Hi, my name is Lou Thursfield and I am Warrington's Body Transformation Specialist. Through a combination of Online Coaching, nutritional guidance and Personal Training, I'll help you to achieve an incredible body transformation. All in the comfort of my private studio in Stockton Heath, I'll remove the guesswork out of diet and exercise so you can focus your energy into creating a body you can be proud of.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Lou I got into great shape ready for my honeymoon! Lou has provided a first class experience that has enabled me to lose fat, gain muscle mass and build good habits. I really enjoy the weekly PT sessions that get the best out of me. The training plans are carefully planned and tailored to my goals. These are regularly changed to ensure they don’t get tiresome. One of the best things I have learned is how to appropriately plan my nutrition when in a deficit, the strategy really helps keep the hunger away! Lou managed to hold me to account in a supportive way which didn’t feel pushy or judgy. As a result, I managed to get into the best shape of my life. I highly recommend Lou to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I am a client with Lou and have just started my second block of 12 weeks. I am an avid exerciser and attend many varied classes a week. I am nearly 60 years old and want to be the best version of myself when I hit this milestone. I have had PT at the gym but wanted something more specific and more tailored to me that also included nutrition/diet and accountability. I didn’t have lots of weight to loose (I was 9st 10.8) but wanted to move some stubborn lbs but more specifically become stronger, leaner and more defined and build muscle. I have achieved so much thanks to Lou. He listens and pushes you to achieve your goals. My diet has been great, my weight has shifted, my body shape has changed so much. But most importantly I am so strong, healthier, and happier mentally because of these achievements. Sadly I didn’t take before photos but I have lost the 13 lbs (now 8st 12.3) I wanted I have lost 11 1/2 inches. Thank you! I am excited to see where I can take this and how much more I can do. If anyone is thinking of taking on a PT please look no further than Lou. You just need to commit and you will achieve so much. He is so good at what he does, the sessions are enjoyable, the nutrition plan is easy to follow, great accountability. Just do it!

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Lou for 12 weeks. In that time I have lost 28 lbs in weight and 6 inches from my waist. The whole experience is very professional, Lou understood my goals and provided me with a nutrition plan and was always keen to answer any questions. In the training sessions Lou is supportive, pushing me to improve with every exercise. I have been provided with exercise on an app to do at home or when I have been away on holiday. I can’t recommend Lou enough. I look forward to each session and will be continue to be coached by Lou.

Fantastic experience: I had an incredible/transformational experience working with Lou! His expertise, dedication, and personalised approach truly transformed my fitness journey and allowed me to lose over 15Kg. Fantastic experience: Lou has guided me through a 16 week programme which I’ve just completed and finished with a massive 40 pounds off and 7 inches off my waist. I looked forward to every session and if you trust his method and stick with it the results come fast. I opted for Lou as I got one to one sessions tailored for me and weekly support, progress photos and monthly reports from him showing me how my strength was increasing and that all important waist line was reducing. Guidance whenever I needed it and the hour with him each week was a chance to ask questions and check in while he guided me through a session. Can’t compliment Lou and his work any higher he is a top notch coach and a great guy. Thanks Lou !

