We are a private fitness studio in the centre of Hoyland. Specialising in small group Personal Training and Bootcamps. We also offer Physiotherapy and Sports Massage Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I met Lisa years ago on the school run in her early days of becoming a personal trainer. We’ve trained on fields, in her back garden, at other gyms until she finally achieved her dream of owning her own gym. I’m so proud of Lisa and the community she’s built- she thoroughly deserves all her success. I’ve been to big gyms, small gyms and trained on my own over the years, but I always come back to Red Fox- we work hard, laugh hard and complain (a lot), and Mikey occasionally tries to break us- but I always walk out happier than when I went in, which in my book is a 100% measure of success

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Lisa for over seven years now, and in that time, she has completely transformed the way I look at fitness, health, and even myself. When I first started, I was nervous, unconfident, and unsure if I would ever stick to a training routine. We began training in the comfort of my home, and from day one, she made me feel supported, encouraged, and capable. As the years went on, our training sessions evolved. Fantastic experience: I always thought gyms were just places to change your body; but I never expected one help me find myself again. After a difficult couple of years, I walked through the doors unsure of what I was even looking for. But in just 6 weeks, this small, welcoming gym has become a space I genuinely look forward to. The trainers are supportive without being overbearing, the small group sessions are focused and encouraging, and the people around you make you feel like you belong. Fantastic experience: I have been attending this gym for 10 months and it is the longest I’ve ever stayed at one place. I have found Lisa and her team to be very friendly and supportive with all aspects of exercise and nutrition advice. I have gradually toned up and have also improved my fitness and diet along the way. Everyone is friendly and you always feel welcome. I would 100 percent recommend Red Fox to anyone thinking about joining. You will have a laugh and feel better, even when you’re not in the mood to exercise you will always leave feeling so much better and glad you made the decision to go.

Fantastic experience: Training with Lisa has massively improved not only my physical health but my mental health too has been amazing! I feel so much more confident in myself and I’ve also met some lovely supportive friends ontop that I train with every week! I couldn’t recommend coming to red fox enough to anyone, it’s an amazing community where we all support and motivate eachother as a team and it’s not a daunting experience at all when coming for the first time- as I know many gyms can be overwhelming but red fox is the exact opposite! If anyone is thinking about joining then do! From nutrition to cardio to weight training there’s nothing that Lisa and the team won’t cover with you!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love my sessions with Lisa, Mikey & Heather! I have been going to Red fox for 8 months now and have seen a massive improvement in my fitness journey and health. Fantastic experience: Lisa Miller is the owner and my named PT. She took time to listen to my health and fitness issues, establishing what my goal was and constantly updates my training plan. Since starting i can now say i have better control of my breathing, i have more stamina, my leg muscles are growing and my heart rate is getting lower. I would never have thought I'd fit into a gym environment but it's been such a welcoming environment. I can honestly say that i would recommend Red Fox at any fitness level.

Fantastic experience: An amazing growing community where everyone supports one another. Many people dread the gym due to awkwardness, fear of the unknown etc, this is a great place to get started with great challenge and encouragement, and you will see quick rewards physically. Fantastic experience: Great little gym! Done a post menopausal 56 year old with arthritic hands the power of good. My strength has improved massively and my head space feels so much better. Don’t just think about it , try it…I did and never looked back! Great mates made too!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to red fox now for about 9 months. I was at a real low in my life and was struggling with confidence. I can honestly say it was the best thing I did. It’s not only a gym it’s a family. The girls are all so friendly and welcoming, it’s not like a normal gym. All the groups are so supportive and Lisa and heather are so lovely, kind and supportive although sometimes mean . Everyone cheers each other along and encourage each other. Dont hesitate to join, I wish I had started sooner ☺️

Fantastic experience: I’ve never stuck to the gym before as I’ve never enjoyed it but then I found Red Fox training. I joined a 6 week bootcamp programme at the start of September and even though it’s been hard, it’s given me the push and boost I needed. I can’t recommend it enough!! The group are always so supportive and Lisa and Heather are amazing at what they do.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing the shred program since May this year and thoroughly love it! I thought doing a 6 week program would get me back into exercise and it certainly has and I’m now signed up to the monthly membership. The small groups, Lisa’s support and the other ladies doing the same all make for a friendly, supportive and enjoyable experience that I look forward to. I’ve never been this consistent with exercise and I’m reaping the rewards in terms of fitness, mental wellbeing and flexibility. I also love all the extra bits as part of the membership, the nutritional support, the discounts etc.

