Fantastic experience: ⭐ Review of Kraken Fighting Fit Classes My goal in joining Kraken was to maintain my fitness while pushing myself further—to get fitter, lose weight, and tone up. Within just a couple of sessions of the Fighting Fit classes, I began noticing real changes. I had more energy, I was sleeping better, and even my eating habits improved. The staff and instructors are outstanding. They’re always encouraging, guiding us through techniques, and making sure we perform exercises correctly. Their wealth of experience shines through, and they bring a great sense of humor to the sessions, which makes training enjoyable. Instructors of note, whose classes I’ve had the pleasure of attending, include Tim (always funny and motivating), Max, Tom, and Bradley—just to mention a few. Each brings their own style and expertise, making every class engaging and effective. I mainly attend the Fighting Fit classes, so I can only speak for these, but the friendliness of both the instructors and fellow students stands out. They’ve even taken the time to explain the pros and cons of recovery methods, including the sauna, which has benefited me immensely. Kraken also offers a wide range of equipment, and the venue itself is clean and well-maintained. Overall, the Fighting Fit classes have been a fantastic experience, helping me progress toward my goals while keeping me motivated and engaged. I would highly recommend Kraken to anyone wanting to join—these classes are far superior to any other gym experience.

Fantastic experience: A great gym with a friendly and welcoming culture. Coaches are professional, approachable and encouraging, regardless of skill/fitness level. Special shout-out to Bradley who recently led the beginners course. He was very positive, encouraging and knowledgeable, and used his extensive martial arts experience to help each student get the most out of each class.

Fantastic experience: As a 63 year old with ceramic hips I was very nervous about any keep fit classes involving impact. However the wide variety of styles and knowledge base employed by the instructors at Kraken has improved my fitness and durability to the point I am now able to perform round kicks. Furthermore, thanks to their continual enthusiasm and positive vibe during classes my self-confidence has also improved dramatically. Thank you to all of you for your help over the last six months

Positive experience: You bets be strong in you heart this place packed with sigma boys! You get what you pay for in this life so dont be mean, it pricey but you really want to be cheap?!

Negative experience: I was very disappointed my son ended up in hospital because of the way the trainer treated him. He had chest and hip injuries when he kicked him I do not recommend any parents to treat their children's martial arts trainer like that. The services should deal with things like this when things like this happen at school. Because it is unthinkable for a trainer to hit his students so hard I do not recommend and I am filing a case against them for what they did

Positive experience: They are good, but they do not provide flexibility classes. There is an important part, but it missed

Fantastic experience: Initially being uneasy and slightly nervous, the Kraken team where very welcoming, friendly and made me feel confident quickly. They talked me through what they do, the experience they have and how they can accommodate to all experience levels. Having no experience with any combat sport and always wanting to get into it I love this pace. The classes are different and engaging every time. They are designed to push you to achieve your best physical self. They are welcoming of people at different levels both males and females. They are also welcoming for youngsters to build self confidence. Already making good progress. 10/10. Looking forward to more sessions.

Fantastic experience: I can’t praise this gym highly enough. My 8 year old son started a couple of months ago having not done anything like this before. All the staff are very welcoming and extremely professional and my son loves the sessions (he actually asked if he could practise his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instead of playing on the Xbox before he went to bed tonight… that says something). Highly recommended.

From beginners to professional fighters this place supports the lot. My whole family comes here; it’s a great way to stay healthy together, learn new skills and develop the kids. Great coffee too.

Fantastic experience: The coaches at kraken they are amazing,friendly encouraging hard working and commited, to both adult & kids classes. I have fun when i go to the fighting fit class and my grandson loves going to the MMA & BJJ. The gym is clean and the coaches go above and beyond to keep us safe.

Fantastic experience: Great place to learn martial arts, whether its for leisure, fitness, self defense or competition purposes. Great facilities, skilled and knowledgeable coaches with proven track records and a welcoming atmosphere. I've spent many hours on the mats at Kraken and have enjoyed every minute. Recommended for both beginners and the more experienced.

Fantastic experience: Was made to feel super comfortable the day I walked into the gym, the team at Kraken sparked my love for Jiu Jitsu and created a brilliant training environment. Alongside this, he classes they offer outside of Jiu Jitsu are great and the level of coaching and teachers there is second to none.

Fantastic experience: Joined Kraken since I wanted to get into self defence. They had a great introductory offer which gave me a good taste for the classes. Classes are well structured to focus on both beginners and more advanced members. Can't fault their approach to covid hygiene measures either. Mat are cleaned after each class with temperature checks and NHS app sign ons. The cafe has plenty of choice in terms of drinks pre and post session. All in all, very happy with my experience at Kraken and would definitely recommend to others!

Coaches are professional, friendly and supportive - it's s really welcoming, inclusive place to train.

Fantastic experience: Kraken offers great service of sport classes. If you are into MMA or fighting or even yoga, different ones are offered. The gym staff is friendly, professional and very cool people :) The classes make you fit for sure! Can only recommend to try a class and get a nice cup of coffee afterwards ☕

Fantastic experience: I've attended a few different mma schools in Bedfordshire in the past and never felt comfortable enough to be able to go back more than a few times and Kraken is the opposite of that. From my first trial session a year ago to now, the staff at Kraken create an atmosphere unlike any mma gym, or "normal" gym for that matter. Everyone is welcome and are made to feel like they have a place there. Every person who attends not only follows the rule of leaving your ego at the door but is supportive and is eager to help you develop even when you're struggling. The staff are friendly, personable but most importantly are understanding of everyone's situation and do everything they can to make you grow as a martial artist. I didn't think Kraken could get any better but seeing how they have dealt with the Covid-19 pandemic has shown what an incredible management team they have in place.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely first class gym with excellent facilities, atmosphere, members and staff. Just a great training environment from total beginners through to experienced pros. Had a top kickboxing session Friday straight into fighting fit top instructor's!!!

