Fantastic experience: Fabulous,friendly, inclusive studio which is an excellent place to train in karate, kickboxing, taekwondo etc. My child (aged 12) loves it. They cater for all ages and abilities. Reasonably priced for superb training from skilled Masters!!!

Fantastic experience: absolutely amazing martial arts classes! Ive never been into martial arts, and it never really crossed my mind, but so glad it did after a while! I’m only doing the kickboxing as that sparks my interest the most but I honestly couldn’t recommend SESMA enough. Really friendly instructors who are patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and supportive, and overall they have a great community. It’s an excellent & fun way to stay (or get) fit, strong & flexible, also works wonders for stamina, power & endurance too. I always look forward to going to the kickboxing sessions, even if I’ve had a long day. SESMA is amazing!

Fantastic experience: I joined SESMA 2 years ago, to help with my mobility. I have multiple chronic health conditions. The Sensei's at SESMA are friendly, helpful, patient. It has allowed me to be more mobile, confident, stronger and social. Unlike other dojo's I have been to, SESMA is a welcoming place, free of elitists and in no way intimidating. Highly recommend SESMA for youngsters and adults.

Fantastic experience: Arguably one of the best if not the best Karate school in the country. Super friendly, like a family, technically very high standard, which is reflected in their ongoing high numbers of Team GB members and World Championship titles. They do parent and child classes and it’s such a nice way to spend time together and do something for your coordination, fitness, flexibility, strength, balance and stamina, which is so important for health and longevity. My daughter has blossomed to be more confident again and it’s a joy to see how far she’s come. They are also trained and equipped to teach children with educational needs. We also enjoy the special events such as the games evening and the paddle board family day. Very happy that we’ve joined, as it so much more than just a sports club.

Fantastic experience: I've tried marshal arts a couple of times at other places but found the classes to be overly serious and elitist. But at SESMA, right from the outset, the staff and students have all been really friendly and welcoming. I've had been coming here for just over a year for karate lessons with my son when I decided to sign up for kickboxing as well. It's a great addition to the karate and means I'm in the dojo 3 days a week doing things I wish I'd taken up decades ago (I'm 43)! If you're at all nervous about taking up martial arts, sign up for a trial and give it a go.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to SESMA Little Dragons for a few months now. She absolutely loves going to classes and then showing family and friends her new skills! The instructors are enthusiastic and keep the learning fun every time. I highly recommend SESMA.

Fantastic experience: Our son has Autism and we want to help him with all the tasks that he really struggled with, focus, balance, social skills and interaction skills, confidence meltdowns, so after a chat with master Wayne he started at SESMA, in under 18 months he has gained all his belts in little dragons and has processed to jr karate and currently a red belt, we can not thank master Wayne, Sensei Tom and his team enough on how you have encouraged, helped and nurtured him from a little one who would meltdown within 5 minutes of being there, moving up from little dragons he wouldn’t even enter the room and you put in extra support to help him for a few weeks, he’s now this confident thriving lad and it’s down to you guys for believing in him and never giving up on him when it was tough on him, you the class, and the parents. I love it so much it’s improved both my physical and mental health as well as my overall outlook on fitness. The instructors are focused and attentive and there’s a terrific social side as well of specially organised events.

Fantastic experience: We booked a nerf battle party for our sons 6th birthday with sesma studio and it was a complete hit. The kids absolutely had a blast and the adults all enjoyed watching them. Run very well and the children had a member of staff constantly to guide and supervise them. Would highly recommend as something different for a kids birthday party! Thank you Sesma :)

Fantastic experience: Attended the women’s self defence course October 22nd . Lots of great advice delivered in a professional but fun way . Really enjoyed the evening and would recommend anyone thinking of going along to do so .

Fantastic experience: My little boy has been going since he was 4 (now 9) the classes are professional, well run, balance discipline and fun especially for the little ones. The instructors are friendly and welcoming and the facilities are great. I’ve also had a number of children’s party at the studio and they are BRILLIANT the children have the best time. It’s great being part of the SESMA family!

The amount of support that they have provided especially over the last year through Covid offering zoom lessons most days during lockdown which were a god send to help maintain some sort of normality. Fantastic experience: I started karate at Sesma in Feb 2004, it used to be at the Bob Carter Centre Drayton at first where i started.Master Wayne & Sue his wife made me feel very welcome and the other instructors were very nice and welcoming also.Now the studio where we train is one of the best ive seen, brillant dojo, gym, parents room so you can watch your children train, lots of childrens activitys during school holidays. Everyone their, instructors,students, parents etc are like one big family we are all very friendly and have fun also. Over the years i achieved 2nd brown belt along with my daughter who achieved the same grade she left to do her school leavers exams ,even my two sons achieved there coloured belts until football came first so i carryed on by myself . The support ive received at Sesma has been unconditional , the instructors have been very helpful and helped me so much over the years with my training and also as a friend as well .After a break i now train in kickboxing alongside my daughter again and my daughter in law. I just cant keep away from Sesma i always come back ,it holds a special place in my heart , great place to train and achieve what ever you want to achieve , but the support you will get will be 100%.

Fantastic experience: Karate or kickboxing for us.. 4 times a week. Started taking our then 6 year old to help him focus at school. He loved it...he has moved on to kickboxing now and the OH has joined for adult kickboxing lessons. Great for all ages... Both getting fit and happy and enjoying it. They would go more if they could.

Fantastic experience: My son joined Sesma as a Little Dragon (aged 5), he had been to a different martial arts school but didn't get on too well so a friend recommended Sesma to me. The reasons I wanted my children to be involved with a martial art is for confidence, social skills, fitness and to be able to look after themselves. My son was shy and submissive, I was worried this would hold him back in school and as he got older. I am pleased to say joining Sesma has really helped him, he is much more confident now, has no troubles talking and socialising with peers. He is no longer submissive, he can stand up for himself so doesn't get pushed around and he would never use the skills he has learnt in the wrong way or aggressively. He has a fit and healthy attitude and lifestyle and understands about different muscles and what your body needs to function well. As a result of him joining my husband and daughter have also joined and they are all enjoying it. Sesma is a friendly and safe environment for children of all ages, the instructors and staff at Sesma are all friendly and helpful and happy to help with any matter, query or concern you or your child may have. There are lots of extra fun activities throughout the year that are put on for the children and members of Sesma and their families. I am happy that my children go there and hope they will reach their potential and stay with Sesma for a long time to come.
