From the moment I booked in my treatment, to my arrival, and after the session I was well looked after by kind, intelligent, and thoughtful staff. The venue is fresh and lovely too. Felicity's massage was exceptional. Her knowledge of techniques to best address my needs was simply perfect. Do make sure you leave enough time to park your car if driving as it's a challenge around that area!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. Really helpful staff. I had never been ‘floating’ before but immediately booked back in for another as it was so liberating and finally a moment for peace & you time. I have also tried the infrared sauna which I highly recommend, the light therapy in there also is really great. Both treatments have really helped my shoulder injury. There is truly no rush once you step through the door even after your float or sauna has finished, it’s very much take your time get ready and enjoy the relaxation downstairs in the tea room! I look forward to coming back again soon!!

Fantastic experience: I treated myself to the floatation experience and an infrared sauna at the Float Spa in Hove earlier today. I was met by Camille, who’s warmth and enthusiasm was a breath of fresh, she explained everything I needed to know about the infra red sauna, the shower and how everything worked… This was an incredible experience, and I really felt the benefits of the 65° heat in this personal sauna,. Next came the floatation experience, one of the team explained how it all worked, and again, another first for me. It was amazing, floating there for an hour forgetting every day life. Afterwards, I went down to the fantastic dream room, which still had the old safe door from when the property was a bank and the room has a very chilled vibe about it. I would highly recommend both these experiences and the Float Spa is a place of calm and serenity, where the team are very friendly, helpful and can’t do enough for you. I will definitely be back.

Negative experience: This company is a disgraceful THIEF. They won’t refund the remaining money after cancellation fees. I paid in advance for a massage which I could not attend due to work related circumstances. When phoned to cancel my appointment, I was made aware, only then, that I had to pay cancellation fee which is half of the sum I paid for the therapy. Totally disappointed, I decided to not reschedule and forget about it. I asked the manager Sara to give me back what remains from the payment after deducting the cancellation fees of which she replied that is impossible. I tried in vain to explain to her that you can not keep the remaining of what is left from my payment to yourself as I do not wish to have the treament with you anymore. She simply refused to give me back the remaining money and chose to ignore the fact that they can not keep the money for a service they are no longer providing. That is simply and bluntly THEFT

Fantastic experience: The Float Spa is a beautiful sanctuary in the middle of Hove. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well as feeling like you are having a cup of tea with a friend. The staff are knowledgable and supportive. Fantastic experience: My first visit to the @floatspahove I purchased a x3, x1 hour session online and yesterday was my first experience. It was pretty incredible. Probably the closest thing to feeling like you are in space with the weightless. ‍ It took me around 15-20 minutes to fully relax but then it just felt amazing. So chilled and zoned out. Give it go! The buildings in a converted old bank… after the treatment you can head down to the old vault, now called “the dream room” for a cup of tea! ☕️

Fantastic experience: The Float Spa is pretty much the number one reason why I miss living in Hove. Walking across the threshold to such a warm reception, the wonderful inclusive yoga instructors of my very unyogalike body, and omg the floats! Floating in that water is one of the most zenlike experiences ever, and oh my body misses it. Hard recommend.

As soon as you walk in and are greeted by the warm friendly staff, you feel your troubles melt away and that’s even before any treatment! The venue is kept to an excellent standard, the floatation experience itself is out of this world and the attention to the small details, from the tea offered post treatment to the interactions with staff and beautiful on site products available for purchase, really make this haven stand out. Fantastic experience: I adore the float spa, such a relaxing special place. The floats are amazing and the team is always so kind and welcoming. Perfect place to relax and escape the world for a while

