Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member at El Estudio Pilates for about seven months, and it’s been a fantastic experience throughout. The classes are high-quality and thoughtfully run. When I needed help with my membership, Ilya was incredibly understanding and arranged a plan to ensure I didn't lose my classes. Joining the studio has really helped me improve my strength and posture. I would highly recommend it!

Negative experience: Highly Disappointed by the Experience I was genuinely looking forward to joining and exploring this local studio, but unfortunately, my experience at one of their recent open days left me very disappointed. Rather than being welcomed as a potential new client, I was abruptly ushered out over a technicality. Instead of taking a moment to hear me out or try to find a reasonable solution, especially given there was clearly ample space, I was treated rudely and dismissed without consideration. It would have been far more appropriate to offer an alternative session or show a bit of understanding. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. It's a real shame, as I had high hopes for becoming part of the community here.

Negative experience: I really dislike writing bad reviews and only do it when I think is very warranted. I was part of another Pilate studio for six months doing classes twice a week in Bristol. When I moved to London I wanted to continue with Pilates due to chronic back pain. I was upfront about having issues with my back but was cleared by my doctor to do Pilates. One of my first lessons I approached the instructor to explain about my back issues (disc on lower back) and that there were certain exercises I had to be careful and not push myself because it could cause further injury. I had this same talk with at least 7 instructors at my last studio. All of them said “listen to your body, if you feel pain let me know and I will help you with accommodations for exercises”. The classes at my last studio had more people than classes here and every instructor managed to support me during lessons and help me exercise without further injury. So I approach the instructor at this studio to have the same conversation, privately, before class starts. I am then told there was no point in doing Pilates if I didn’t want to push myself, and then the teacher started to explain to the entire class while I stood there about how we are there to push our bodies no excuses etc. it was humiliating. It felt like I was being called lazy in front of the entire class. Same teacher was rude during lessons and when I tried to do exercises in a comfortable way to not further my back she would come and push me hard. First lesson I could not hear her well due to how noisy the studio is plus her strong accent and chose the wrong band for the reformer. I was then rudely told “you need to do what I say, you can just do what you want” and then after saying that to me she also started lecturing the entire class about how she knows better. It was just a mistake, but I was again embarrassed and felt told off in front of the entire class. Second issue is instructios have poor English skills. No problem; English is also my second language. But the instructors did not have enough grasp of English to teach the lessons! I could barely understand what I was told to do, when I was confused I kept being asked if I had the introduction class. I had done Pilates twice a week for six months! I know Pilates. I never had issues on my last studio because it was quiet, it was not an open space with reception and second class going around you. That plus most of the instructors not having the correct vocabulary to explain positions left me confused and making mistakes and interesting of showing kindness and helping me I was treated like I was stupid and not capable. It was also level 1, in no moment I booked lessons that were for advanced student. So if someone on level 1 feels lost or is still learning then should be treated with respect and offered help instead of being spoken to as if they are stupid. Again I never had issues following classes at my previous studio and if I made mistakes the teachers were always friendly and helpful. I felt so humiliated in every class that I couldn’t focus on my body and relax. Often I could see the entire class looking lost because they are were unable to follow instructions from teachers who could not explain things well enough in English. Lastly they introduced this rule that you had to pay £10 for last min cancellation. I understand losing the credit for the class, as you took the spot from someone else and you just have to pay for the class if you cancel without advance notice. That’s standard practice and understandable. But paying extra is absurd. People have lives. You may feel sick last min, you may have childcare issues, work may run late etc. I am disabled and sometimes am too sick to class and can’t cancel with notice. I accept I lost a credit but don’t feel in should pay more. Experience was so bad I paid for my last month but never booked classes since it only made me more stressed out. I don’t recommend this studio at all. I am hopeful I can find another one with better staff and customer service

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Pilates classes at El Estudio for nearly three years now and I can’t recommend these classes enough! When I first started I had zero flexibility, a non-existent core and terrible posture. What makes these classes so special is the attention to detail and corrections by Laura and the other instructors during the class. There’s a precision to Pilates, and these small adjustments help you with your form, so you that you feel each exercise in the correct manner. With regular classes, you start to see progression quickly in your ability and also in your body. There’s a beautiful Pilates community, it’s a friendly, clean and safe space. No matter what level of exercise ability - it’s welcoming for all. If you’re thinking about joining - let this review be your encouragement to do so! I wish I joined sooner. Fantastic experience: I had never tried Pilates before, but since joining El Estudio in Wembley Park, I've been really enjoying the classes. All instructors are fantastic, they genuinely motivate me to do my best and push myself in a positive, encouraging way. Both the tower and reformer classes are excellent: they're challenging yet enjoyable, with a great variety of exercises and everything you need. Since starting at El Estudio, I’ve noticed real improvements in myself, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-quality Pilates studio!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking classes at El Estudio Pilates for 3 and a half years now, and it has completely changed me (in a good way! :) When I first started, I was a total beginner, struggling with back pain all the time. However, since then, not only has my back pain completely disappeared, I’ve also gained so much strength and discovered how enjoyable these exercises can be. Laura is such a wonderful teacher—kind, patient, and motivating. She creates a supportive environment where you feel both comfortable and challenged. Highly recommended for everyone:)

Negative experience: Booked an open day to which the a text reminder stating the location was at their studio, so my friend and I arrived there. We were met by a reformer instructor who was quite rude and gave us unclear & incorrect directions to actual locations (“just outside to the right”). When we still couldn’t find the venue and returned for help, she was extremely unhelpful and even ruder. Very disappointing experience, we were so excited before

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend these classes. They are challenging but also relaxing and definitely works the muscles and helps with posture. Most of the instructors are really good and there are various classes and timings available.

