Fantastic experience: I don't know how PTs are supposed to work as this is my first time ever going to one, but I'm loving it. It's not only the advice and support Shaun gives; he has the patience of a saint and works with you to ensure your technique is correct. He also listens to what his customers want, adapting classes and times to their needs, and even arranges a few fun days out every few weeks..
Fantastic experience: I have been training with SIM for the past 8 months and can't rate them highly enough. Everyone at the gym is friendly and welcoming and there is a real community feel to the place. The PT's are extremely knowledgeable and are on hand in every session to tailor the workout to your individual ability. Your membership covers everything you need and regular organised events such as cold water swimming and hill climbs, help make you feel part of the group and keep you on track with your goals. Would highly recommend joining.
Fantastic experience: Joined SiM about 7months ago and I have really enjoyed my training since. Classes and members are all very friendly and the Small Group Training sessions are always a great bunch of people and brilliant value for money, the training & advice you get from the welcoming and professional coaches is excellent. It’s the most comfortable I’ve felt in the gym in a long time – which shows with the results I’m getting!
Fantastic experience: Fabulous gym. I joined Jan 24 having never been in a gym for over 15 years. Training sessions with shaun are always in small groups with a max of 6 people at any point which means you are supported so always know what you are doing. I suffered a lot with hip and joint pain and wasn't sure if going to the gym would help however I can honestly say it has changes my life. I have lost almost 2 stone in weight and feel fitter than ever. I would highly recommend joining!!!
Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending strength and movement classes since last August now and Quite frankly it is the best group training I have ever been to. I’ve been to many fitness classes and gyms in the last few years and can guarantee you Shaun is without a doubt one of the best trainers out there. The group is super friendly, and no matter your fitness level, you’ll feel right at home. Everyone’s fitness levels are different yet everyone gets exactly what they need. Shaun just seems to strike the perfect balance, pushing everyone at their own pace without any judgment. Wither you’re a total beginner or have been training for years, I can promise that you’ll 100% get a solid workout. I’ve met so many awesome people since starting and The team are what make each and every session worth turning up. The flexibility of classes are also awesome with a choice with a variety of classes to choose from. My fitness levels have improved massively since in the last 10 months and I am pleased to say I I have lost 3 stone which I could not do without Shaun and the team. I feel so much more confident, stronger, fitter and not to mention the 10,000 steps before 8am are a bonus. If you’re thinking about trying strength and movement then I couldn’t recommend it enough!! Go for it! Trust me you won’t look back!
Fantastic experience: Shaun and the guys have been brilliant helping me get back into the gym after a very long hiatus. I was lacking a lot of confidence and struggling with daily tasks, but they've been nothing but supportive and accomodating over the year I've been attending. Really good community spirit in the gym as well - can't fault a single thing! X
Fantastic experience: Been coming to SIMs gym now for almost a year and would recommend to anyone. Always a comfortable, friendly and motivated environment and was made to feel welcome instantly. Workouts can always be tailored to individual’s needs eg. injury, workout goals or like myself who is pregnant just now able to still come and keep my body moving within my limitations. The coaches are always approachable and put you at ease. I’m looking forward to next year to getting back into my fitness goals postpartum with a tailored programme tracking meals, workouts and getting the support needed from coaches to achieve good results.
Fantastic experience: The best gym I’ve trained in. Great atmosphere great bunch of people and the coaches attention to detail is second to none. They cater to the Individual as opposed to a blanket formula that might or might not work like most other PTs. My most consistent training has come from strength in movement.
Fantastic experience: The absolute best if you're looking to make serious and long lasting changes to your fitness/body shape. The knowledge that Shaun and Stephen have is, in my opinion, unmatched by anyone else. It's worth every single penny and there aren't enough superlatives to describe how good these guys are.
Fantastic experience: I was nervous to join Strength in Movement however Shaun and Stephen both were so welcoming as was all of the other members. This is the longest I have maintained any pt / group pt membership and I don't plan on ending it any time soon. I moan every day on the hours working up to my sessions and moan in my sessions but the fact that I am still here just about 8 months later from singing up speaks volumes! Great team!
Fantastic experience: Whether you are just a beginner, or experienced trainer with goals to improve your overall training journey then SiM is the place for you. It's more than a gym, it's a welcoming environment with friendly people and knowledgeable personal trainers with a more open minded concept if what a gym should be like. They offer a wide range of approaches, and not just gym based. If you're fed up with busy, overcrowded gyms full of people who make your time there feel awkward and intimidating then get in touch with Shaun or Stevie. Best thing I ever did!!!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a gym where you can feel confident and comfortable, then I would strongly encourage you to try Strength in Movement. Stephen and Shaun have created a community within the gym. Bringing people together through workshops, team hikes and cold dips in the lochs. Previously, the biggest hurdle for me when going to a normal gym, was I just did the same things over again. Here the team advise you on what you should be doing, explaining the benefits and correcting any wrong doings.

Fantastic experience: I started with half of SiM over 2 years ago now and have loved every moment since. It’s been great to see the growth and progression into what is now SiM and enjoy the regular activities as well as finding my passion for the gym! Fantastic experience: I joined strength in movement about 3 months ago, I’ve tried countless times to get into gymming/exercising regularly but have never been able to stick to it. I’ve had the completely opposite experience with strength in movement, I feel so much more motivated because it’s such an easygoing, encouraging and fun environment to be in, I honestly look forward to my evening classes! Stephen and Shaun are incredibly knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions! I’ve also never been to a gym that offers optional social events like hiking, comedy nights, informative sessions, halloween parties, the list goes on! Obviously reaching your goal weight is a bonus, have been trying for 5 years to lose some weight, after 3 months with SIM I’ve lost almost 10kg, couldn’t recommend these guys enough. (They also make you a cup of tea if you’re early for a class, what more could you want?)

Fantastic experience: Joined strength in movement around 3 months ago, looking to lose weight for an upcoming holiday. Think I was a kick in the arse off 21st at the time, and I’m nearly down to 18st - I couldn’t have done it without Shaun n Stevie’s assistance. Two of the very best, approachable, knowledgable and sometimes funny guys! It’s because of them, and the community feel around the place that makes you want to sign up for your classes every week… the added bonus is of course the weight coming off, and looking and feeling good about yourself. It doesn’t stop at the studio doors! The boys put on hill walking days out, cold water therapy, informative seminars and nights out. I’ve never really like working out, but I feel all my inhibitions are taking care of when walking through the doors at strength in movement. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

Fantastic experience: Started training with Shaun and Stephen recently and they are brilliant. As someone who has never really stuck in at the gym they have been brilliant in building my confidence and knowledge in the best way to train and look after myself. Couldn't recommend them more they are fantastic!
