Steel City Sports @ The Forge

Fantastic experience: This was amazing for my daughter to experience it was lovely clean the teachers are amazing they help her with everything she loved it we are definitely coming again good gob to the owner well done ❤️

Fantastic experience: This is such a great place for an under 5's birthday party! I've been taking my daughter to Steel City Sports @ The Forge since she was old enough to walk. The coaches are friendly, and laid back - it has been great for boosting her confidence in her own body and she always loves it. We recently used their space for her 4th birthday party. The team were really supportive, helped us set up, provided cutlery and plates, and even did the tidy up. We were able to do our own catering and they even provided hot drinks for the adults which we had not thought of! All our friends and family had a good time, and the kids loved running around, climbing things, jumping off things and then the games at the end were great and engaging. It was like having your own private softplay. Hollie was a brilliant host - so much energy despite a heavy night before :p The other junior coaches were also great, and my daughter had a great time and can't stop talking about it. Communicating with Steffi to get it organised was great, and even when there was a mixup with the payment this was resolved swiftly. Thanks again ladies - it was such a great afternoon.

Fantastic experience: Steffi and the girls are doing a great job, I can highly recommend this Gymnastics club to all parents, they have recently renovated the place inside and it looks amazing, kids love it and I manage to reply to a couple of emails from work as this keeps them busy and active for 1hr :-)

Fantastic experience: Our daughter has attended the independent preschool class for a year and has loved it! Now she has moved into the 4-6 year old after school class. The skills she has picked up during her time at Steel City so far has been excellent - she loves to demonstrate what she's learnt at home!! Also, it's had an amazing effect on her strength and confidence generally across everything she does. The teachers, although young, as very experienced and attentive. Recommended!

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old had her birthday party at Steel City Gym it was fantastic would definitely recommend!My daughter was smiling and having fun the whole time and her friends all enjoyed themselves.The staff were all so friendly and helpful.They played games and lots of gymnastics and were occupied the whole party.

Fantastic experience: We have been attending steel city pre school sessions for over a year now and have always had an amazing experience. My daughter has learnt a lot. She has developed gymnastic skills, coordination and balance. Her communication skills have also developed a lot. Thank you ❤️

Fantastic experience: My daughter started at Steel this summer and absolutely loves the classes. Melissa and the team are brilliant with her. Cassie takes a little extra work as shows some ADHD traits but every person we meet there is focused on helping her reach her goals and her confidence has grown so much in just a few short weeks. Going to Steel is a highlight of her week now.

Fantastic experience: Great club. Very patient and understanding with the kids. Can honestly say my lad has gained loads of confidence since switching to this club.

Negative experience: I took my 2 year old to the tumbling session at 10am on 25/11 on a Friday morning. These are my areas of concern. The person running the session was distracted with their phone for the first 15 minutes rather than engaging with the children. I glanced over at their phone and they were looking at jackets for sale. The room was also very cold. The second part of the session was in another dark and cold room with a leaking roof. I and my son both had wet soaks by the end. Also there were other pieces of equipment laying around which weren't suitable for children to play with. The session needs to be better organised and run safety with more interaction with the children.

Fantastic experience: My three year old daughter really enjoyed a Friday morning session here. Michelle was brilliant; she knew exactly who we were and remembered Martha's name. The session was a great combination of free play/explore time, a song with action and some stations to practise balancing and forward rolls.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous! Both my daughters love cheer. It's such a family place. Very professional and loving staff.