Fantastic experience: I worked with Lou as my online coach for 4 months, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Over that time, I lost close to 2st sustainably and felt myself getting noticeably stronger in the gym. I learned so much about calorie management and planning ahead, which made it easy to stay on track while still enjoying weekends out and social events. Lou checked in with me on WhatsApp three times a week, which really helped with accountability and motivation. We also had monthly phone check-ins to review progress and adjust any goals or focus areas. His app is super easy to use and made tracking food, steps, and workouts really straightforward. Lou’s a genuinely great guy—motivating, approachable, and clearly passionate about helping his clients succeed. Can’t recommend him highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Louis is wonderful in every way. I am a menopausal woman who had almost given up on fat loss. Yet in only 5 months, I am down 33lbs with no hunger! When I fall off the wagon he knows exactly what to say to get me back on track. It’s like having a fat loss wizard in my pocket. Slowly but surely together we are reversing the negative self-talk in my head. Louis has a great system of a proper chat beforehand to find out the issues and see if we could work together- with me it was stubborn weight loss, complete overwhelm and a feeling of defeat after trying so many diets. It was immediately obvious he not only knew his stuff but was warm and encouraging. We discussed what type of eating plan I would like, and he gave me the confidence to go for it. I haven’t looked back. Alongside this he set up a weight training programme where I see clear progress day in and day out. It is very motivating and enables me to be consistent - something I previously struggled with. He uses a clever system where he can see what I’m logging on MyFitnessPal and how the workouts are going. I love the accountability. Although I have lost 33lbs so far - this is just the beginning. With Louis’ knowledge I want to completely recomposition my body and head into my older years as strong and in the best shape of my life. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Lou highly enough, he is passionate about helping people realise their unlimited potential! I first visited Lou, carrying a rotator cuff injury, after being told I need to strengthen my shoulder muscles. I am a keen Pilates student who has never lifted weights so Lou produced a personalised programme and nutrition plan, which had me hooked. Lou keeps in touch supporting, encouraging, celebrating successes and reminding me of my goals when I stray from the path! I love my weekly visits, I feel stronger, fitter and healthier than ever and I’m now within a couple of kilos of my target weight. My shoulder issue has completely disappeared. Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Lou for a number of months now and he is hands down the best personal trainer I have ever had. He is knowledgable, motivating and knows how to get results. I was able to reach my goal weight and fitness level without having to sacrifice too much of the things I love, meaning it is actually enjoyable and I wasn’t dreading boring meals and workouts as I have done previously. The process has taught me how to stay consistent and not yo-yo, so I now feel comfortable and happy in my own skin! Fantastic experience: Coached by Lou, amazing 1-2-1 personal training I am at the much older age range of Lou’s clients and have replacement joints and other mobility issues but Lou has skilfully and patiently worked out a programme for me to help move me forward to achieve fitness goals that I could not have imagined when I commenced in January. Fantastic experience: Coached by Lou is a game changer! Having fairly and squarely arrived at middle age’dom, I was gifted a nutrition and training package with Lou. Once over the emotional trauma of a partner basically saying “YOU NEED EXERCISE” I contacted Lou to begin my journey. Having trained historically, it was immediately obvious that Lou is an expert! Lou took time to fully understand me before setting a super-clear yet realistically tailored plan. This clear and simple plan is manged via an app on your phone. Lou’s communication is excellent providing all necessary support, encouragement and ‘direct advice’ (where necessary). On more than one occasion, I benefited from Lou’s ability to provide focus in ‘getting back on track’. Lou manages all aspects brilliantly! Training Training at Lou’s gym is fantastic. It’s particularly well-equipped. Without doubt, the best bit of kit in there … is Lou! Sessions are really well planned and supported. Lou’s ability to achieve progress seems effortless and is done in a truly relaxed and humorous way. Goals With Lou’s support, I have achieved my goal of losing (1 stone) over the plan. Fantastic experience: Over the years I've seen many personal trainers, spent a fortune at gyms I've hardly visited, and yet still been unable to find my fitness mojo! Having discovered Lou last autumn I finally feel like I've hit the jackpot! The bespoke 1:1 strength training, tailored calorie counting and around the clock support have been spot on, and the results speak for them selves. I have been amazed how the combination of strenghth training and daily steps and diet have totally transformed my shape without a burpee in sight! It has been so refreshing to get these results without feeling as though I need to push myself through HIT workout after hit workout! From advice on what to eat in the local restaurants in Stockton Heath to high protein recipies to make at home he's got your diet covered. I had some weights at home which Lou designed a home work out around so I can do some extra sessions if I want to - and for my holiday I was sent a short programme to do at the hotel gym so I can off- set my gin & tonics! All of this info is easily accessible on Lou's app which puts calorie counting, weigh-ins, steps and workouts at your fingertips. Having that accountability has been crucial for me to finally knuckle down and really go for it - and I think it's a combination of all the above with Lou's great personality and enthusiasm that sets him apart from so many others.

Fantastic experience: Well what can I say about my time with lou he’s been first class from start to finish! Fantastic experience: I went to see Louis after attending a group training session With another fitness club and sustained a shoulder injury which was due to focus on group training and not the individual. What a mistake! I wished I had seen Louis earlier as his approach is completely personalised to you and your specific goals. I wanted to lose weight and feel better for my son’s wedding. He is extremely motivating and gives you confidence to achieve your goal, I have found his app really helpful in enabling a focus on your calorie intake. He is always ready to give advice and often a motivating message when you may best need it. I lost weight (8 kilos) and built strength and importantly achieved the goal we had set jointly. I can’t recommend Louis highly enough, he is an expert in his field and I always look forward to our sessions. If you have a specific goal to achieve and you are willing to follow his approach, Louis is the man.

