Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Tribal Cycle in Jesmond for just over a year. It’s a boutique spin studio, independently owned and designed for everyone: everyone is welcome. I’m 50, was a beginner a year ago and I’ve passed my 100 class mark - my fitness has improved massively. The fab thing about spin is all classes are for everyone, you work at your level and steadily improve at your pace, whilst stretching yourself and vibing off the group. So that means I can book any class anytime that suits my diary. The instructors all do great classes, they have different styles and vibes - I enjoy them all. Great tunes, lights, great workout - there is no way I’d work this hard for 45 mins on my own. It’s a totally different experience at Tribal than spin in a gym - they only do spin and they’re very good at it. Check them out.

Fantastic experience: Every time I go to Tribal, I always have the best time and the most fun exercising. Every class and instructor puts their all in to it and makes it enjoyable for those taking part - even with full squats! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who asks and have got a couple of my friends to sign up too&they love it. Anyone who wants a fun but effective work out, definitely get involved!

Fantastic experience: I personally hate doing exercise unless it’s fun and let me tell you, signing up with Sisters Spin is the most fun way to exercise. I always feel so happy after doing one of their sessions singing and dancing along to some absolute bangers and particularly on their themed sessions. It’s also a really good workout and something really worth investing your time and money in. I couldn’t recommend them enough! If you’re looking for traditional spinning I have also tried other spinning sessions here and all the instructors are great!

Fantastic experience: I've never been fond of spinning/spin classes before, the ones I've tried previously I didn't enjoy and would only end up doing the one session and then never return. Then I discovered the Sisters Spin and Tribal Cycle and I've now been to 5 sessions! I love it, it's so much fun and it makes me feel great! Love the energy and enjoyment in the room and the community feel. Plus the studio is great, the bikes are easy to set up and use and I've now come to enjoy a spin class! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Tribal cycle for close to a year now. The facilities and the instructors are excellent. The timetable is vast and most importantly everyone is made to feel welcome either by the person taking the class or the other members. It doesn't matter if your a seasoned spin master or a newbie starting your spin journey there is something for everyone of all abilities and you'll be welcomed and coached brilliantly regardless which one you are. If your on the fence get your leg slung over the bike and start the sweaty journey to great fun fitness.

Fantastic experience: Great classes, plenty to choose from. Alex and Claire in particular do really good, intense work outs and Tom’s sessions are a great mix of hard work and fun. Decent changing facilities available also.

Fantastic experience: So glad I discovered this studio! It’s such a hidden gem! Located behind the tennis courts of Northumberland Tennis Club you will find a class for every level and taste from Rihanna sessions to Taylor Swift to 90’s rave to normal spinning classes. The lights are next level and all the coaches are high energy and really motivating. All levels are welcomed and you feel a real difference just after 2 weeks. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Nice size classes and lovely instructors who all have different styles which keeps things varied and fun. I'd 100% recommend them. I'm so glad I joined.

Fantastic experience: As far as spin studios go, Tribal Cycle is one of the best I've seen. If you haven't caught the spinning bug yet, you probably will here. Whether you're going along for fun, to suffer, or even if you're a stats nerd, you won't be disappointed! The classes they run are very welcoming and suit all abilities. The equipment is top of the range (Stages SC 3 bikes) with power meters fitted for connectivity to apps to track your workout and even display it on a TV screen if you wish! I've done quite a bit of spinning over the years and this is a really good studio.

Fantastic experience: In Tribal Cycle and spinning, I have found an exercise I love and enjoy and for the first time in a long time, have been consistent with. I truly look forward to attending and love the whole experience each and every time. The instructors are all super friendly, professional, a lot of fun and experts in their field. You feel welcome from the moment you step in and part of a truly amazing community, I couldn't love it more. And as a music lover, the playlists really help to make the session. I leave with endorphins at an all time high and feeling like I could take on the world. So pleased I found my tribe!

I have just attended a spin and core combined session which was great fun and provided a valuable session for the core. The workout itself was challenging but the instructor provided encouragement and modifications for all levels, making it accessible for everyone. I left the class feeling energized and accomplished. Overall, I highly recommend Tribal Cycle for anyone looking for a challenging and enjoyable spin workout. The quality of the facility and instructors make it worth the investment.

Fantastic experience: Haven't yet tested out all of the instructors! But I've loved all of the sessions so far -all slightly different and testing in their own way. Great facility with quality bikes, music and lighting. I don't think you'll find better in Newcastle. I've been to a few of the well-known spinning studios in London and this is right up there with those.

Fantastic experience: I went along to Tribal Cycle for a taster session and have since signed up for a block of 10. I went to the crèche & burn session (great name) which is for new Mums. I brought my 7 week old in her pushchair and parked her up next to me while I did the class. There are sensory lights and music which meant she slept most of the time. But it’s a very chilled vibe and if you need to tend to your little one, you’re encouraged to do what you need to do. There’s really nothing else like this for new mums and is such a brilliant idea. I do lots of baby focussed classes but it’s also great to have a mum focussed class with a really knowledgable and lovely instructor. I encourage anyone on the fence to go try it out with one of the many membership options on offer.

It's suitable for all abilities with good instructions on using the bikes and a really welcoming environment. If you're looking to start spinning classes, I would check these guys out
