Fantastic experience: This is a special place. It is a community that welcomes new people even with no knowledge of capoeira of all ages. You learn the various moves, the songs and make a lot of friends.

I have been training here for a few years and it has truly enriched my life by providing not only a safe space to develop physically, but also mentally and emotionally through music, the Portuguese language, a supportive community, and adult friendships that can be quite hard to come by at this point in life. I would recommend everyone to join in the fun and try Capoeira with Mascote and Joyce!!

Fantastic experience: We bring our daughter here who has Down’s syndrome. They look after her very well and she always comes out with a beaming smile. It’s a great class and all the kids have fund and learn discipline as well.

Fantastic experience: Mascote&Joyce are absolutely lovely people and do a great job teaching kids and adults on Capoeira. We use to go with my daughter and was great fun, but proper training provided too with lots of music, rhythm and acrobatics. Due to relocation it’s a bit too far for us now, but otherwise easy location In Jewelleriy quarter. Great thing about Capoeira is that you don’t have full contact, but learn to defend during playing a game.
