HomeWork Southfields, Flexible Workspace & Café

Negative experience: Haven’t been yet for co-working, just went in for a coffee (as advertised outside). It was miniature and burnt, for a price of GBP 4.10! Won’t do that again. Will try the co-working soon though! Let’s see :)

Negative experience: Absolute shocker of an experience. I had a complimentary 20 cups of coffee card that was bought locally at a Xmas fair. I went in there with it. Stood there for 10 mins . No service. I left for Cafe Nerro. Ok, I thought they were busy. I wasn't impressed but let's try again.... So I go in there again the next day. Reception person turns around as if I am some kind of intruder. "Can i help you." Er. Yes. I have a coffee card. "Its' only for coffees" she says. Yes. But actually I am allowed 30 mins of WIFI at the front with my laptop. She didn't want to say that! I had to find it out. Why so guarded? I am treated like one of those who want to use the coffee space WIFI for hours without paying. In fact, she said they actually get a lot of people doing that or words to that affect. Coffee criminal. I was branded with dodgy person disease. You couldn't make this up. A non-apology ensues and then I am given one of my drinks. They still don't give me the password for my 30 minutes, so I awkwardly knock back the cappuccino and leave. (There's obviously no public WIFI, but any business worth its salt would have tried to calm the situation with a sorry sir, but by all means stay for an hour and here's the password.... What I said about presenting their business in a better way than this probably fell on deaf ears. Unbelievable. There's a review on here by a guy who says he was made to feel like he had two heads and that the staff had an attitude. He knows what he's talking about. I have worked in this space before and gave them significant business. It was so friendly. What happened?

Fantastic experience: Good place to work, all the functions of an office; copying, meeting space, cubicles for calls, good internet and coffee of course. Better than 2 hours commuting !

Positive experience: The coworking space itself is fine, but the meeting rooms are entirely inadequate for all-day bookings. The basement meeting room for 6 we rented was tiny and had no ventilation or AC, so in late September we struggled with the heat and lack of fresh air. They also took away the available filter coffee at some point recently, which feels like a cheap move.

Negative experience: I just had been to this place for a quick stop for a coffee before my meetings, I had asked for a oat latte, the lady was ready to give me a to go one, politely I asked for a regular mug since I would stay in. Surprisingly they hand me black plastic cup dirty and not appropriate for coffee with no handle the worst plastic. I had been working for the administration for the championship so busy and meetings in between I wished I could have a pleasant experience. The place is clean and nice great location people just to have awareness of how to serve a simple coffee.

Fantastic experience: Excellent workspace - very clean, aircon’d and uncrowded (surprisingly during Wimbledon championships!) nice kitchen area and pods to take calls with more privacy! Also felt v v v reasonably priced £4 per hour. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: As a freelance consultant working from home can get boring and be unproductive. Homework has a great feel about it. My productivity has increased since I've been working there and I've made some new friends too. It's also very reasonably priced compared to some work spaces in London! And the coffee is fabulous! As is Emily

Negative experience: Went in to try to use the facilities, 2 ladies sat at the desk and both looked at me like I had 2 heads when I asked what I needed to do to use the space. They then both carried on sitting there, on their phones with the worst attitude. In the end I walked out. Disappointing and I can't see this business surviving if that is how you treat people. I won't go back. Went and Sat in Nero with some headphones and took my call instead :(

Fantastic experience: HomeWork Workspace Southfields is a fantastic co-working spot with a modern, cozy atmosphere. The space is well-designed with plenty of natural light, comfortable seating, and great amenities, including private offices, meeting rooms, and phone booths. The on-site café serves excellent coffee and snacks, and the friendly staff contribute to a welcoming community. Perfect for remote work or meetings, it strikes a great balance between productivity and comfort. Highly recommended!

She’s super friendly and makes some of the best coffee around. Her banter is off the chain, she always knows how to make a chat fun and keep the vibes positive. Caroline is just as amazing. She’s got a great personality and is always on the ball, making sure everyone feels welcome and well taken care of. Together, Emily and Caroline make a brilliant team that really elevates the whole HomeWork experience. The atmosphere at HomeWork Southfields is cosy and perfect whether you’re looking to get some work done or just relax with a coffee. With their stellar service, delicious coffee, and enjoyable conversations, it’s definitely one of my favourite spots in Southfields. If you’re after a place with friendly staff and a great environment, I highly recommend popping into HomeWork Southfields. Big thanks to Emily and Caroline for always making my visits so enjoyable!

Fantastic experience: As a remote worker this is the best place I have found to work regularly. There is plenty of space, yummy coffee, great atmosphere and genuine friendly staff (Emily and Caroline) who always make me feel welcome. It’s a home away from home.

Fantastic experience: The team here are really lovely and the space is bright, quiet and very friendly. Having such great coffee on tap is a huge bonus, as is the fitness studio and showers.

