Negative experience: Reached out 3 times to cancel my membership, since I’m going away, and just been ignored. Seems insane that they won’t let you cancel

Fantastic experience: I’ve been joining MoreYoga for more than a year, and the Hackney studio is incredibly convenient as it is not far to the station. The class schedule fits perfectly with my availability, and the facilities are well-maintained. The atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great place to practice yoga. I appreciate the variety of classes offered, catering to different levels and preferences. Overall, it’s been a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience: The MoreYoga studio in Hackney is great. There’s a really good variety of classes and range of teachers, suitable for all levels. I really like the flexibility of MoreYoga and how many classes there are at different locations near me.

Fantastic experience: The yoga studio in Hackney is clean, and very welcoming. The teachers are professional and make each class enjoyable. Another great thing is that there’s a lovely café just outside the studio, perfect if you want to grab a coffee, relax before class, or meet a friend afterwards.

Fantastic experience: I am a long time client and even a fan of MoreYoga. I really appreciate the opportunity to practice yoga at an affordable price they offer. I have been to many of the studios in this chain but the Hackney studio is my local studio for the last yesr and I go there very often, it is in a new residential building, well equipped and very comfortable. I like most of the trainers in this studio, their kind and attentive attitude and cosy atmosphere.

Negative experience: Terribile website. Impossible to sign up on their website. Finally managed and then does not recognise my email upon login though I have already paid for the subscription. Cannot book into one single class without logging in. Just unbelievable

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending this studio for a few months now. It’s affordable, convenient to where I live and the instructors are encouraging and knowledgeable. They help me improve my skills dirt and my skills like posture. They also have good customer service anytime I’ve needed to contact them. It’s feels friendly and more down to earth atmosphere compared to some higher priced status based studios. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This studio is so wonderful! The decor is gorgeous and unique, it's painted like a forest, with fairy lights and the teachers are lovely. Great location, great classes!

Positive experience: The layout is a bit awkward with the pillars cutting into class, but I do like that the teacher is normally on the center and there’s two sides to the class. Other than that, lovely instructors and easy to hear them because it’s a smaller studio

Fantastic experience: Great studio with a range of classes and teachers. The yoga styles vary and the classes are frequent so you can always find something for you. People are very respectful and the atmosphere is focused and relaxing. Love going here!

Positive experience: Great studio, classes at a range of different times all throughout the week and great to have a variety of teachers and styles. Generally very busy and full classes and some are quite fast paced so best if you are already a bit familiar with yoga as there's not much time for 1-1 help or corrections for everyone although teachers are generally helpful if you ask!

Fantastic experience: Amazing teachers and a great variety of classes to choose from.

Positive experience: I decided to give it a second try after a very disappointing experience, however this time was even worse. Nothing to say about the teachers, who seems professional and friendly. Unfortunately, as you step into the studio the smell of feet and stale air is so strong that it's impossible to focus on your practice. This time, in addition to the smell, the room was so hot and there was no air circulation that I could feel the lack of oxygen. I left the class with a headache and definitely not in a good mood!

Positive experience: Good studio for the price. Teachers are good, and there are a lot of times to choose from, even on weekends. The studio is small, often packed and mats are very close together. Vinyasa classes are good but some are not really begginner friendly like the description says. Love the Flow to restore classes on Sundays, would like to have them other days as well.

Negative experience: I had a very negative experience with more yoga. My local studio smelt quite badly of mold, which, when inhaling deeply in a yoga class, became quite troubling. I cancelled the contract via their online form but didn't receive any communication that the contract had been cancelled. A week later, I checked online, and it was the same, so I cancelled again. The next payment still came out, and it was only on emailing them to complain that they cancelled the contract and refused to refund the extra money taken. You get what you pay for here. It's cheap for a reason. Pay the extra and go to a better class.

Fantastic experience: Love how simple and functional this studio is! Amazing instructors who make the practice enjoyable and fun! I would definitely recommend signing up for a membership with MoreYoga - the best thing I started in 2023 :)

Positive experience: The classes are excellent with a great number of times to select each day of the week, including holidays. Most of the teachers are fantastic and there’s a great selection of yoga styles to suit everyone. The studio itself isn’t much to look at and this particular one smells pretty awful, which you get used to after a few minutes (I think it’s the mats). I bring my own mat, which helps. The front door takes you directly on to the studio floor, so be ready to drop your shoes in a small area right at the door. It’s not luxurious but that’s reflected in the decent pricing.

Fantastic experience: Such a great environment to practice yoga among really nice individuals. The instructors are always really professional and lead rigorous yet meditative classes. I’ve frequently attended classes at the Hackney studio and each feels like a new experience.

