Fantastic experience: Marion is fantastic at her work. The treatment is second to none. She's very good at explaining why specific problems occur and how to avoid specific reoccurring injuries. I've had a painful hip and back and her treatment has been excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've never in my life needed physiotherapy. However back a few months ago I was involved in a car crash and needed help to get back to my normal self. Braden looked after me every week and I was looking forward to every session. Really miss going to even just have a chat and talk about music, football and obviously getting me back fit. If I ever need physiotherapy I will be back without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Came here last week, I booked last minute for my first time having a physio appointment for a painful hip from marathon training and I saw Tia who was great! She put my mind at ease , was very thorough and showed me exercises to do at home/gym to strengthen my glutes which was causing my hip pain, she also did some glute release and gave me great advice, I’m so happy as now my pain has completely gone and I feel a lot more confident continuing with my training. Fantastic experience: I took my Mum who is 86 with Alzheimer's into G4 Physio while she was awaiting NHS physio to keep her strength up. She saw Ruairi and Jess on a number of occasions and they couldn't have been more kind, patient, understanding and imaginative in the exercises they were giving her to help her to understand what to do. It's improved her mobility and wellbeing and I'd highly recommend them. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Been here twice now, once earlier on in the year with a physio called Lucy I believe and the 2nd time I came in was today with a lady called Chloe. Both times I had a great experience, very polite and professional and really explained the injuries I had in depth and was very helpful with the aftercare plan ie exercises to do, when to do it, how long for etc. And I also had a massage as well to relieve some of the pain and inflammation I was suffering due to the injuries I had sustained. Fantastic experience: This review soley refers to a g4 practitioner, Marion. I cannot praise her skills enough. Having had massages here before I wasn't expecting a huge amount but Marion is on a different level all together. She approached dealing with my neck and back pain in a holistic, way finding points in my arms and lower back (that I never knew exsited) that directly effected the issue areas in my neck. A naturally intuative practitioner, she offers a standard far above the norm. I highly recommend her if you feel you have tried everything and have resigned yourself to a life of painkillers. There is hope!

Fantastic experience: 20/08/2024 Once again Glyn intervened to sort out this mis-understanding. This shows that this practice cares about its customers and will do the the best they can to help and support them through their clinical needs. Hence the overall outcome is 5 because Glyn dealt with this very professionally. You only get to know a business properly when you find out how they act when you have a problem. Thanks Glyn 17/08/24 - I thought I would give G4 physio ago again, after my other local physio closed down. My first set of appointments was booked by "Phoebe" Hope I spelt her name correctly. She was wonderful, she sorted my all my appointments out. Then just today the other receptionist "Katie B" was not very helpful and over-ruled all of Phoebe's appointments. Hence a very poor customer experience from Katie B. I had nearly £1000 worth of appointments potentially booked over the next 3-4 months. Hence downgrading my rating due to customer experience of the other receptionist. ------------------------------------------------- Previous Experience : Had a small issue with timings not the actual treatment however G4 manager rang back sorted out things Hence giving 5 stars for customer service and caring for the well being of clients.

Fantastic experience: I've just finished treatment on my shoulder with Glyn and I'm so grateful for his support over the past few weeks. During the treatment he's been nothing but fantastic with advice let alone the treatment. I couldn't recommend Glyn or the team at G4 more, we're lucky to have such a great physio locally!

