Negative experience: I’ve been doing pole for 2 months at another studio where I’ve had three different instructors (all incredible) but decided to try this place because their timetable offered more class options. Unfortunately, the experience was awful. The instructor didn’t introduce herself or acknowledge new participants. I have a brain condition, which I mentioned in the online form prior to attending, but she never asked about it or checked if there was anything she should be aware of to ensure my safety. The class was quite full (about 11 people) and the instructor didn’t tell me or my friend we needed mats for the warm-up. Another student had to show us where they were. The music was loud so it was hard to hear instructions and the class structure was confusing. She would quickly demonstrate three completely different moves (advancing in skillset) even though this was advertised as a complete beginner class. It also says that this class is for people who aren’t yet inverting but by the end, she was giving us the option to invert. If this was my first ever pole class, I would have left feeling like pole is not something I have the ability to do. There was very little guidance or correction while we were practicing. We’d get one quick demo, then be left to figure it out on our own. My lower back is now sore, and overall the class felt unsafe. When we asked for help, the instructor seemed annoyed at having to explain/break down moves- and only came over when prompted. The only person who checked on us unprompted was another staff member named Danni, who was lovely. The cooldown lasted barely two minutes, and the overall atmosphere was unfriendly and uncomfortable. It didn’t feel welcoming or safe, and I wouldn’t recommend this studio to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Xpole Academy for a while now, and it’s hands down a fantastic pole studio! The teachers are truly exceptional—highly skilled, supportive, and great at adapting to each student’s level, ensuring you feel comfortable and safe. The studio itself is absolutely beautiful and spacious, with impressively tall poles that make for an incredible experience. There’s also plenty of parking available in the adjacent car park, which is super convenient. The classes are incredible, and I’ve seen so much progress in my pole journey since starting here. There’s a wonderful variety of classes to choose from, including pole, heels, silks, hammock, and hoop, which keeps things exciting and challenging. The memberships are fantastic value at just £100 for 5 weeks, offering a wide range of classes every day and evening. It’s easy to get your money’s worth with so many options available. One of the standout aspects of Xpole Academy is the sense of community. Everyone is so supportive, and the studio often organizes free events for members. For example, the recent movie and pizza night was such a fun experience! I highly recommend Xpole Academy to anyone looking to start or continue their pole journey. It’s a welcoming, professional, and inspiring place to learn and grow.

Fantastic experience: I have been a student at x pole for over a year, x pole academy is like home for me and not because of how much time I spend there but because of how kind and supportive the staff and students are. The teaching standards are high and all the teachers are understanding of all abilities and body’s. I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough if you are thinking of coming just come you will fall in love with the studio like I have.

Fantastic experience: The best studio around! The studio is beautiful and the teachers are soo knowledgable. The pricing is great and there’s a wide variety of classes to attend every night. What’s not to love!!

Fantastic experience: Lovely big and bright studio, very clean and well equipped! The teachers are amazing especially Evie who teaches aerial hoop. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and classes are always varied with great value class pack and membership options. Only con for me is location, it's not the easiest if you are coming by foot or public transport.

Positive experience: Been coming here since 2023. Such a clean studio and the teachers are super kind and helpful. The pole studio shares a space with the Ariel space as well so there’s not a lot of poles but still good for classes as it doesn’t get overcrowded.
