Circus Glory for a few months, and it has genuinely transformed my life. Genevieve is an extraordinary instructor, meticulous in her teaching, patient, and incredibly skilled/talented. She has a remarkable ability to push me in exactly the right ways, helping me discover strength, confidence, and resilience I didn’t know I had. The progress I’ve made, both physically and mentally, feels nothing less than amazing. I’m truly grateful for her guidance, encouragement, and belief in me. Thanks to her, Fridays have become the day I look forward to the most. Thank you, Genevieve, for making this journey so inspiring.

Fantastic experience: I booked a one-off class just to try static trapeze for the first time, and it was hard but so much fun! Genevieve was so lovely and made me feel really comfortable and safe. The class was small and super welcoming, with people of all levels, which I loved. I ended up booking four more classes because I enjoyed it so much! Each week we tried new poses and little routines, and I could actually feel myself improving. Highly recommend giving it a go. I’ll definitely be back! :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training trapeze at Circus Glory for four years, and it’s an exceptional place with a welcoming atmosphere, professional rigging and a highly skilled instructor who teaches with precision and care. Classes are thoughtfully structured, focusing on strong foundations like beats, hangs, hocks-hang and body alignment before progressing into dynamic movements such as releases, drops and catches. What really sets it apart is the way technique, timing, momentum and form are clearly explained, helping students understand the mechanics behind each movement rather than just learning tricks. A fantastic school for anyone passionate about trapeze or aerial arts.

Fantastic experience: Circus Glory is a real gem of a circus training space! Having done aerial silks for several years I decided to try trapeze and chose Circus Glory purely because of proximity to where I live, and I have found the classes to be rewarding in a way which other circus classes I have taken have not been. The location is wonderful — a small and intimate space which allows you to be within sight of the teacher at all times, which makes for a safe environment. You feel like you're doing trapeze in the trees because of all the windows! As a teacher Geneviève perfectly balances seriousness and strictness with kindness and encouragement. You feel that she wants you to strive to be the best you can, yet you don't feel under pressure. She is extremely knowledgeable and in tune with all of her students' individual needs and levels, and you feel very safe in her hands. I have found the other students in the class kind and welcoming — everyone supports each other regardless of different levels within the class. Overall the atmosphere is one that makes me want to return even when I am not living just down the road! Definitely give this class a try if you are curious about circus arts.

Fantastic experience: I feel so lucky to have found Genevieve at Circus Glory! I moved to London recently and struggled to find a new trapeze class with a balance of serious professionalism and lighthearted fun. Genevieve's classes have both! Genevieve is very talented at identifying her students' strengths and challenges, and is able to meet everyone's individual needs while still making the whole class feel unified around some common elements. Aside from working hard we all cheer each other on and feel welcome to enjoy the camaraderie of circus! I am particularly grateful for Genevieve pushing me to take on an intimidating challenge of performing at a public party. She had such confidence in me that I believed in myself, and she helped me choreograph a routine that felt possible. She took a personal interest in following up about how it went and that meant a lot to me. I commute an hour each way to class because I love it so much, and every minute is worth it for the learning and fun I have at Circus Glory!

Fantastic experience: We had a family session with Genevieve and her 2 able assistants today. There were 20+ of us, ranging in age from 3 to 72. We all loved it and everyone spoke so highly of it. The instructions were clear, the exercises were well planned, with gradual increase in ability, till we were flying through the air or hanging upside down on trapeze bars. Genevieve gently encouraged us to rise to the challenge. Totally inspirational and could not recommend more highly.

Fantastic experience: I started my trapeze journey 2.5 years ago at Circus Glory. With absolutely no aerial experience and very little core & upper body strength, Genevieve pushed me, with her unique balance of kindness and authority, towards achieving much more than I could’ve imagined. I really mean it when I say there’s no better coach, for trapeze or really anything else.

Fantastic experience: I booked Genviève for a birthday celebration for my 30th. It was honesty such an amazing experience. We were all beginners but she made the whole experience fun! We were able to give everything a go and she allowed us to feel safe while doing so. Thank you for such an amazing time! We would defiantly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: Circus Glory is a great static trapeze school. Genevieve balance extremely well very robust technique with encouragement for creativity and artistry. I have trained at number of circus studios, but have improved most under Genevieve’s coaching. Coming back week after week!

Fantastic experience: Tres Bien Madamoiselle Genevieve

Negative experience: The class was challenging, hard but fun. The cold and rather distant teaching of Genevieve was a new style to my many years of training under various coaches but why not? Alwas looking for a challenge, I decided to sign up for the package of 4. Instructor and business owner Genevieve contacted me 2 days later telling me I was booked for the 4 Wednesdays in a row. I mentioned I ‘d probably be away for the last two and would have to reschedule. After a very brief exchange she asked my details to refund my payment claiming the package of 4 classes had to be redeemed within 5 weeks. A fact that was not written anywhere on her page at the time (she added it since). I was offered to top up my payments for non restricted class limit. When I fail to agree to that option because frankly I found it unfair, nowhere was it mentionned, the last solution Genevieve saw was a refund. She probably felt relieved not to have a mature beginner woman who needed help with climbing on the trapeze in her class. She should add a disclaimer on her page: “mature beginner women struggling to do the exercises not welcome”. Shame.

Fantastic experience: My daughter loved her birthday party with Circus Glory - as did her friends. Well organised, safe and a lot of fun.

Fantastic experience: My son Jack (4) has been coming to trapeze for a year now and he absolutely loves the classes and Genevieve. Unlike football or ballet there is no gender bias to trapeze. The children build up core strength and learn new skills. Best of all it is a lot of fun. Genevieve has a gift ,not only for trapeze and teaching but also working with people, children in particular.

Negative experience: I took my 3 year old to a class here and found the teacher lacking in early years teaching skills. My child was upset because she was shouting at the children and another child was extremely upset and not allowed to see their mum. Parents were not allowed to watch the class either and I would imagine for such a young age group this would be encouraged. It is a shame, because the class itself seemed to be set up well and was in a nice location. I would definitely not attend this again or advise parents to take their young children.

Fantastic experience: Great teacher! Our daughter loves the classes!

Fantastic experience: We attended the first week Circus Glory reopened. They had adhered to all government guidance to mitigate risks (thank you). The workshop was great with brilliant accommodation of varied level of fitness and ability (plus age). We all came out very excited and with a sense of accomplishment. Would highly recommend Circus Glory.

Fantastic experience: I was in London for a short trip and dropped in for a class. Wonderful instructor who appears to care greatly for safety and technique! Classes are small and very inviting.

Fantastic experience: Circus glory is a brilliant trapeze and aerial arts school. My kids have been attending since the age of 2 and a half and absolutely love it. They are now 9 and 7 years old. I was nervous to start it as an adult but really wanted too after watching my little ones do it. I finally plucked up the courage 4 years ago and have never looked back. Genevieve is an absolutely great teacher and technically the best I've had. It's always great fun and everyone is really encouraging as well. Would definitely highly recommend trying it out especially at CIRCUS GLORY!!!

Fantastic experience: Circus Glory is brilliant circus school run by Genevieve Monastesse. I attend static trapeze classes there. Not only are they enormous fun, they are also a great way to keep fit. Genevieve is a fantastic teacher with tremendous knowledge of aerial techniques. It's a very friendly place where everyone is made to feel welcome. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
