Fantastic experience: London Floatation Centre is a must-visit place for anybody i the area who is interested in relaxation, well-being & meditation. I was given the experience as a gift by a loved one and I loved every minute of it. I was especially impressed by Katerina, and her deep knowledge and sincere passion for the practice. If you are considering a float, I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: London Floatation Centre is a friendly, relaxing environment and, to my surprise, neurofeedback actually works. Since I started these sessions a few months ago, I've found that when a distressing (and pointless) thought pops up, rather than wallowing in it, my brain puts the thought aside. It's remarkable.

Fantastic experience: I booked for 7:30PM. My first floating experience was great! Took a little while to get used to it, but eventually I managed to stay still while floating. You have enough time to enjoy the whole experience so not to worry. Also, the massage by Angel was amazing! She did everything I needed without me asking, included a tummy massage I really liked! She's a fun and knowledgeable person to talk to as well. The premises is clean and safe. Of course, the water in the pod was clean and warm enough not to feel cold. It even smelt nice and clean :) Towels, a shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, earplugs and tissues are in the floating room. You can also bring your own toiletries if you wish. A hairdryer and other stuff are just outside the room. Everything was great and went well today. Thank you eveyone, I look forward to going back again!

Negative experience: I went for a Thai massage today and has never in my life being so disgusted. On the floor there was hair, trails of food, it looked messy and unclean. I tried to tie my hair with a band but the lady stopped me a couple of times. I had a business meeting after the massage and I ended up with dripping oil from my body and hair. I do not understand why she showered me with that oil and I ended up spit on my face while she was telling the story of her life during the entire massage session. Honestly, it was disgusting

Fantastic experience: Came here with a friend for 1-hour floatation therapy. Awesome experience! I literally felt amazing during and after the therapy. Just like lying in the Dead Sea. Or I guess one could compare it to being inside a mother's womb (not that I remember how it felt being inside my mother's one! :P). The receptionist was kind and explained us how everything works, safety, etc. We both enjoyed the experience and most certainly I will be back.

Fantastic experience: This center is perfect for those looking to relax and disconnect from the outside world. The staff is friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain the entire flotation process to new clients. The environment of the flotation pods is impressive. They are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Soft music and dim lighting help to create a calm and peaceful atmosphere. My experience floating in the pods was impressive. I felt completely isolated from the outside world and was able to immerse myself in a state of deep meditation. Additionally, it helped my body recover after intense physical activity. As an athlete, I have experienced the benefits of floating in salt water for muscle recovery, and I have found the perfect place to do so at this center. I will definitely be returning for my next flotation session.‍♀️‍♀️

Fantastic experience: It was my first floating experience and I didn’t know what to expect. It lasted an hour and at first it was weird staying by yourself in an enclosed space but then I let it go and just let it flow and myself float. It was quite a liberating and pleasant experience. And afterwards I felt as light as a feather and at peace, it carried over too. Thank you very much!

Fantastic experience: We came to this spa as a family, a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. At reception there was a very pleasant lady who gave us details about all the treatments in the spa. We really enjoyed the neuro-optimal session, the swimming in the capsule and the massage. After these sessions we had a lightness in body and mind, as well as a good mood for a few days. We definitely want to return to this spa again.

Fantastic experience: It was a gift and what a gift it was! The experience of zero gravity, lightness and also feeling so warm and cozy on a cold winter day in London! Next best thing after the Dead Sea. My inner child was SO happy. I loved this first experience so much, that I got a bunch of certificates on their winter sale - to give as gifts and pamper myself

Negative experience: Mediocre - this is the third time I visited and now I have a fully formed opinion that the place is mediocre at best. To me the biggest issue is the cleanliness. This might partly come down to the fact that the place looks a little tired or not invested in. But also, the pod has black mould on the inside and this is a matter of cleaning only. I actually rubbed it and with some brushing this would come off. For a place that sells such service to not prioritise this and watch dirt and mould build up, is beyond me. I know that in previous reviews it is said that you take cleanliness seriously but if this was truly the case, black mould would not set in the first place. It looks awful. The other thing I need to mention is the receptionist. Yes, he does the job but pleasant customer service is not like this really. Sorry, had to say it. No warmth or helpfulness whatsoever and again this is not a one-off experience. Overall it just feels like the place is being run on the cheap and is deteriorating every time. So I think this is the last time I visited.

Positive experience: Visited a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the experience. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly and able to inform me of the benefits. It was very relaxing although I wished the ocean sounds were for the whole experience. Could do with a clean as someone else’s hair was still in my tank but I’ll definitely revisit. Top tip: don’t go if you have any cuts on your body! It stings!

Gareth and team were incredibly helpful and accommodating when I needed to move appointment. Sad that I won’t be able to keep using them as moving away from this area.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rate this place and the experience higher. I am new to floatation therapy but have been back to the London Floatation Clinic several times in a short period now. The staff here are exceptional kind, knowledgeable and caring. They take the time to really provide aftercare and also explain everything really well beforehand. The atmosphere is serene and soothing, great effort has been made on this front. As for the float experience, I found it incredible. It took me a while to acclimatise to the new sensation but when I did, it was massively impactful on my well-being, in the best possible ways. 5 stars out of 5, all the way!

