Fantastic experience: The Beach has such a great club vibe and hot showers are the best after a session in the water. I had a 1.2.1 session with Mikey using the b2b headphones jumping and chuffed to improve loads.

Fantastic experience: I’m 8 kite surfing lessons in and absolutely love it, the buzz down the beach is great and I’ve had lessons with 3 different instructors, and they are all brilliant, they all communicate with each other so they know exactly where you are at, it’s been a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Learnt paddle boarding and kite surfing - instructor Mikey was brilliant - clear instructions, kind and patient - thoroughly recommend. It’s such a beautiful place and the beach feels very safe.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience learning to paddleboard. The instructor made sure it was ideal conditions for our first time. He was super patient and helped us with all the basics. The lesson also includes hire of equipment for the lesson and one session at another date. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I had 3 lessons with Mikey at Littlehampton Beach Watersports in May and he worked really hard to help me fit these in to the one week I had available, offering evening and early morning sessions to match the best conditions, with excellent communication. The kit and facilities were perfect and it was great to have a hot shower before heading into the Beach Cafe - good for the family to be able to have breakfast/dinner there while I had my lessons! Mikey listened carefully to my previous experience and pitched the lessons at the right level, helping me to develop confidence with board starts and giving me some useful advice to help me continue learning nearer to my home town. He was very calm, encouraging and patient and I always felt safe. I will return whenever I am in Sussex - even if the conditions aren't right for kiting it's a great place to go!

Fantastic experience: I was nervous before my lesson, but there was no need. The instructor was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson, and I didn't fall in!! It's great fun, good exercise and beautiful surroundings. Win, win

Fantastic experience: This is a brilliant place to kitesurf. Changing room, hot showers and even a superb café and bar on site. There’s always a really friendly and helpful bunch of people about and the standard of instruction is great. It’s made a massive difference to my riding.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place! My children attended a watersports kids club at The Beach this morning. They had a wonderful time and they loved Mason who ran the session. They were buzzing afterwards. Then we enjoyed a great lunch at the cafe! Superb!

Fantastic experience: The best facilities on the south coast for a water sports centre, lots of activities to do, and one of the best kitesurfing schools in the u.k (ex instructor) Learn in a safe environment, and get a nice warm shower and a cup of coffee when you are done. Super friendly team, and loads of social events happening.

Fantastic experience: Bought a group of teenage boys for a paddle boarding session. Outstanding centre- fantastic experience! They loved the session and Mikey was amazing with organising. Highly recommend and we will be visiting again soon!

Fantastic experience: Kitesurfing: I’ve done 1 private 1:1 lesson and 2 progression sessions, I was able to board start before these lessons but couldn’t make it up wind at all! Mikeys tuition and enthusiasm has helped me progress significantly in just a few hours of coaching. Quickly picking out the areas which I needed to work on, whilst being super patient. I Would high recommend this place to come and learn to kite surf.

Fantastic experience: There is no better place to learn to Kitesurf. Mikey is a magician, I’ve tried it a couple of times before in different places on the south coast and thought I couldn’t do it - Mikey gave me so much confidence, super safe spot, great kit, great facilities, showers etc and then we had lunch and beers on the rooftop terrace, beautiful - thanks so much, I’ll be back soon!

Fantastic experience: Had my first kitesurfing lesson today, I was a little worried at first but kat reassured me all the way through the lesson and made sure I didn't hurt myself. It was an amazing experience, would have be nice if the wind had picked up during my lesson rather than at the end, but what can you do. overall it was just the introduction I needed. managed to body drag and control the kite in a lower and slightly higher wind condition. will definitely be back for a follow up before I go and buy all the equipment and start pursuing this in my free time. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Went with The Brent (6th Dartford) cubs. Can't praise them enough. Really looked after the kids and gave them a great time. Really good attentive instructors. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Huge thanks to Mikey, Kat and Neil for teaching me to kite. This is a great centre - the team are super friendly and knowledgeable, and the quality of teaching is really high. The kit is also fantastic - I had a brand spanking new kite straight out of the packaging in my last lesson! It's such a lovely spot too. Littlehampton Beach is so nice and makes for the perfect learning spot. No being dragged off downwind... if you fall you can simply stand up! And to top it all off, you can finish your lesson with a celebratory beer in the cafe! Big thanks again to the team for getting me up and riding! x

