Fantastic experience: Brilliant.... I'm a bit of a gymphobe, I can sometimes feel very self conscious if i'm surrounded by the super fit and weight grunters. Not here, it's so very friendly and welcoming to all! The gyms are split so those who do big weights and make me feel very inadequate are separate. Lots of equipment, lots of space and lots of classes which to my surprise I'm enjoying, again all credit to the instructors who make the atmosphere fun for all.

Positive experience: Not to busy if you pick the right times, lots of classes, pity no pool.

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym in Lowestoft. The next revamp has the whole place stocked up with brand new equipment and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. With the next upgrade to the gym being the sauna and steam room, now's the time to join!

Negative experience: Would not recommend to anyone took full payment off me for one month to turn up and find out its closed for refurbishment. Then the manager of this branch said to me sorry for the mix up i will give you one month free so you will pay nothing next month this wasn't the case following month tried to take full payment when I did not issue payment to them they rang me up to ask why I hadn't paid I explained to them that I wasn't ment to get charged he said oh well I'm now taking you off our system this place is a joke

Fantastic experience: NR gym is a lease of life into a mundane gym society. Only one word describe this gym. FAMILY! Having been in the armed forces and not doing fitness for over 12 years it was fair to say I was not in best of shape. My partner started her transformation at NR and I decided to support by joining too. This was possibly one of the best things I did. NR is fantastic!!!. Having been to other gyms in past there was a vibe like no other. Everybody is willing to help one another. There is no judgement or awkwardness. The facilities are great and will be even better with a refurb soon to hit our NR site. The staff are above and beyond any other gym I've been too. They care! To point some now we can honestly call friends. My journey has been utterly bonkers, and it's down to the support not only the people in this gym provide but also due to the attention to detail the staff give. I thank them all!!! If your looking for a gym with a real heart that will inspire you to be the new you that you wish to be. This is the place to train!

Fantastic experience: One of my favourite places to be! I love the classes and the gym itself equally. There is a real family vibe to the gym, members are friendly and helpful - staff have become more like friends! The gym layout is very good - cardio equipment and pin weight machines are in one room. Free weights, benches, squat racks & deadlift area are in a separate room. I find there's always space to do your thing! I train quite late on in the evening & am frequently the only girl in the gym but I always feel safe! I've been going to NR since March 2023 & have lost almost 20kg in weight. I started with the 12week programme that Dan set up for me and 7.5kg of that weight loss was in the first 12weeks! I was very pleased & I've just continued from strength to strength. NR is a brilliant gym with all the equipment you could need to get a good workout in ☺️ thanks Team NR for providing an excellent gym

Fantastic experience: I joined NR Fitness Lowestoft in April of this year. Since then, I have been supported and encouraged in meeting my goals by all of the staff. They are friendly and approachable and some I would also say I’ve now come to think of as friends. The gym itself has a great layout - the cardio & resistance machines are in one large room, the free weights, benches, squat racks and deadlift area are in another large room, and there is also a room for stretching and mobility. The showers are great - the water is always nice and hot and they are always clean. Downstairs in reception is an abundance of supplements, shakes, pre-work outs, protein bars and other protein snacks which are available to purchase using cash or card. There is also a fully stocked vending machine (which takes contactless card payment only). It’s also very handy having a sunbed at the centre - I use this either before or after my workout as a little boost, especially in the winter months! In summary, I highly recommend NR Fitness Lowestoft. Not just for the equipment and facilities, but for the friendly staff, the great sense of community among the members, and the overall positive atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy the classes and find all the staff really friendly and welcoming. Dan is a really good general manager, his ability to make me feel at ease and welcome during my 7 day trial along with the variety of classes resulted in me taking a yearly membership out.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of the gym now for 12 months. I’m 65 years old, and since I’ve been to the gym, I can see the difference in my shape and toning of my body. Which although unexpected, iIm very pleased about. I would absolutely recommend, whatever age, to join the gym, to see and feel the benefit. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s a pleasure, not a chore to work out at the gym, which I would never have thought when I first joined!

Fantastic experience: Joined after a negative experience in a close proximity gym which I then quit, and I couldn't be happier. Some of the equipment is a bit dated, but all perfectly functional. Everything is so nicely spaced out, and even at its busiest you're still not tripping over others. I get pretty bad anxiety and had quite frequent attacks in the previous gym but haven't had that here at all, and I can visit on my own and feel comfortable! The staff are always friendly and helpful too, which makes a massive difference. Keep it up everyone!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, I've been to a few gyms around Lowestoft and this is my favourite. Always a great atmosphere with friendly welcoming staff . The equipment is always kept clean and tidy, everyone respects the gym. I like the fact it's always mixed age groups. Making everyone feel at ease no matter the age or ability.

Fantastic experience: NR fitness gym in Lowestoft is the place to be. NR fitness took over Nivana and they've made such a huge difference. So fresh, clean and modern. Staff are so friendly and happy to help. The gym equipment is brand new and good quality fit for everyone's needs. I'm excited for when they reopen the swimming pool In time to come. This place is great and you need to be part of it. Highly recommend