Fantastic experience: It was my first floating experience and it was more than I expected. I always have tension on my body but while I was floating, I felt empty, very calm, and my body relaxed. After flotation, I had a massage, the combination was so good. I really had a nice time and will have another one soon.

Fantastic experience: It is a very nice center, and extremely friendly lady helped us in the beginning. Clean. The floatation itself (firs time) was not 100% my favorite, but at least I gave a try. I loved the water but felt a bit claustrophobic inside the capsule. And air was heavy, hard to breath. But I'm sure it is good to try and lots of people love it - and this is a good place for that.

Fantastic experience: This centre feels so intimate and homey! My first floating experience at the London Floatation Centre was lovely. The staff is super nice. The massage therapists are charming, friendly and professional. Floatation takes a little bit of practice and willingness. Our minds are overstimulated everyday and taking some time for some quietness and relaxation for the first time, it's unusual for what our brain is used to. Some first timers could find the idea of being by themselves in the ''nothingness'' a bit scary. But then, it is not scary at all.(at leats for me) It gives me more a sense of being in an infinite space rather than being in a restricted environment. Just like meditation, everything takes a little bit of practice and a couple of sessions to get the full benefits. At the beginning of your session, you are explained what to do before and after the session and how you will know the session starts and finishes. In my first time, it was difficult to relax, but at some point I simply relaxed and focused on my breath. It was as if I forgot about my body for a bit!. In other times, I was just exploring my mind in the nothingness and it was as if time was non-existent. People experience it differently and the best thing to do is to talk about it with other floaters! I am an arts student and having sometime to explore my mind gives me more clarity. Allow yourself some time. It is the best self-love gift you can have or you can give to someone you love.

Fantastic experience: all I can say is WOW! what an experience... As a business owner in London I have been going through a lot of tasks and stress and one of my friends recommended LFC to me and I tried it a month ago and I must say it was one of the most relaxing and detoxifying things I've ever done in my life! The whole experience takes you to a whole different dimension, while you float you really realise your body relaxing and getting a proper cleanse. I have already booked my next appointment and I'm also quite intrigued to know more about LFC's other services. Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable and professional in their fields. Fantastic experience: Went for the floatation experience (first one). I absolutely loved it. The space is clean, instructions are clear, staff is super nice and helpful! As much as one has practiced other relaxing experiences (more common spa ones) and meditation etc... the experience is completely unique! I cannot compare anything to it (sensory deprivation is something we rarely, if ever, truly experience) and the chance to turn off the whole world around was very special - and very much needed! Highly recommend - even if you're visiting London, make this one of the things you schedule for a good relaxation moment. You'll love it! Thank you to the lovely staff!

Negative experience: Acceptable facilities but appalling communication regarding the terrible situation with their landlords and parking facilities company. I suggest seeking out a Floatworks site instead.

Fantastic experience: I tried Floatation Therapy and NeurOptimal for thr first time yesterday and it’s been such an amazing experience. I felt totally relaxed once left at the end of my two sessions. Everything is spotless clean, customer service was above and beyond expectations and I really felt “at home”. I’ll definitely come back soon!

Fantastic experience: I went there with my partner. It was my second float and his was first. The lady at reception was friendly and explained everything we needed to know and pointed out anything we migt need to enhance the experience like ear plugs. This time, I found myself more relaxed than the first time. There is also the option to switch off the light and have a completely dark, warm and soundless experience but I wasn't brave yet! I floated with the dim relaxing light while my partner went full dark mode. A very nice, relaxing experience and will definitely go again! :)

Fantastic experience: Everyone should definitely try out a session at the floatation centre. It feels like swimming in the dead sea and the sensory deprivation helps you to meditate and calm your mind. I slept in the tank for about 20 minutes and woke up feeling refreshed. It is a great way for you to relax your mind and body!

Fantastic experience: I had the most pleasant experience in the Floatation Centre. I surprised my wife with a 1-hour floatation + deep massage and we were absolutely relaxing after those 2 + hours. Not only the experience of the flotation is unique and meaningful, but the massage therapy was thorough and professional. Sui's hands were magical. Absolutely worth the investment and we will definitely come back.