Fantastic experience: G4 is an excellent physiotherapy centre with lots of friendly and helpful staff. I have seen a few different members of staff for sports massages, all of which were really friendly and helpful but when I injured my lower back I started to see Ellie to help rehab the injury. She was incredibly helpful and friendly in every session and her overall advice and guidance was brilliant. Despite it naturally being a long process Ellie helped me throughout providing exercises to do and helpful ways to remember how to do them correctly that really stuck with me. She kept me disciplined but also motivated to carry on and do the exercises required to get back to where I wanted to be. Her guidance and knowledge gave me the confidence to get back into doing the exercises I had missed doing. I highly recommend G4 as a place for any physiotherapy needs but Ellie in particular for any injury rehab.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Megan yesterday to talk about my recurring back pain that has left me barely able to walk. Megan was so helpful, gave me a bit of a massage and some acupuncture and gave me some stretches to do at home to help my back and avoid issues in the future. My back felt so much better this morning and I am so so thankful for Megan’s help. I have never had any private healthcare before, so was slightly apprehensive about paying the money for an appointment, however, it turned out to be well worth it! Would recommend to anyone. Will be returning to get a sports massage in the future! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I have visited G4 over the last year for two unrelated injuries, both of which they were incredibly helpful with. More recently I saw Megan after suffering with a bad lower back for over a month. I couldn't stand/walk straight many days during that time. She gave me a massage of the area and taught me some stretches to help. After 1-2 weeks of doing the stretches, not only did the injury get better but my back felt better than it did before the injury! A lot of the soreness/stiffness I get from having worked at a desk for many years is gone. I visited Megan again 2-weeks later and she gave me some additional exercises to strengthen and prevent further injury. Not only is she very knowledgeable but she clearly took notice of the things I told her in the first appointment, identified my body's weaknesses and selected exercises specifically to help me with these things. This is a great place with first class physios. I'll definitely be back for any future injuries.

Positive experience: The staff was knowledgeable. However, my time was cut short by 15 mins. I tried to reason with them however was informed that the physio time included 15 mins for the physio to write his notes. Sadly I would have loved to continue with this place but this experience left a bitter taste. Addendum: Hello Glyn I went to G4 in 11 July 22. It was also not the initial session that was on July 2nd. I emailed G4 directly as per the contact details provided to see what solution they can offer. Addendum 2: no reply from G4 aside from asking me why did I not raise my concern earlier.

Negative experience: Do not get your ultrasound done here. The two women that did my ultrasound were incredibly rude. Very forceful and the bed looked dirty (makeup stains). After the internal ultrasound, they wanted me to use the tissue from the dirty bed to wipe myself, I said absolutely not. Give me some fresh tissue. They did not speak to me, were incredibly dismissive and didn’t even tell me when I could leave. They were discussing the findings of the ultrasound as if I wasn’t even there. This is the second ultrasound I’ve had and to be honest, I’m surprised the CQC hasn’t shut this place down. I will be reporting this practice asap. They didn’t even give me somewhere to change, I had to basically get naked in front of everyone. Where is the dignity in that? Absolutely ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Just been to see Nicole (a fully qualified sports rehabilitation practitioner and physio) for a 30 minute consultancy for sciatic nerve pain that was crippling me and OMG she performed wonders! Slight pain now but I have use of both legs again! She gave advice and explanation on how it probably occurred and what was happening in my body to cause the sciatic pain. She deep massaged the area and gave me exercises to do at home.. brilliant. Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks Nicole.

Fantastic experience: Over the past few months, I’ve been having regular sports rehabilitation sessions with Ellie and she’s been brilliant! Came to G4, 7 months post ankle break/surgery - with the aim to get back running and playing football. Ellie’s great work in setting out a thorough program for me, with set progress checkpoints along the way, making sure the small increments of improvement didn’t go unnoticed. Really helped me to stay positive and trust the process to get back to where I wanted to be. I managed to reach my goal of participating in the Great Manchester Run end of May and following this into June, I’m now back playing football after 10 months out. Highly recommend G4 and Ellie in particular if you’re struggling with any sort of injury - they’ll get you back in no time!!

Fantastic experience: Went this morning I had mixed up my appointment time I explained and they were so nice they got me in. Carnt speak highly enough staff were wonderful and so helpful would definitely recommend G4 Physio.

Fantastic experience: I had a lower back injury which wasn’t getting better after a few weeks, so I went and saw a physio here. The lady was nice and knowledgable and gave me some tips on exercises I can do and she gave me a long deep tissue massage around the area that was injured. The massage helped quite a lot and after 2 1/2 weeks of following the advise, my back pain is pretty much gone now. I’m very happy with the service and will visit again if I have any more muscle pain in the future.