Fantastic experience: My 5yr old son and I started training here in August 2019, and we love it, can't get enough of the place. It's helped my son in so many ways, his focus and concentration levels have improved along with his overall confidence. The fact that he enjoys it so much is due to the well thought out class structure and the friendly professional coaches which make the whole place buzz with a positive friendly atmosphere. A few months later my wife joined and enjoys the weekly yoga classes. It really is a great family friendly place to stay active and keep fit, whatever your fitness goals are I would highly recommend Kraken. There's even a café on site and a sauna, really couldn't ask for more!

Fantastic experience: Really great place to train & get fit, but with varied, ever changing and interesting workout programs, it really beats the bog standard traditional gyms and running on a treadmill for hours. At Kracken you get friendly, knowledgeable coaches delivering HIIT programs, combined with MMA type combinations. The varied workouts push you to your limits and the instructors are encouraging and friendly but push you to work hard and achieve results and personal goals. Great value for money and accessible location, coupled with a nice cafe area to chill out. I have been attending for around 4 months and have gained a new confidence from training here. Classes I attend have persons of varying ages, sizes and abilities. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: So glad we put our kid here to train in the MMA classes. Nice environment for the parents to chill out with a cafe bar, tv on which you can watch your kid training and inclusive of parking and wifi in case you need to work on the laptop or mobile. The other major reason for putting our kid here is that the instructors are not only knowledgable, but also enthusiastic about what they are teaching and building with the students.

Fantastic experience: The gym is high spec, all the facilities are in great condition. All the sessions are challenging, and the coaches make it scale to everyone's individual abilities. The onsite parking and café are an awesome additions too. Would definitely recommend!

I ve grown confidence in me fighting skils, and a team of amazing coaches were there with me to support and push me all the way. I am constantly learnig and improving and having such a strong team behind me makes is the best experience. Fantastic experience: I started Kraken fighting fit classes with the hope of improving my fitness, weight loss & tone up. Four months into my membership I was subject to 2 days of gruelling work related fitness tests. Over the two days I competed with 11 other candidates, all who where between 30-35 years of age, with me being the oldest 48. Between each circuit/test my recovery time was minimal compared with everyone else who were still puffing and panting. By the end of day one everyone had enough and left thinking what had they got themselves into. Day two was much the same. No two fighting fit classes are the same. Kraken's amazing fighting fit classes are the perfect way to improve your fitness, loose weight and tone up. I would highly recommend this over any run of the mill boring gym membership.

Fantastic experience: Attended my first Bjj class tonite, I was met by the club owner in their swanky coffee shop, talked through what they offer, the sessions, pricing structure, I told him my goal and within a few minutes we had a plan laid out for me. The class was brilliant, I was made to feel welcome by all the other members the coaching was pitched at the perfect level for me as a beginner, I left an hour and a half later sweating and with a huge smile on my face which still hasn’t subsided. Fantastic experience: Could not ask for a better gym. The moment I walked in the gym for the first time, I was immediately welcomed with open arms. Not only by the coaches, who I can't even thank enough for what they are doing for every costumer and for myself everyday, but also from the other costumers. Everyone is willing to help and have a chat, everyone is willing to stay a few more minutes just to give a tip or two or to show you a new technique. I have been here for a few months now and it is incredible how much I learnt. That wouldn't be possible without the incredible coaches that are here everyday, teaching us, making us push our limits and work towards progress. This gym became a second home to me. Sometimes I am not even training and I come here just to have a chat with the coaches and grab a cup of coffee. This only shows how much I enjoy being here and how much this gym means to me. I recommend this gym to everyone!

The facilities are clean and fresh with a great area downstairs for parents/members to sit and socialise. Fantastic experience: My son loves training here. He is six and had not tried MMA until this gym opened. A true indicator that he likes it very much, is that he asked if we could sleep over and train every day! I put it down to the can do attitude of the coach team and the warm, friendly atmosphere. Something for all the family and an extensive timetable.

My 6 year old son & I have both attended classes and have become members. As a parent I naturally want the best for my son. Fantastic experience: Best martial art facility in Bedford and a timetable to suit pretty much everyone. Having trained in many different gyms over the years, I can say the mats and facilities here easily come out on top. All the staff are approachable and friendly and will help put you in the right class for you. On top of all that they have a cafe to chill out in!!

Fantastic experience: A fantastic gym with very knowledgeable staff, they also make you feel as if you're part of the family. The equipment is new and very good, the matting is fantastic, clean and new. The entrance enters into the reception which has seating with tables. I understand that they want in the future to have some food and drink (non alcoholic) available to all who wish to wait for family to finish their lesson. This is a gym that I will use time and time again. Oh and a newly built sauna is nearly finished, I shall have to try that out. A weight room is downstairs the matted area upstairs and lovely new clean showers, who wouldn't want to go.

Fantastic experience: Exciting startup MMA gym has all the indications of being a great place to be for mixed martial arts training and other fitness regimes. The coaches are professional & friendly. The training areas and facilities are excellent. Top marks.