Negative experience: Visited the cafe to get some work done for an hour. Upon arrival, discovered it was £5 per hour for workspace, inclusive of coffee and tea. Despite this, encountered a hurried tour with minimal guidance, lack of information about amenities such as toilets, and somewhat standoffish reception staff. Limited charging outlets were available, and many spaces were already reserved. Disappointingly, only loose leaf tea or decaf tea bags were provided (and no tea pots), with no filter coffee available. Instructed to go downstairs for coffee, but the brief tour left me unaware of its location. Once downstairs , I found that the coffee there had also run out. Overall, experienced poor service and will not be revisiting.

Fantastic experience: This co-working place has a real community vibe to it, and a great place to work without distractions (sudoku aside). The front desk team sets the tone brilliantly - friendly, welcoming, smart and professional.

Negative experience: I have been renting a desk in this establishment for more than 1 year and today after 2 yrs I have been chased to pay an invoice of £20 which I was not aware of. It sounded a bit ridiculous to me. I have also checked in my personal area and there is no possibility to delete my account which is a breach of privacy policies where customers should be able to delete their own data including cards payments etc...it was scary to be called after 2yrs for such a ridiculous amount and knowing that they still hold all my bank details. Having uncleared bills for 2yrs shows the business has serious issues in the finance area, which should not let such time pass by. Having technical issues with and not being in control to resolve them, hence contact an external platform provider, also shows that customer's data are not safe.

Negative experience: Went in and asked if my 9 year old could use the toilet. Told sorry, they're not public toilets. Clarified that it's a child who needs the loo, same answer. Went to the pizza place next door, who's toilets are also not for the public- but at least their staff have common sense. I do remote work, but wouldn't use this place simply for their lack of discretion.

Fantastic experience: If there was a list of places where I have an extremely soft spot for, Homework Southfields would definitely be on that list, and it'd be among the top of that list! It's a really cozy and spacious place for you to do work(outside home!!), and they do serve refreshments such as bread, cake, coffee and tea which are quite palatable. And of course, I can't end this review without telling y'all about how lovely the staff there are, simply wonderful people that I've become very fond of. So instead of saying the cheesy "I'll definitely come back" one-liner as I've already done so numerous times, I'm gonna keep coming here as I've been doing so in the 2 months before!!

Fantastic experience: I have been making use of HomeWork Southfields for over a year now whenever I need a remote desk. I love working there and the team running the space are just lovely and so professional. A real bonus is the brilliant coffee they make :). I highly recommend HomeWork Southfields.

Negative experience: Really terrible experience there this week, which is a shame because I've used desk space there before and it was really good. It's basically only a workspace if you pay to go into the back. I had an hours work to do on Monday and thought I would nip in for a coffee and work from the cafe. I ordered a coffee, sat down and opened my laptop and the girl with glasses came over and VERY RUDELY told me there's a 'no laptop in the cafe area rule' I explained I had ordered a coffee and would be there a max of 1 hour and the message was simply repeated to me, SO rude. Another girl next to me had been told the same thing and we were both so confused as to WHY it's called Workspace if you aren't allowed to work there even after spending money in the establishment. Avoid and go to Dropshot a few doors down - much friendlier and no ridiculous laptop rule!

Positive experience: Really nice venue with a cool cafe. I do think however a few things should be supplied free in these places eg: hot water on demand, sparking & spring water (bottled or tap), printing (say 10 pages), monitors as standard. Because without these, it falls short of an actual office space. Bump up the daily rates in need.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful place! I needed a place to work for half a day on a Friday and it was just perfect for that and compared to overpriced bigger names it is not only a great place but it is very affordable as well. Staff is very friendly as well. Definitely recommend.

Positive experience: I had an unlucky start here. Chair in booth broken, and very uncomfortable and WiFi was weak. Had to ask for a new password. It's very busy so others were happier than me.

Great sense of community, delicious herbal teas, doggies welcome and a well thought-out space with break-out areas and phone booths for zoom calls etc. I knuckled down to some really boring work - which was almost overdue - so happily giving your place the thumbs-up! I'll be back!

Incredibly easy and fast registration, excellent wifi, good value for money, they have monitors to rent to make work more productive. Very friendly staff. There are clearly a vast number of regulars and I understand why. For me, when working from home is not an option, this will be my default option.

Positive experience: I really like the concept. It’s easy to be productive here, there are quiet corners, fast wifi, everything works. The best thing is that no membership fee is necessary, which is perfect for adhoc teleworkers. The only minus point are toilet facilities: I only found one toilet , mixed for men and women, in the whole place, and it was not exceptionally clean.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities with plenty of desk space and functional rooms. Tea and Coffee free and available for all. It worked great for me who just needs to squeeze in a few hours here and there. Very friendly and welcoming staff too.