Fantastic experience: I started training at red fox three months ago and I love it. Small classes with friendly people that keep me motivated to keep turning up. Each class is different to keep things interesting but not too overwhelming to be intimidating. I train three times a week and enjoy it every time.

Fantastic experience: I joined Red Fox Training at the end of April and enjoy it so much I've already increased my classes from 2 to 3 a week. If the thing putting you off is walking into a room full of people that know eachother and feeling alone (was my concern), then there's no need to worry. Your made to feel very welcome, we all talk to eachother and have a giggle. You soon feel like part of the Red Fox family. If the thing putting you off is your age and ability to do certain things, again don't worry, Lisa and her team will adapt whatever necessary but still challenge and push you to do your best. My favourite thing about this gym is that every session is different. I hate classes where you do the same things week in/week out. It's gets boring and your body gets used to it. No danger of that at Red Fox! I personally love the Group PT/Feeling Foxy sessions but there's a variety of classes on offer (including Mens only). Overall I love that this is small, privately run business that doesn't have the typical gym feel to it, it's clear Lisa has put her heart and soul into this place over the last few years and the success of it shows.

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend this place enough. I have issues with cardio and high intense workouts so it was intimidating at first, but Lisa has been amazing at working with me during personal training, never pushing me but still me motivating to improve. Ive moved onto group training now and more than anything every session is full of laughs. I feel like you really become part of a team with Red Fox, which is something I never expected. SO much more fun than a boring session at the gym.

Fantastic experience: As an eternal exercise-phobe red fox classes have been an absolute game changer for me. Having always been to embarrassed to go to a gym, or to shy for classes this friendly and supportive group of ladies have been wonderful. Lisa is brilliant pushing me to my limit but not to the point of not enjoying it, and the other members are so warm and supportive I have never felt judged nor embarrassed to be there. When I started I didn’t know what a burpee was or how to use the equipment but everyone is really supportive and it really feels like a team effort for everyone to succeed and do their best. I’m just coming to the end of my first 6 week accelerator block, and I genuinely really enjoy the lessons and feel so much better! I have already signed up for the next block!

Fantastic experience: After having my second baby in August I really struggled to get back into my fitness. I was getting more & more unhappy with the way I looked and creating a really unhealthy relationship with food (eating my emotions!) I had been following Red Fox on Facebook for a while & when my partner asked what I wanted for my birthday my response was the 6 week accelerator. 5 weeks in I am absolutely loving it and feeling so much better physically and mentally. Everyone is so welcoming and the coaches are amazing. I genuinely look forward to every class and will definitely be signing up to a regular membership after my second 6 week accelerator. If you are thinking about it absolutely go for it! X

Fantastic experience: Signed up to the first 6 weeks men’s challenge in Febuary 2024, just finished week 4. I was rather nervous after not training for a few years but I have already signed up for the next one starting in April. I am feeling physically and mentally fitter, but at the same time we have a laugh whilst training. Lisa and Mikey push us to our own abilities and throughly feel comfortable there.

Fantastic experience: I joined Red Fox Training late 2022, just before I turned 60. I wanted to improve my fitness etc, but didn't want to join a big gym/ sports centre, where you can feel overwhelmed and lost. Lisa gives you plenty of encouragement and support, and along with Mikey, helps you achieve your fitness goals. Everyone is so friendly and it has given me more confidence in myself, it definitely doesn't matter how old you are. Thanks Lisa & Red Fox Training

Positive experience: I wasn't sure if Red Fox Boot Camp was going to be good for me, at 64. I was made to feel very welcome and was eased in gently by Lisa and Mikey. They push you, but also adjust the activities depending on ability. I feel great after completing a session and am confident that I am getting more toned. Come and try a class, you won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I found Red Fox Training after being out of any exercise for 5 years after having my little girl. I started the womens 6 week challenge in January 24 and have met so many amazing women here, now currently into week 10 and signed up for another 6. Lisa is a God send and pushes you to your goals! Such a great and encouraging community!

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend Red Fox training . Lisa is amazing and will help you all the way . Iv not done any exercise in years and was nervous about getting back in to some training/ found it hard to find my motivation but I made to decision to visits red fox woman’s 6 week challenge and loved it iv even booked another 6 weeks . Very friendly and made to feel welcome by everyone’s.
