Charge Up Gym

Fantastic experience: Charge Up Gym is a massive step up from the "cheap but basic and on every high street" gyms like Pure Gym, Fitness First etc. They have some very important pieces of equipment that the likes of Pure generally do not have, such as: T-Bar Row, Seated Calf Machine, Trap Bar. The owner has taken a lot of care to make it an inclusive gym not only for experienced lifters but also for the average person who just wants to keep fit. The staff and resident Personal Trainers are very friendly and approachable. Well done Charge Up, keep up the good work!

Negative experience: This is gym is poorly equipped with not even the basics for a solid gym workout. What’s even more disappointing is the membership £70 Monthly membership which is an absolute robbery! They do not even have the courtesy to email there members to inform them of the price increases. Another thing the gym should open at 6am but the gym Rarely opens at this time, the individual turns up at 6:20 and doesnt even apologise. Completely unprofessional. I know members who have left because of this.

Fantastic experience: Love this place! My mum has been going there for a few years and has classes with the trainers there. Super professional and positive energy with the pumping music. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: The sudden and unreasonable increase in membership fees at this gym is truly disappointing. Without any noticeable improvement in facilities or services, they’ve simply raised the prices! This not only shows a lack of consideration for loyal members but will also push many people to cancel their memberships. What’s even more ridiculous is that this gym is just a small space under a building, not a fully equipped sports complex! If the management only cares about profit and not service quality, they will definitely lose members in the future.

Fantastic experience: No gym compares once you’ve trained here, no matter how boujee it is. This gym grows on you, with you, constantly evolving. Love and care is installed in every corner of its layout. Staff’s genuine and hella inspiring. A wide and ever-growing variety of protein supplements are on offer. Those vending machine joints can do one. Even the people who go here are built different, and I mean mentally. I’ve never seen so much discipline in one place. Everyone’s here to become the best version of themselves. Love it.

Friendly staff and very helpful. Very clean and good vibe! The owner Michael always makes me feel comfortable to ask for help with the equipment. I am very happy training here.

Positive experience: I go to this gym as this is where the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club I joined moved to. Its a nice gym and is aimed at combat sports. Has a good atmosphere here

Fantastic experience: Love this gym! Fresh equipment with a proper corner for all things MMA (boxing ring, 8 bags and a padded area for BJJ) they have lots of equipment there too if you forget/don't have any. Also the staff and people there are great. This is the first time I've been to a gym where the people don't feel judgemental rather they would help you with your exercise so you know how to do it better for subsequent exercises. Sticking here for the near future ✅✅