Negative experience: Was keen to join Pilates and the studio looked cute but the staff at the front desk was super rude and not helpful at all and I felt like she was racist. Wont be going back

Fantastic experience: Fab class with Laura as always, greatly missed.

Negative experience: I wouldn’t go back. The instructor made an insulting comment and body shamed me. I’m a size 8 and she still managed to insult me in front of the entire class. It’s also disorganised and one class I arrive and the building was locked up.

Fantastic experience: This studio is great, I highly recommend them. I was brand new to reformer pilates and they are very friendly, have a great selection of classes from classic to athletic & even barre. The classes are challenging and rewarding and the instructors are brilliant. I've seen great improvement in my strength and flexibility since I started. If you're thinking about trying this place or looking for a studio don't hesitate to try here.

Fantastic experience: Have been with Anna and team for two months now and absolutely love it. Anna is a wonderful instructor. Reformer has helped me so much as I am a competitive weightlifter and cyclist. Would recommend Pilates to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic experience: Without a doubt the best Pilates in London! I’ve been a member for a few months and have been able to attend classes at both the wembley park and kensignton olympia studios. The atmosphere in the studios is so lovely- bright, clean spaces with soothing music during classes. All of the teachers provide really detailed instruction and they pay attention to our needs e.g if we have pain in some areas and correcting our form if necessary. I was a total beginner when I joined and now in level 2. I’m way stronger now and closer to my goals.

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing back pain and was recommended by hospital to try Pilates.I have been regularly going to see Laura and Betty ,I would highly recommend and found really helped with my lower back pain and now have a better posture and a strong core which support my back .absolutely ❤️ Pilates ,with there kind professional and supportive training skills and warm friendly environment and super clean studio .

Fantastic experience: After a long break from doing any kind of exercise and lacking any motivation in getting back into it, I found El Estudio Pilates and decided to give it a go. This place has made me gain my motivation for exercising again, not only because you get stronger but it also improves and helps with my back pain and general well-being. Starting from Sergio, who is always ready to help with anything needed behind the desk and Laura, who is so knowledgeable and experienced, you can see she's a passionate instructor and her teaching skills are on another level. I also absolutely love my classes with Vaneeta, her morning classes are the best way to start your day with. Harshita is just amazing, her classes are great and your legs and glutes will thank you! And Abhinay goes above and beyond in giving the best instructions during classes, your core will be on fire but who doesn't want a strong core!? I cannot recommend El Estudio enough, once you start you'll just keep going as results are visible both physically and mentally. The most amazing, knowledgeable and professional instructors who are also lovely people.

Fantastic experience: When I joined El Estudio, I was new to Pilates. I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it. I was pleasantly surprised. El Estudio has made me love Pilates. The owners Laura and Sergio are so welcoming and accommodating. I always have great laughs with Laura as an instructor. She is a master in her craft and explains everything so simply. The studio has a team of great instructors including Vaneeta and Abhinay who never disappoint when you’re looking for an intense workout. I leave their classes feeling very accomplished. I would 100% recommend this studio. You will love it!

Fantastic experience: This is my favourite pilates studio in London! After having tried other famous studios here — honestly, this is a game changer, they know what they are doing. Great teachers that challenge you — and a stunning, calm studio.

Fantastic experience: Laura is super attentive and is great when explaining/showing how each exercise should be done both during personal training and group classes. The classes will challenge you within your level but throughout her sense of humor makes it fun to work out. Post-surgery that impacted my arm, I was able to maintain full mobility of my arm thanks to my classes with her and was able to get back to working out as before, cannot recommend her and the studio enough!

Fantastic experience: I had a positive and enjoyable introduction to Pilates via the 'intro pack'. Laura is a master practitioner of her craft and will put you through her paces. She also has a cracking sense of humour. Thanks also to Sergio who is always friendly and accommodating of any request. The space itself is beautifully appointed with clean and well kept equipment and a nice ambience. I will definitely be back again.

Fantastic experience: Tried the intro pack and thoroughly enjoyed every class. Laura clearly knows her stuff and is a talented, and highly engaged instructor with a distinctive style of delivery. She’s passionate, lively and fun, but also deeply serious about ensuring you do the exercises in the right way for your safety and physical benefit. The studio is a lovely environment too - full classes but spacious, focused and calm. I’m inspired to buy a pack of 10 classes next to see where this could take me in my fitness.

Fantastic experience: Great Pilates Estudio in north-west London in the Wembley area. Great team and customer service Laura is an amazing teacher. You will feel inceridebley supported during the class and will really feel the benefits in a short period of time. I can't recommend El Estudio Pilates enough!

Fantastic experience: Cosy environment, all equipments are well-maintained and sanitised after uses. Numerous classes available throughout the week I can choose from. Laura is super professional, full of patience and experience. As a beginner, I started with trial lessons, she explains things clearly and demonstrate very well. I feel more confident and my posture is getting better. Will definitely keep on training!