Fantastic experience: Had my first ever sports massage today. Never had one before so I didn't know what to expect, it was painful but it was a good pain. She asked me at the end do I feel better, and I said not really...lol, but 30-45mins later I feel great, thanks Chloe! :) I would recommend going if you're on the fence about it, easy book online, turn up, sign some stuff, done.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming often and get a sports massage done by Ellie. Ellie is very professional and has put in a tremendous amount of work in restoring my sore calves which has allowed me to enjoy my physical job more, as well as my hiking activities. I would highly recommend g4 and especially Ellie to anyone looking to book.

Positive experience: I’ve been running for a couple of years now and g4 are always so helpful with any injury. The physios are really knowledgeable and there’s always appointments available after work.

Fantastic experience: First time, had a sports massage...which holy hell hurt! but......in the best ..she knew what she was doing and we had a decent conversation during it. Place was clean, welcoming, felt safe and would highly recommend. The soreness after is totally normal and now I know what a knot is I will take more care of my body. Thanks again to tthe team at g4.

Fantastic experience: I’ve used G4 Physios for years now and they’ve never disappointed but having just completed 9 sessions following an RTA, I felt the need to leave a review. Dave, the physio who treated me is clearly hugely knowledgeable and also trained to employ Dry Needling as a treatment method…. It’s basically acupuncture with a scientific foundation rather than more traditional beliefs surrounding energy flow and pressure points… and it works!? One session on my neck and traps had a profound effect on my symptoms - an almost instant improvement that continued after each treatment. I’m sure Dry Needling isn’t a viable treatment for everything but if you’re offered it and aren’t terrified of needles (there’s no pain), go for it! You won’t regret it. I can’t recommend G4 and Dave enough. My symptoms are gone, my body feels great and my treatment plan has been brilliantly managed by Dave and the wider G4 team. If you’re injured and need treatment, you’ll struggle to do better than G4.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Lumbi for a couple of months and every session I come out feeling better or more comfortable. Adaptable session plans, very knowledgable and effective treatment. I'll continue to see Lumbi for the foreseeable future and can't recommend the clinic enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been to a number of therapists, physios and chiros over the past few years and coming from the health and wellness industry its difficult to find a professional that actually cares to listen to their client and acts upon their symptoms with accurate therapy and precision. I went to the G4 clinic in Didsbury today and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the place is, how friendly the staff where and penultimately how great the treatment was. I'd highly recommend Alison, especially for a sports massage, as she has great technique, pressure and accuracy. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I visited G4 Physio with an undiagnosed injury with my knee. The physio went through numerous tests and give his opinion of my injury at which a scan confirmed his diagnosis. Brilliant service throughout and couldn’t fault the knowledge. Acupuncture and recovery exercises were also provided and have helped me with my rehab. Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: I went to G4 physio with some discomfort in my back when running. They were very professional, ran through some strengthening exercises and made custom insoles for me. Over the last few months I've continued to follow the strengthening regime and use the insoles whenever I run which has resolved my issue. I would definitely recommend G4 physio!

Negative experience: Very poor professionalism and service delivery. I work in the NHS and feel completely let down. Paid for an hour treatment and barely got ten minutes of 'hands-on' as the physio was too busy looking at his iPad. Eventually we agreed verbally, after he arrived 10mins late for the appointment, that after 30mins of the session from the 60mins I paid for that we would leave the other 30mins for my future use. When I confirmed this by email after he left he denied this and claimed to have delivered 45minutes which is sadly untrue. Very disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say a big thank you to G4 for helping me with physio over the last few months - I have been a client of Imogen and she's made the world of difference. Kind, supportive and very knowleable - we worked on a programme to help get my neck, back and shoulders moving after my diagnosis of cervical spondylosis. I'd had some physio through the NHS but it did zero to help me. My neck and shoulders are so much better and I've managed to regain full mobility. I'd definitely recommend their services to anyone. Very reasonable too.

Fantastic experience: I had so much tension and pain in my back as I workout a lot. After a deep tissue back massage with Olga, my back feels relieved, don’t feel those painful knots anymore. Olga has also shared some advice about how to strengthen my back & neck. It’s been great, I’ve decided to come regularly, highly recommend this centre.