Fantastic experience: Since taking the plunge and starting my personal training journey with Lou I have not looked back! I am stronger (never thought I would be able to lift the weights I am currently lifting!), I have lost inches and over a stone lighter on the scales. Lou is so professional, educating me not only on fitness and technique, but nutrition and why protein in my diet is essential when doing strength training. His studio in Stockton Heath is sleek and well equipped! I have tried so many times to 'go it alone' and have failed every time. Lou holds me accountable and I am making smarter decisions when it comes to eating and drinking, especially when I am out on a weekend. Fantastic experience: Having sat behind a desk throughout my working life I wanted to lose a few pounds and get fitter and stronger before I retired. Nine months later, and having never done any resistance training before, I am now a stone lighter thanks to Lou’s tailored fitness and nutrition plan. Lou’s attention to detail and and focus has enabled me to set more challenging personal goals . I have tried diets and gym programmes in the past but never stuck to them. Lou is a great motivator and and really cares about your progress. He has a friendly and supportive approach balancing personal accountability with patience and understanding. He gently pushes you forward so you continue to maximise your progress. Lou’s helpful nutrition advice has really got me thinking and changed my approach about what I eat and when. Although I have changed some of my daily diet I find I am still able to eat the food I like and eat out periodically. Lou’s focus is on sustainable lifestyle changes so you can maintain progress and avoid going backwards. Lou’s fully equipped studio is like having your own up-market gym enabling you to concentrate on your own workout one on one without worrying about keeping up with anyone else. Over the last nine months I have lost weight and got stronger and fitter. I really look forward to my work out sessions and want to continue the improvements it is making to my health and wellbeing. Fantastic experience: Well where do I start… having started with Louis just 12 weeks ago I have never felt as strong, fit and toned as I do now. I came to Lou as someone who has always enjoyed exercising but never had much confidence at the gym (other than to attend group classes) and certainly have never weight trained before. From the outset Louis gave great advice and offered a tailored fitness and nutritional plan to meet my personal goals. Through his personal app I have access to my own weekly fitness plan and a food bank full of recipes which are so simple and easy to cook, essential for a busy mum of two!! Lou is always in regular contact throughout the week giving advice and is on hand to answer any queries. His support allows you to focus on training and achieving the best results. I have always been apprehensive to start one to one coaching but I wish I had started with Lou sooner. His private fully equipped home studio offers a comfortable space to train and he always ensures your technique is correct and knows when to push you so that you are gradually progressing week on week. His sessions are friendly and enjoyable and allow you to gain confidence to carry on with your plan during the rest of the week. Louis is a very supportive coach but also realistic and understanding about the challenges that busy lives can create. I would 100% recommend Coached by Lou to anyone. Fantastic experience: I’m so glad that I took the plunge and sent a message to Lou in January asking about his body transformation program. Almost 8 months later and I’m really pleased with what he’s helped me to achieve. The regular contact has kept me continually motivated, and the one on one sessions have been a great way to build my confidence in the gym. He was also very receptive to helping me achieve my goals despite me being a vegan. Lou’s meal plans and ideas have been excellent and they’re now staples in my daily routine. Fantastic experience: After a 5 year love-hate relationship with the gym and my body, I've managed to get into the best shape of my life after just 12 weeks of working with Lou. And I've genuinely enjoyed every minute of it. No nonsense, or fad-dieting - just simple, straightforward advice, whilst monitoring calories and workouts in his app. And cheaper than a lot of PTs I know of. It's not an "insanity" workout, and I haven't starved myself - it's been about making sustainable lifestyle changes, understanding when and how to eat the foods I enjoy, and when to rein it in. Fantastic experience: I approached Louis after deciding I needed help and a change of lifestyle. I wasn’t happy with my weight or how I looked in the mirror, I had been lifting weights for a number of years now and never really seen any difference it was more of a tick box exercise. After an initial discussion with Louis I explained all of this and what I am looking to do. He asked lots of questions about my current exercise regime, diet, work life, cooking ability. All of this to understand exactly how he can help. The next steps were a bespoke exercise and nutrition plan (that is updated every couple of weeks). Louis attention to detail and constantly keeping you accountability is a recipe for success. Fantastic experience: At 64 I am Louis’s oldest client. Louis has shown great flexibility in helping to finalise a suitable diet plan and exercise programme to fit in with my semi- retired daily schedule. Fantastic experience: Since the arrival of my 2 children, my focus on diet and exercise had been non-existent. I was gaining weight fast and was really struggling to motivate myself. Fantastic experience: After having 2 children in 2 years my body didn’t quite feel like mine and I’d say for a good few years before that as well. I feel like I’ve tried everything. Joe Wicks, Slimming World, Keto and even diet pills. But the level of support Louis provides is everything. He’s coached me through meals out, birthdays, hen dos, holidays, weddings, sickness. And he’s shown me with a little anticipation you can easily tweak your week so that your progress isn’t sabotaged, and you can still have fun. My body feels and moves the way it did in my early 20s. Fantastic experience: To say I am amazed by the progress would be an understatement! 34 lbs lost and in a completely different mindset. When I first contacted Lou, I was in a pretty bad place both mentally and physically. My overall health had been in a steady decline for a couple of years since the covid lockdowns, and I had gotten to a point where I needed some guidance to help me out of the rut. Lou has given me that and so much more. The recipes are tailored to my caloric requirements to hit my goals, easy to prepare and delicious, and he holds me accountable through a daily log and reviews. The workout plan is enjoyable and tracking the performance ensures that progress is made each week. For me, Lou is the only man for the job to keep me pushing forwards and to maximise my results. I would highly recommend Lou to anybody looking to make a change both physically and mentally!