Negative experience: Poor experience. Emailed them immediately after and have received no response so sharing to help others make an informed choice: I arrived just before 15 minutes prior as stated on the website. There was no sign of anyone for a good few minutes while I stood at the sign right in the doorway. When someone appeared she checked me in and directed me to the seats by reception desk and advised there was some water if I wanted it. This was just room temp water with a couple of slices of cucumber. The chairs in reception are very stained and not the most appealing first impression. Another lady also arrived in this time for an advertised session which staff seemed to have no idea about despite it being on posters and your website and there was no instructor present for - this didn’t instil much confidence! I was told we were just waiting for my tank to finish its cleaning cycle. About 10 minutes later I overheard staff say to each other that room 1 had left, so I thought I must almost be due to go in but someone only then went in to clean. I overheard then that there were 2 other clients there together and them being told they were being put into rooms 1&2 so that they were next door to each other (I’m not sure why this matters when they’re solo rooms). As a first time visitor I’m unsure as to whether there are any differences between the rooms but knew that I had booked room 1, so why this was then given to someone else I’m unsure. If they’re all identical then why make people choose which room upon booking. I was then finally led to room 3 instead. To say I was surprised at the state of the room would be an understatement. The floor was wet from the prior session - I had been led in in my socks without warning. The shower was rusted, grimy and totally uninviting (to the degree where I of course had the obligatory shower pre-float but actually chose to make the half hour drive home caked in salt rather than go back in it after floating). The included shower products were unlabelled so difficult to make an informed choice of whether to use them (both ethically and on sensitive skin) and were instead housed in a 2* hotel style dispenser, on which 2/3 buttons were somewhat broken. Perhaps your clientele regularly stole bottles of good quality branded product prior so this was to solve an issue but I have seen many better solutions to such a problem. The paintwork was bashed and peeling all around the room. The one provided towel was small, scratchy, thin and off-white. I would recommend at least a separate towel for hair and body. I honestly felt uncomfortable and unclean in the space. It resembled a student housing bathroom. I had to mentally eliminate the thought that the tank may be equally badly preserved and just get in hoping for the best. Everything with the tank/float was fine, thankfully this is a somewhat universal experience! After finishing I made my way back to reception passing 2 different staff members who didn’t interact with me. I was unsure where to leave my towel or if I needed to sign out etc. I hovered for a while and then decided that must be it and I should just leave. My husband waiting in the car outside was surprised at how quickly I had come out and asked me how everything was, particularly the sorbet and tea afterwards.. I had no idea what he was talking about. At no point had I been offered these things but he had researched and booked the session for me as a pregnancy relaxation treat and had seen these itemised as included as part of the relaxation following the float. I’m not sure where it was intended that I would enjoy this relaxation - not on the basic chair in the actual float room I presume so perhaps in reception/shop… Overall this was just not a £75 experience. For this kind of experience the least you expect is cleanliness, a welcoming relaxing environment where everything is made clear to you and premium products on offer in the included amenities.

Fantastic experience: I had an incredible three-hour experience at The Float Spa in Hove, indulging in self-care and relaxation. Our visit started with a 30-minute infrared sauna session, which was the perfect way to begin. Following this, I received an hour-long deep tissue massage from the incredible Bence Bors. His intense massage left my body feeling completely revitalized and ready for the next part of our journey—an hour in the float tank. Floating in magnesium-based Epsom salts was extraordinary. The list of benefits is endless, providing total relaxation and healing for both body and mind. I particularly enjoyed turning off the light and floating in silence, experiencing the best kind of sensory deprivation for utter relaxation and self-reflection. The warm greeting from Ashka set a lovely tone for our visit. The Float Spa truly is a hidden gem that exudes wellness and care. Our experience was just the tip of the iceberg; they also offer yoga, energy healing, health coaching, nutrition, and more. It’s a one-stop shop for self-love and self-care. Camille, you must be so proud of what you’ve created—it’s wonderful. We can’t wait to return. Thank you, The Float Spa! For anyone who hasn’t visited yet, you simply must go. Fantastic experience: I started having a float the end of last year. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. After speaking to them about some health issues I started combining the float and infrared sauna. The combination has really helped and my body looks forward to the experience. The Float Spa is a lovely place to visit, the ambiance is great and you are invited to have a sit down tea after your spa treatment. I love it and highly recommend having a go or looking at the site, there are many classes and therapies. I would like to thank all the staff for being so attentive, helpful and welcoming, making the whole experience enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I visited The Float Spa for a massage with Nathan and a float. The massage was by far the best I’ve ever had, a perfect balance of releasing tension but not too intense. I had the float afterwards (my first experience floating) and it was so enjoyable I’ve already booked my next. The state of calm you can reach whilst floating is blissful. They brought me tea afterwards and it was the perfect end to my experience. The premises and staff are lovely and I’ll definitely be booking in for more treatments and classes here in the future, they’ve got so many things to offer!

This not only helps in setting balanced goals but also in ensuring we have the resources to achieve them. Fantastic experience: This is a beautifully relaxing place. So many therapies available plus yoga as well as the floats and infrared saunas. I love floating, its the only place where I can switch off completely in a matter of moments. Delightful and very restorative.

Fantastic experience: I had my first float yesterday and I loved it. I came out feeling very relaxed and this feeling lasted for the rest of the day. Prior to going, I watched the video induction which was so useful. It gave me all the information I needed to put me a ease on my first visit. The staff were very helpful and the spa was clean and peaceful. Thank you for a great experience and I am looking forward to my next float soon.

I felt Rebecca heard what I needed and from this place she develop a plan forward that fits into my routine and capabilities. I wanted to relax and switch off, I wanted to be understood and that’s exactly what I got. A beautiful experience.

Really experienced teachers means classes that suit a range of levels, a spirit of enquiry tempered with the knowledge that every body is different and we each feel differently each day. Fantastic experience: OMG!!!! I was very lucky to receive a gift voucher for my Christmas present. I had a session in the sauna, a float and a massage. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The float experience was something I had never experienced before and was absolutely amazing. My skin still feels so soft four days later. The massage was so good and relaxing I nearly feel asleep. The sauna was really nice, it didn't leave me feeling all sweaty like other saunas I've had in the past. A lovely experience. Thank you so much to all the staff for giving me an amazing time. I would recommend you.