Fantastic experience: Update - Nearly a year has passed since my initial review, the beach watersports continue to be amazing with constant support and help the facilities are constantly upgraded as well. Myself my wife and my children have had only amazing lessons with The beach water sports, we all had SUP lessons and now paddleboard regularly Dec our instructor was great and explained everything throughly. I have had Kite surfing lessons with Kat and Mikey and I couldn’t reccommend them either of them more, my daughter has now started kite surf lessons and also loved the tuition. They have also been great with my younger son giving him chances to get involved with the training kite. Family atmosphere and always made to feel apart of the centre

Fantastic experience: Had a 1hr 'introduction to paddleboarding' lesson with Michael who was a great instructor. As a complete novice I learnt so much and gained so much confidence in the hour and would highly recommend Michael to anyone considering taking up paddleboarding. Well worth it and looking forward to getting out on the water to practice.

Fantastic experience: Just had a 2 hour windsurfing lesson with Michael.amazing experience with him as an instructor. Very professional with a good sense of humour. Nailed my beach starts first time with his amazing coaching. Got a few good runs in. If you need windsurfing lessons he's your man. Just joined the beach club too.

Fantastic experience: Such a great spot! Had a kiting lesson with Mikey last weekend and got on the board for the first time, loved it! If you’re looking for somewhere to learn to kite, it’s perfect. Great instructors, kit was brand new and felt so safe with Mikey, can’t wait for my next lesson. Also joined a Pilates class with Kat which was on the terrace in the sun, lovely class and bonus being able to hear the sea in the background!

Fantastic experience: Was down over the bank holiday weekend with the family and booked in for a 2 hour introduction session. Had an absolutely fantastic time. The instructor Dec was honestly fantastic. Tailored the experience to each individual. If we’re ever back in area we will be sure hit it up again

Fantastic experience: We enrolled my daughter in the Young Guns club twice. She loved every minute of it. The teacher was beyond helpful, enthusiastic and very skilled. After class, we talked to Michael and he advised us to book a private kitesurfing lesson and planted a seed to find a school in Belgium. My daughter loved the private lesson. Again the teacher was kind, gave excellent feedback and a lot of compliments. My daughter had the best week of her life, learned new skills, gained a lot of confidence and is so in love with watersports. It's sad we have to return home, but we will come back!

Fantastic experience: This is a really cool spot. Just discovered The Beach recently and have been going down most weekends to rent an SUP. I even paddle board after work sometimes which is awesome in this hot weather. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had a tow foil lesson with Mikey and Kat driving. It was brilliant hour which has really given me the foil experience so that I can now go and try the Wing Foil set up. From no prior experience on a foil to getting outside the wake and actually staying on the thing in just 1 hour!! Go and experience the magic carpet ride for yourselves. I may have a new addiction.

Fantastic experience: Really ideal setup at The Beach, conditions were ideal for me learning as a beginner, flat sea but plenty windy enough to get going. Mikey and the rest of the team were really friendly and helpful, felt very safe and was able to progress quickly under Mikeys instruction. Was still getting pointers from various instructors while i was practicing outside of the lessons. Being able to come off the water straight into a quality restaurant for decent food and a pint makes this place even better.

Fantastic experience: Kitesurfing: All the staff on the waterfront were super friendly. I was only in Littlehampton a few days and they were totally flexible with lesson times to try to get me the best wind available. Instructor Mikey was very patient, encouraging with me, a complete beginner, and felt really safe throughout. Had new brand 5m LEI kite and I managed to get my body drags- yeyyyy! Great location to learn, they have hot shower with coffee and food just next door. Will book again.