Fantastic experience: I had a sports/deep tissue with Imogen at G4 physio recently, and it was excellent. From the moment I got in the door I was met with friendliness and professionalism. The massage itself was great, as a PT I can end up really tight especially in my hamstrings and mid back. Imogen was able to release a lot of the knots and tension I had in those areas. She was highly knowledgeable and delivered an excellent service. Would definitely go back and highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend G4 highly enough. Since beginning my running journey 6 year's ago I have conquered many running challenges. 5k, 10k and half marathons. A couple of years ago I had tendonitis in my hip. My consultants answer was, if it hurts stop doing it! G4's was to get me moving and enjoying life again. So, this year I've completed 3 halves! The last two one week after the other! Throughout my training Charlotte T has helped me,motivated me,put me back together and advised me on how I can progress. She's an absolute star. Fantastic experience: Glyn Forshaw and his team of therapists at G4 Phyiotherapy & Fitness are miracle workers. From struggling to walk with a long standing lower back problem, they had me back to full fitness over a short period of time with an intensive course of physiotherapy and sports massage, so that I am now competing in ultra marathons. Everybody at the clinic is friendly and positive, and their straightforward advice was just what I needed when demoralised with injury. The best in the business.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank all of the staff at G4 physio for the excellent treatmemt I have recently recieved at their clinic. Over a short course of 6 sessions of physio they have manged to resolve ongoing pain symptoms in my calf. I am now back training and couldnt be happier, the receptionist was very accomodating for my lifestyle and glyn was excellent throughout the treatmemt process! Negative experience: Don't bother going to this clinic! The female physiotherapist had no idea how to treat my condition and bandaged my foot with a strange looking tape that wasn't stretchable and cause immense itching the very next day. All I was given was a ten minute massage and a few exercises to carry out at home which are widely shown on YouTube as well. I called the clinic several times to ask for advice but there was no return call. In frustration I booked elsewhere and had my injury treated with the utmost of professionalism. Don't say that I did not warn you.

Fantastic experience: I saw Braden regarding a shoulder injury. Due to time constraints, I needed to be seen quickly. Braden was able to see him that evening, then after a second visit was able to give some exercises and recommendations whilst I was out of country.

Fantastic experience: Just want to thank the team for their continued support. I use the clinic mainly for sport massage and physio treatment. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this clinic for the past 6 years and cannot recommend them enough. Staff are always friendly, and have good knowledge and skills. I have also been attending the strength and fitness classes which they now offer, classes are limited in size which promotes the one on one feel of a Pt session. Each session is different and pushes you to get the most out of you. Would recommend G4 to all friends and family :)

Fantastic experience: I had a back problems as the result of a car crash which was making my work life unbearable due to it being of a physical nature. I first went to different chiropractors which were absolutely useless and wanted me to go for as many sessions as they could get out of me with each £30 session lasting 15 minutes. Eventually I decided to go to a physio and go referred to G4 by a friend, at my initial consultation the problem was assessed quickly and I was given different exercises to complete at home. After 2 weeks of completing the different exercises my back problems disappeared, I only wish I'd went to G4 physio sooner as I could of saved alot of money and time.

Fantastic experience: I recently had physio at G4 for a reoccurring ankle injury. I'm happy to report that after just a few sessions I am again injury free. I would definitely use G4 again and recommend them to friends.

Fantastic experience: Been having a problem with my achillies area for ages and had been seeing a physio on nhs. I eventually got fed up and tried Glynn's physio place out... what can I say... got the true cause of my injury straigt away, I was given treatment and stretches to do and got back training lightly in a week and 2 weeks later I'm smashing it again. Awesome service, I just wish I hadn't decided to wait to see someone from the nhs and instead gone to see these guys... many thanks!!!

Fantastic experience: G4 Physiotherapy recommended by a friend. Called this morning and was booked straight in. Just had my first physio session and feeling great. Found staff extremely helpful and professional, and have booked in for a follow up next week. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Got referred by my insurance to these people. Got an initial review within a day. Had frozen lumber spine and 9 days later Aviva still didn't have the report from them. Chased it and was misled and ignored by the staff. Administration and customer service is none existence. I have now refused to use the idiots and have my physio at an alternative physio. I would recommend NOT using G4 as i wouldn't trust these people to post a letter!

