Negative experience: Awful experience for our kid’s’ party! Terrible communication, the email with instructions went into my junk box, on the day we called the manager on duty (number displayed on the wall) to get access code, we were made to feel guilty as this was apparently disturbing. I suggested that a read receipt should be incorporated into the email, or if a customer doesn’t respond or acknowledge the email, that a phone call should follow…? The person dealing with the booking called Elaine was extremely blunt and rude, no customer service skills whatsoever! And too busy to make a 2min call to check everything is ok! We were accused of leaving the place dirty, this was not the case! We asked for evidence, never received it, because it was nonexistent! They kept our deposit money of £50 probably illegally! Just horrendous! Such a shame because the venue and facilities are actually good. I am not disputing you sent the information. It went into my junk box. That’s why we missed that email. The fact that I had responded to other emails, but not to this one, should indicate that something went wrong, that’s why it should have been followed up with another email/text/or a call. When I suggested that, Elaine told me she’s too busy for that and she’s already working hard. What do you mean it “appeared” we’ve used the room, do you have evidence? Again, you’re saying that we left the hall dirty, this is not true, if this was the case, why can’t you provide photos? I have chased up the deposit return issue with numerous emails with no response. We haven’t been invoiced for additional use nor additional cleaning cost. You’re still keeping our £50, on what grounds? Not sure what to make of it? Is it theft? The person dealing with the booking really needs to receive some customer service training, just unprofessional, rude and abrupt!

Fantastic experience: Great place to hold meetings. Large hall and toilet facilities. I've only been there twice and not that local to me so not sure what else is on offer there. Both times have been very clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: We hired the hall for a celebration of life we had for a member of the family. We couldn't be more happy with the day. It has recently been painted and has lots of useful extras which are perfect for partys.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place for a birthday party. Enough parking, modern facilities and a huge hall to play with. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic experience: We hired the hall for my wife's birthday recently; as a new build it is fitted out immaculately with everything you could possibly need. We had 80 guests sat comfortably around tables with plenty of space for dancing later on. The natural church-like acoustics were a bit of a challenge early on for our band, but once the place filled up it sounded excellent. We would definitely consider the Causeway Hall for any similar events in the future.
