Negative experience: Messaged and called this place several times before booking my slot after seeing the reviews and I would like to warn anyone booking as the payment portal is still very much live. But no answer suggests that the reviews are very accurate in terms of poor management. Had I not seen the reviews or called I’m sure I would have been out of pocket and received no refund.

Fantastic experience: I’m really not sure why there is such negative comments here. The studio has moved to new premises and I haven’t had any issues whatsoever, if I contact them via insta they reply really quickly and have been nothing but very helpful actually I would say going above and beyond at times so thank you to whoever is responding to me, I have cancelled classes via the app and have received refunds straight away and if I want to book full studio hire via email the team responding has been quick and very helpful (Shannon). The teachers are great here and the offer they have on is amazing, such a great variety of classes to choose from. I really like to hire the small studio which is great if you want some private time but even pole hire is cheap and you get longer than other places. I really like this place! Rock up wearing what you like and no one bats an eyelid, sling on your best stripper shoes if you feel in the mood and teaching that is explained and taught in a way that you understand. Oh and I will add they have a very good floor which is important for all that sliding and rolling around.

Negative experience: My instructor was great, love her! But like all the other recent reviews here, my experience with the management team has been very poor. They took almost 2 months to reply me after I emailed them asking for a credit refund regarding a class that they cancelled in March. Update: my instructor has left cause they pay like crap I also showed up to a class on a Saturday and there was not instructor available, despite the class being available to book on the app, still waiting to hear back from them. The class booking and cancellation policy are not clearly stated on their website and the Gymcatch app. Even if you cancel a booking well a week in advance, the credits are not automatically added back to your account, and I am still waiting to hear back from them despite sending emails and messaging them.

Negative experience: I booked a class and when I turned up there wasn’t any one. I have since emailed multiple times for a rebooking or refund but no response! I hope it’s just bad management (not intentional deceit) - management please contact me or I will have to take further actions to stop more people becoming victims!

Negative experience: As others have said, the teachers here are wonderful, however the management is unprofessional and non-existent half the time. So many classes cancelled and no refunds given. I had to chase them so many times and they would ignore me for weeks/months. I just gave up chasing my refund and just stopped coming as it wasn't worth the stress. Avoid if you want a consistent and reliable pole studio.

Negative experience: I’ve been waiting since February for 5 credits I paid for in November 2024 to be applied to my account. Between purchasing in November and the move from booking platforms in February, any class I tried to book was cancelled. Emails are ignored, Instagram comments conveniently disappear. There is even now a new Google listing called “Studio 66 aerial experience”created no doubt to hide their recent, honest reviews. Since the transition of ownership and rebrand from Ultimate Pole, this studio is now a sham and a scam.

Negative experience: Booked a 10am class and got can cancelled at half 9 - no explanation, no refund and no responses. Extremely disappointed especially also texted the instructor and no response either. Don’t come here, it’s a ridiculous scam.

Negative experience: This studio used to be really good but it’s gone rapidly downhill since the change in management. Classes are often cancelled with no refunds or the option to rebook, which has been really disappointing.

Negative experience: I have nothing but praise for the teachers I have had here, however the way the business is run is very disappointing. I purchased a multi-pack of classes, which offered a discount based on a commitment to multiple sessions. However, after attending just one class, every subsequent session was cancelled—often at the last minute—until my package eventually expired. When I requested a refund due to their failure to provide the agreed-upon classes, they only refunded me at the standard single-class rate rather than the discounted rate I had paid. This penalised me for their inability to deliver the service I purchased. Not only is this unethical, but it also violates the principle of restitution, which legally requires businesses to refund customers properly when they fail to uphold their end of an agreement, rather than unfairly enrich themselves at the customer’s expense. What’s most frustrating is the dishonesty in handling the situation. When I raised my concerns, the admin falsely claimed that classes were still running. They stopped responding to any of my multiple follow up emails when I clarified that the classes had been non existent for months. There were also other instances of unprofessional behaviour from the administration. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of integrity in the way they operate. While the teachers are great, I would suggest finding classes from them at a different studio, as this one is very dishonest and unfortunately cannot be trusted with your money. Also of note: if classes are cancelled they are refunded as class credits rather than to the account you purchased from. Something to be aware of as one of my friends wanted to join me for a class that was cancelled and to this day never received her money back as she doesn’t have time to chase after them. If if the owners are reading this, I would love to receive the money owed to me, and I’m sure there are many others who would also like their refunds. I will update this review if they ever reach out regarding a refund to me or the people I know who have been affected.

