Positive experience: Friendly staff and ok equipment. Great gym compared to other gym near by like pure gym since the people who train here is more friendly. Showers could be allot better! Update 1: the showers haven't changed since not being a club member after several years. Probably the most disappointing thing about the gym if you plan to go to work after the gym. Update 2: as of 2025, the showers haven't been working / only cold water a number of times this as of April 2025 Update 2: as of Sept 25, floor has been sorted but water pressure is still bad.

Fantastic experience: Went today on a day pass and not one thing I can complain about. Staff at front of house were really friendly and helpful. Layout of the gym and changing rooms were great and kept super clean. Had a great session and will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: For the past seven years, I've been a loyal member of Gym Co. It all began back in 2017 when I first arrived in Northern Ireland from Saint Lucia. My journey with Gym Co started at the Finaghy location, where I received a warm welcome and a thorough tour of the facilities. Since then, I've transitioned to the City Side site due to a change in residence. My overall experience with Gym Co has been nothing short of positive. City Side; The staff, from the manager to the cleaners, exude friendliness, helpfulness, and warmth. They're always ready to assist, and their passion for their work shines through. The gym is consistently clean, and the equipment is always well-maintained. Gym Co offers a diverse range of classes, including body combat, spin studio sessions, body pumped, and hyrox, among others. The trainers invest time in teaching the moves and provide encouragement throughout the classes. Even on days when I feel unmotivated, their support leaves me feeling grateful by the end of the session. The gym boasts several personal trainers, but I particularly recommend Dylan and Aaron based on my interactions with them. They go above and beyond, readily answering questions and offering assistance, even if you're not their client. I'll never forget the time Dylan paused his own session to help me with the hip flexor machine, demonstrating his dedication and character. If you're in search of a personal trainer, I highly endorse him and if you are like me a lover of the gym classes, sauna and steam room then….DRUM ROLL Then this is the Gym for you. FYI. Fantastic experience: Great staff Ryan, Stathi, Katie, Alison and Faye are very welcoming on the desk and always have a smile and ask how members are doing as do all the staff. Great gym Great atmosphere Love the hot sauna It gives me an incentive to go and finish a workout then to relax after in the hot sauna which is the best one I have been to.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Gym, it's the people who make it so awesome all the staff, PT's and other members. From the second you step out of the lift you are met with a smile and how are you, all the classes everyone chats and helps new members out. It's not like a commercial gym were you go in workout go home. I could be there for 3 hours and spend 2 of them talking. Helps my mental health in so many ways. Recently I went in after a tough day at work, and was feeling really down. Nathan (PT) and Matthew (Staff) both came over to see if I was ok noticing I looked down. Chatted to them started feeling better. Then John (Staff) came over after he had finished instructing his class along with Kevin a fellow member chatted to them for a bit felt much better. Did my workout walking out I bumped into another member Lisa, chatted to her for a bit and by the time I got home I was buzzing and felt so happy. My tough day completely forgotten about. And this is why I love Gym Co.

Fantastic experience: Joined the gym two months ago and it only keeps improving! Upon Stathi's recommendation I recently tried out the new curved treadmills and they are way better than the standard ones, especially for the HIIT workout. Super friendly team and atmosphere all around ;)

Fantastic experience: Gymco Belfast is an amazing place to work out. The energy and passion from all the staff is amazing. I was apprehensive about joining but the staff were so friendly and helped put me at ease. The cleanliness within the facilities are of a very high standard. I use the gym, classes and sauna. Steven the manager is so approachable. Nothing was too much trouble for Sammy and John who showed me around and gave me a day pass. Would highly recommend Gymco who have high standards on so many levels. My personal trainer is Nathan who is so user friendly.

Positive experience: Pros: Good range of equipment, nice welcoming staff, sauna and steam good quality and always on Cons: No preacher curl/situp bench, music is very loud and pumping so you cant hear your own headphones, no aircon

Fantastic experience: An absolutely AMAZING gym… visiting from Manchester. The staff were so welcoming, friendly, attentive and accommodating… from reception to the gym floor!!! Helped me set up a temporary membership and book all the classes I needed. I did some gym floor work with John Mc Clean… he was phenomenal… went above and beyond to look after me, and took me for lots of sessions while I was there. There was an amazing variety that he had planned and thought out really carefully, specifically targeted to my fitness goals and needs. I am so so grateful for the care and attention from him and other staff during the course of my stay!!! By far, the best gym I have visited or attended- thank you to all the staff ☺️

Fantastic experience: Richard Linton booked me an appointment and gave me a tour of the facilities. I was very impressed with everything they have to offer and the membership isn't dear compared to other gyms I checked. Richard took me through a number of exercises to access my mobility which helped him create my workout plan. Following his nutrition and exercise advice I have lost 3lbs, 3cm around my waist, 3cm around my chest and 3cm around my hips in only 6 weeks. I am feeling more confident, my energy levels have increased and my stress levels have decreased. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner. I can't recommend this gym enough. They have great facilities, loads of equipment, friendly staff and they are never busy to the point there is no equipment free.