Fantastic experience: My first floatation session and it was a great experience at this centre. Very relaxing, the salt makes the water feel silky like a film on the body. It also has a detox effect, as the high concentration salt solution cleanses the skin. I drank lots of water to re-hydrate and was slightly tired the next day, a good sign of how relaxing the whole experience was. Whilst floating, I lost track of time (the super friendly staff will always keep you safe, though, in any case). The London Floatation Centre is very professionally run, it's super clean, the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. As a first time experience of floatation, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Positive experience: Float and massage were good. But i was a bit disappointed with the management. I left my swimsuit a few days ago and immediately wrote them to ask if I could come back later in the week to retrieve it. When I went back they couldn’t find it, receptionist isn’t even here just the masseuse who doesn’t know where it is. They assured me I could come by whenever to get it but i waited twenty minutes and had to go back later, which was really inconvenient. Just a bit annoying

I have booked this for my uncle and he absolutely loved the entire experience.The staff are very knowledgeable and very helpful. they assisted my uncle in all of his question. Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my time there (also first time ever in a floatation pod). I wanted the full experience so I spent my time basically in total darkness. Quite an experience. Spending an hour in total darkness, floating in a salty warm water makes you basically forget you have a body and your mind wanders wherever you want it to. Above all the idea you can get a little peace of mind right in the middle of London madness is what got me interested. Not so sure about things like "therapy" and "relaxation". But I am sure this is an experience like no other. Enjoy it.

Negative experience: This is specifically about massage, not flotation experience (which I did at a different location and it’s fab!). The massage included an extensive head massage (which I didn’t ask for), which resulted with some sort of oil in my hair. I washed my hair twice now and it still looks greasy and heavy. Pretty average massage as well unfortunately.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! I had a 60min floatation session and it was one of the most relaxing experiences in my life. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and floating helped me to relieve the muscle pain, especially the lower back pain. After the session I felt like a newborn :) The place is cozy and the staff make you feel like at home. I was also fortunate enough to meet the owner who is very passionate and knowledge. I will definitely be back again soon and I couldn't recommend this place more!

Positive experience: Its no Floatworks! a little clinical and not very inviting. The float did the trick though but Floatworks are much more prefered.

Fantastic experience: Been floating 3 times now and I can say that all times have been great. The facilities and the actual tank were a great experience, what you do with it it's up to each individual. Negative experience: Great location near South Quay DRL. If you want to experience deeper state of relaxation, gain insights or just to close yourself in a warm salthy bath, have silence and be with yourself I recommend this centre. Premises are clean, lovely staff, fresh towel, all you need is there. You just breathe and relax! However, I had one payed float on my account, for my next London visit, and nobody informed me that it's valid only for one year, nor that expiration is close. No, message or email, nothing. So, it was not available, neither I could offer it as a gift to a friend in London. A bit disappointing, they could inform me.

Positive experience: Based on the amount of good reviews, I'm assuming it's just me and my partner, but this wasn't the best of experiences. My partner didn't like being enclosed for so long and I actually found the experience a little boring. I couldn't help, but spin in circles to let the time go by. They do put effort in with the relaxing sounds and the floating itself is probably very cool for some of you haven't experienced this kind of thing before, but I just couldn't get into it. Otherwise, I was able to park there for free which was good, but the decor could use a little work as it also looked a bit messy around. It's worth a shot, but I'd probably opt for an actual massage next time.

Fantastic experience: The perfect way to unwind. My wife arranged this as part of a birthday weekend and it was a wonderful experience. Polite and helpful staff and the flotation experience was ultra relaxing. Two rooms so my wife and I floated at the same time, in the room is a shower and a seat in addition to the tank. Would highly recommend. On site parking is limited but very handy.

Fantastic experience: I have had a lot of negative experiences of Floatation Centres over 34 years. I got to the point I could not bear to try another one, until my son bought me a session for Mother's Day. I was loath to go, but I forced myself today to make an effort. Yes, this is the first Flotation Centre where the water is warm (usually I am uncomfortably cold). The tanks are spacious with security etc. You have your own lovely room and shower. The smells throughout the centre were lovely. I cannot fault it. My skin is glowing. My hair and scalp feel amazing, Great experience to be repeated again and again!!!!

We have been going to London Floatation Centre every month for the past 8 months. Great facilities, great prices, friendly, easy going staff, happy to discuss and fix any issues. Fantastic experience: I recently tried a floatation therapy for the first time in my life. It was even more enjoyable than I expected. Your body just floats naturally due to the saltness of the water which makes you more relaxed than in the normal bath. The tank is huge which is very impressive, there is so much room inside you can spread your whole body and enjoy the relaxation. On top of that, the atmosphere is very therapeutic. The lights and the soothing sounds really help you drift away. You should definitely try this experience, especially If you are a fan of a bath, meditation and yoga or if you just want to relax your body after an arduous day.

Fantastic experience: 1st time floater. Had to re-schedule my appointment this week as the showers ended up breaking out of the blue. Was told by phone that this was a totally unforeseen circumstance and I would be compensated by extra time on my re-scheduled float which was honoured. The receptionist, Dominque, was very warm and friendly and immediately made me feel very welcome. It took some time for me to fully immerse myself into the full float experience but when I did i felt totally relaxed and calm at the end of it. Only slight negatives were the salt got into my eyes a few times so wearing googles would have been handy although they do have a water spray handy which you can use to clean your eyes. Also, at times the humidity level was uncomfortable for me so i had to lift the pod door a few times. Overall, came out of it feeling amazing and will look to go back for round two!