Negative experience: Horrible management and very unprofessional behaviour. They take ages to reply to emails, and most times they don’t even reply. Don’t issue refunds for classes you buy, you can only re-book. However they cancel classes frequently so there’s a chance your pass will expire before you can actually book another class. We booked the whole studio upstairs last week through their partner Clear Frame and asked for it to be set up with hoops. When we showed up the studio was locked and we could only get in after messaging the studio on instagram and asking for the code of their key safe lock. When we got to the studio it was not set up at all. There was stuff everywhere and the hops where not up. We messaged the studio and they said someone would come to help us set us up and no one did. So we had to clean the studio and set it up ourselves. I am not sure what the agreement is between Clear Frame and Studio 66, but one thing I am sure of is that we, as paying customers, booked the studios specifying it was for aerial hoop and requesting to have the hoops up. Not only it is unprofessional to treat us this way but it is also unsafe for them to let us use a rather unstable ladder to hang the hoops and set up the studio ourselves, especially considering that we did not sign any waver of responsibility when we booked the studio and sent the payment (which i am pretty sure it’s not legal). On top of that, they won’t be issuing any refund because “the studio was accessible and in use for your booking”.

Negative experience: Used to be much better before the new management took over...I used to come here for classes and pole hires and never had any complaints. However, recently the quality has dropped. During my last pole hire, I found that the poles had not been cleaned properly which is not acceptable. I had the same experience as other reviewers - there was nobody to open the studio, so another person and I were waiting. We both messaged the studio's Instagram page about this and the admin sent a message with the code to access the keybox to open the studio...I don't think I need to say why this is not okay in the slightest!! If you have put those time slots on your website, the least you should do is be present and keep the studio open, as we have all paid for these slots. I have heard from other dancers that poles have been taken down and not been put back up, so when they have arrived for a pole hire upstairs, there were no poles put up. Other incidents occurred when I was a part of my university Pole club, where we were wrongly accused by the management of misusing the space/exceeding the capacity when nothing of the sort occurred and we had evidence for the same. It's one thing to have great instructors but running a business in this manner will only drive customers away. Would urge you to consider carefully before booking a class/pole hire here, as others have still not received their refunds.

Negative experience: Been going here for pole hire for 1.5 months. Half of the time, there’s no one to open up for us and we find ourselves standing outside waiting, wasting our time. Studio is also ice cold. Been trying to contact them about the issue but no response.

Negative experience: Booked onto silks classes here which kept getting cancelled. Have called, emailed and attended the studio to ask for refund and received no response. Will confirm if I get a refund otherwise assume I haven't and think twice before booking with them

Fantastic experience: Such a great pole school, very good warm ups and cool downs, teachers are very supportive and inspiring. I’ve been a member for 2 weeks and have enjoyed everything so far. Very supportive environment. One of my favourite teachers is Cassie, gives very instructional advice and good tips on how to nail tricks, was able to achieve my first proper chopper this week during her class! Im a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to inverts, but her confidence in me being able to do it has really helped me believe in myself as well

Fantastic experience: I love the beginner pole spinning classes! The instructor (Cat) is so nice and love learning new moves whilst incorporating them into a choreography that I can then practice at home. The instructor gives plenty of 1to1 feedback which is helpful

Fantastic experience: They’ve changed the business name but I still see the same instructors, thank God! This place is great, my instructor was non-judgemental to any of the students and she gave individual feedback to each and every one of us. I’ve been to studios where an instructor would just focus on the most advanced of the group and ignore everyone else struggling Plus Cat always has a good choice of music for us to freestyle to at the end! Can’t wait to come back