Fantastic experience: I have Kore Therapy with Anna and would highly recommend. Different from anything else I've tried but the results speak for themselves.

Fantastic experience: Had a back, neck and shoulder massage today with Charlotte. I feel amazing! No specific problems but it was fantastic to have a quality massage by someone who is so knowledgable and passionate about what they do. Just what I needed. She was able to adjust for my 22 week baby bump and made sure I was comfortable throughout. I would highly recommend and I will be back for sure. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Started visiting G4 alittle over a year ago. I have a ruptured (at times bulging) disc. damaged SI joint and torn cartilage in my hip. None can be 'fixed just managed. And those weaknesses create overcompensating injuries. All the team here are great but can't speak highly enough of Charlotte D. 2 weeks ago I started with chronic pain, at times too painful to work. Following her advice and with her treatment I'm doing really well and can now look forward to time with family over Christmas. So grateful for everything she has done. Fantastic experience: I have been attending G4 clinic for 3.5 years. I have used the following services physio,personal training, sports massage, Pilates, acupuncture podiatry and Gait testing for insoles. The growing facilities at G4 make the clinic a one stop clinic they are professional friendly and supportive , the flexibility and level of care you receive exceeds expectations. I have a team of warehouse staff who are manual handling heavy boxes all day, 5 days a week. Fantastic experience: Eamon, the physiotherapist, totally sorted out my very injured and aching shoulder after 8 months of pain by providing me with some excellent advice and exercises. I'd been to a chiropractor, to sports masseuse, and an acupuncturist, but none of them helped me to get rid of the constant pain until I came to see Eamon. I'm back to my active lifestyle now and am so grateful to him. It only took me two sessions with him and a few weeks of exercises. Incredible.

Fantastic experience: As a competitive cyclist I was devistated when I picked up a knee injury through over use. After a thorough diagnosis, at the Didsbury clinic, including a bike fit, Glynn and his friendly team put together a program of rehabilitation and course of treatment to get me back on the bike and riding again in a few months. I can't thank Glynn and his team enough for the course of treatment including acupuncture, massage and complimentary use of the gym to do exercises to target key muscle groups, which helped me regain my strength and conditioning. I continue to see Glynn as part of my ongoing program to make sure I don't pick up another injury. Highly recommended for anyone struggling with any type of injury.

Fantastic experience: Tore ankle ligaments while running. GP recommended seeing physio and service I received at G4 was excellent. The injury was complex due to bone damage which the team identified mid-way through initial treatment (which the hospital didn't). Once confirmed by MRI scan, the treatment was tailored to suit the extent of injury. Realistic targets for recovery were set and met while the physio team was available to assist with out of hours difficulties. Booking was easy and straight forward with times to suit me including early morning and late evening. Full recovery made, medically highly knowledgeable and service impressive. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Having been recommended by a friend - I went to G4 for some sport related massages in my lower limbs. Glyn and his team where very professional and approachable, and delivered an excellent service that really did make the difference with my training. Fantastic experience: I booked in to see Glyn at G4 when I was getting knee pain while cycling. I had an event coming up and the pain was becoming so unbearable halfway into a ride that I was worried I wouldn't be able to complete the event. Glyn diagnosed the problem and took the time to explain what was causing it. Through a course of deep tissue massage and a stretching regime I was back cycling again in no time with minimal pain. I was able to get back to training as normal and it gave me the confidence to go into the race knowing that my knee wasn't going to seize up. Thanks Glyn and the rest of the team for getting me through the race! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Since my ACL tear I have tried several clinics around Manchester with little success, G4 physiotherapy was recommended to me by a family member and I haven't looked back since. Glyn prescribed a combination of treatment and a great exercise regime. The pain has gone, I have gone back to playing regular football and haven't had any problems since. My confidence has dramatically increased and my knee feels much stronger following Glyn's exercise program. Fantastic experience: After almost giving up on distance running a friend referred me to Glyn at G4 Physiotherapy I was given a very thorough examination that identified a couple of problems, these were clearly explained to me, along with the course of action required to get me back on track. Following some deep tissue massage and a visit to Paul the podiatrist I can now report that I am once again a very happy and pain free runner. Can't recommend G4 high enough!