Fantastic experience: I'm finally coming to the end of my annual membership and I'll be immediately renewing. The classes are varied and easy to follow and the booking system is simple. The studio is always clean and the instructors are all brilliant. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to moreyoga for a few months and really enjoy the classes. The hackney branch is just down the road to me which is really convenient. I love that there are so many different styles taught so you can really pick and choose the intensity you want, especially as you get to know a teacher's yoga style. The classes are definitely for all levels! The teachers always gives ways to modify a pose if you aren't able to do a certain pose or want to make it slightly harder, so theres always another option which I find super thoughtful as it caters to all levels and i like that the option for physical adjustments by the teacher are available which helps you get into a pose correctly. Overall would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Lovely light studio with an excellent selection of classes and great teachers. Affordable memberships and drop in classes with no skimping on equipment. Matts are pristine and so nice to practice on. Very pleased to have this so close to me!

It has a good selection of classes, teachers and times and has a convenient location for East London. I can only highly recommend MY for the variety and quality of offerings as well as for its affordability.

Fantastic experience: I love MoreYoga. They make it easy to sustain practice by having a lot of places dotted around with exceptional teachers and good variety of classes. I love the hackney branch. Nice space as well. It also has a Kundalini class (which I don't think other branches have)

Positive experience: Been to this one when hanging out with friends, the environment and teacher are great, however the mat is notoriously smelly and sticky

Fantastic experience: Lovely yoga studio close to Hackney downs and Hackney central station. Busy but not overcrowded, nice relaxing decor with trees and leaves creating a forest feel. Tried kundalini and flow yoga both very good!

Fantastic experience: Really great atmosphere at More Yoga Hackney, definitely my studio of choice in London for both Pilates and Yoga. No frills, no fuss and suitable for all levels. Super welcoming and friendly vibe, love this studio!

Positive experience: Amazing location, 9/10 of the teachers are great and friendly, attendees are all very respectful. My only complaint is that sometimes the space feels a bit tight for the classes with a lot of people and that some of the yoga mats are getting a little older and the floors have felt a little dirty at times (but not major issue if you clean your mat well or bring your own and get there on time or 5mins early to find a good spot!)

Fantastic experience: I'm really glad I joined More Yoga. I bought a year pass and its definitely meant that I do lots more yoga. I live about 15-25 min cycle from about 4 studios so it means there is always something to go to (though I would love a More Yoga in Clapton!). The classes can be quite cosy and in the summer I get very hot in the studios, but the teachers are generally accommodating and helpful with fans and opening doors etc. to try to ventilate the space. There are also a variety of styles to chose from that are always accessible and supportive.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love going to this studio. It is my favourite out of all the MoreYoga studios that I’ve been to (so far). It has a beautiful forest-like vibe with trees, plants and fairy lights making the space super relaxing and inviting. I love the variety and amount of classes this studio offers - from vinyasa to rocket with many morning and evening classes 7 days a week and the instructors are second to none. Really worth checking out this studio!

Fantastic experience: Love MoreYoga and the teachers are all amazing, the choice of classes is varied, and despite the fact I'm often one of the oldest, and least stretchy/fit, I'm always made to feel welcome. I've done yoga on and off for nearly 30 years but at More Yoga I've learnt loads and tried Mandala yoga and Yogasana and Rocket for the first time. The studio is my favourite - there are places to park a bike outside and well-lit and next to a Co-Op so feels relatively safe

Fantastic experience: More yoga is the best, and this is my favourite studio. There's nice light, enough space, good mats and fantastic teachers. Hongyi Huang's Wednesday morning class has been changing my life for the past year!

Fantastic experience: MoreYoga Hackney is the best MoreYoga studio I've visited. It is large with high ceiling, it is clean and I love the decorations: there are cozy lights all around and the walls are painted with beautiful plants and nature designs. My favourite thing is a tree, painted on the column (which is located at the side, thus not invading the space too much), which makes you feel as if you were practicing in a forest. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic experience: I attend Moreyoga Hackney with my membership however I love the flexibility of being able to go to any of their studios! It is great value especially for the quality of the classes and teachers. I really like the regular teacher in Hackney such as Zsofi, Jo Joseph and Ozlam!

Fantastic experience: MoreYoga Hackney is the best, most affordable yoga studio in the area. The studio is super cosy, relaxing and nicely decorated. All the classes have been great – both the power / vinyasa classes and yin classes. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I love More Yoga, the Dalston studio is large and spotlessly clean. Jo Joseph is a fantastic Yoga teacher and ensures all levels of ability are catered for. More Yoga is also great value for money and the quality of the classes are amazing! i 100% recommend!

Positive experience: One of the nicest studios I’ve been lately, the venue it’s super nice, great variety of classes and schedule which is always helpful. Love they also have a Pilates class were the instructor made us interact with each other and some of their instructors also give workshops. Recommended for sure!

Fantastic experience: It's so great to have a More Yoga studio right on my doorstep. The Hackney studio is really spacious, with an excellent timetable of different yoga styles. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my London yoga fix.

Having a membership and the option to practice all over London has meant I can now practice multiple times a week easily and it fits with my freelance career perfectly! Fantastic experience: One of the most attractive MoreYoga studios, with a lovely wooden logo and mandala mural artwork. I've not gone to lots of the classes here, but it is very useful to have the Stoke Newington, Finsbury Park and Hackney studios all cycling distance from each other - that way you can find the right class for your mood and energy levels!
