Fantastic experience: I recently completed a six-week Hyrox training programme led by Paul at VF, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Paul’s depth of knowledge and experience was clear from day one — he explained each workout thoroughly, tailored exercises to my abilities, and always kept the sessions challenging yet achievable. His coaching style struck the perfect balance between motivation and support. Every week I felt myself improving in strength, endurance, and confidence. Paul also shared useful tips on recovery and nutrition, which helped me get the most out of the training. The programme was really enjoyable , and all of the ladies were very welcoming. The best part is that this programme actually works! I have lost 9lb within this time frame and my body measurements have dropped significantly. When I went to a regular gym on my own, I always went back to bad habits and was not as motivated to push myself. I have decided to stay on with volume fitness to continue getting fitter and stronger with a dedicated coach and likeminded ladies with normal bodies of all shapes and sizes!

Fantastic experience: The reason I'm here is because I showed an interest and within 30mins Paul was holding me accountable by arranging a call to get set up. I was so worried going in my first night but 8 weeks later and I'm delighted to see my strength up and I love the classes. I haven't been as consistent as I'd like and Paul keeps me right on our 1:1s. The girls in the classes are just brilliant. Big change for me to keep going at something that's just for me. Fantastic experience: Never did I think I'd enjoy going to the gym, but I'm buzzing every time I leave and look forward to the next session...we're taught how to do the exercises/weights/machines so there's nothing to fear about them. We're in small groups so its not as daunting as you think coming through the door, and everyone supports each other with a smile or a few kind words. We've all been the 'new' girl and Paul and Gareth are very professional, helpful and kind...basically VF is a great place to be !!!

Fantastic experience: I started going to Volume Fitness in Antrim back in January, and it’s been such a positive experience. I went from absolutely dreading any form of exercise, and thinking I was useless at it, to genuinely looking forward to each session. I feel stronger, healthier, and more determined than ever—and I’ve achieved things I never thought were possible for me. Paul has also helped me start building a healthier relationship with food. I’m learning to understand why my body needs fuel, and with his support, I’m gradually putting that into practice—definitely a work in progress, but it’s made a real difference. Fantastic experience: I recently joined VF, this was a huge leap of faith for me, & wasn't sure if I would even be able to manage 1 session! Don't get me wrong, the first number of sessions were a huge surprise to muscles that had been dormant in excess of 20+ years. However, I have to say that Paul & Gareth know how to put you at ease, you don't feel judged or inferior because of your fitness ability. It is about meeting you at where you are currently at, & challenging you physically & mentally to achieve more. Paul & Gareth really know their stuff, & you feel safe that they know how far to push you, & how to break things down into manageable chunks. So far so good , & being part of the VF community is also being part of a group, I'm at the early stages, & have been made to feel very welcome & encouraged by all of the ladies in the group, plus, the craic is great too, especially when you don't remember the difference between forward & back, or left & right! Fantastic experience: I joined VF in March 2023 initially to improve my overall fitness but being part of the VF community has given me so much more than that. Not only has attending sessions become part of my routine. I look forward to them every week and seeing improvement in my strength week on week gives me motivation to keep going. Fantastic experience: I started VF 3 months ago and I am loving it! As a small group PT, Paul encourages everyone and holds each individual accountable to meet their fitness goals. The sessions flow with a good variety of exercises and his knowledge shines through- knowing what weight you're lifting before you do on every occasion! Fantastic experience: I joined Volume Fitness’s 6 week programme and having never been to a gym before was very nervous ,however I was made feel very welcome by both Paul and the group. Paul is a great PT, he is supportive, knowledgeable and patient, the classes are very well structured with women of different levels of abilities, and he encourages everyone to do their very best whilst prioritising health and safety. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Paul Keenan and Volume Fitness. I came 6mths ago on a recommendation from a friend and was so apprehensive, not sure I would stick at it and even hated exercise. I knew I had to start to make those changes -physically and mentally. Paul and the VF community have helped me turn the negatives to positives. I've gone from thinking I can't do that lift or complete an exercise to telling myself I can do it and wont let it beat me. I even look forward to the sessions now. I know I'm at the start of my fitness journey, having not done anything in years but thoroughly enjoying VF so plan to keep going. Paul is encouraging, supportive, and respectful in the right amounts. He will challenge you to change a mindset, set your own realistic goals, and help you work towards achieving them. His sessions are structured, and well planned working core, upper and lower body muscles. He knows exactly what individual weights we are working on, and guides us through each session. Fantastic experience: VF is different. Paul provides a wholistic approach to coaching. Yes, he has helped me focus on training and exercise and helped me to actually 'enjoy' exercise for the first time ever! However, the focus on mindset, self-esteem, nutrition and community is what, for me has made a big difference. The encouragement from the group and the accountability with Paul has helped me stick with it. Working alongside Paul in his VF studio in a one to one capacity and in small group training is the best! Paul cares about every single member, he truly wants what is best for them. Fantastic experience: Volume Fitness needs a huge mention. Not enough people know about this fantastic place. It is a Studio, not a gym. No mirrors, no posing, no competitions, no struggling to keep up. I do a Tuesday and Thursday morning. Different mornings available and evenings too. Every group is small and also online coaching if its not convenient or too far to travel. So no excuses! The huge benefit with having small groups is Paul can show us individually what to do as we are all at different stages. We are all female, all ages, shapes and sizes. One girl is pregnant. Some have injurys or illness. We all have different reasons for being there and our goals are not the same. Paul's motivational skills are just amazing. His knowledge shows how passionate he is. Everyone that walks through the door is made feel very welcome, no one judges. We have group calls where Paul has clearly done a lot of research. He encourages us to set ourselves targets and is always right behind us guiding us along. We do weekly stats and log our food. The calories etc set are realistic. I have signed up to many different diets, stick at it for a few months, crave the foods I miss, give up and weight goes back on and some. Not only have I lost weight, my shape has changed and I have dropped almost 2 dress sizes. We also have a Saturday morning Studio Session. Totally different class, different rounds etc. Every 12 weeks we have our max testing. We are not trying to beat anyone else, just our previous results. For me seeing progress pictures every so often is a great incentive. Other gyms do photo shoots where people get their make up done, tan on, hair done and new flattering outfits. Now obviously they are proud of their achievements and fair play. For me scrolling through social media seeing these pictures I can understand their happiness but it does not appeal to me or give me the desire to join. I can honestly say messaging Paul in September was the best message I have ever sent. I have my spark back. Like everyone I have my bad days I am learning every day how to overcome these. I love the studio, I love the girls, my best friend has joined. Oh and anyone who knows me knows I love Paul. Legend, changed my life. I know I have done the work but I couldn't or would struggle without him . I have a long way to go but I am moving in the right direction. The ball is in your court. Dont be like me and put it off or say you cant do it. I couldn't, I did and now I can. Determined not Defined.

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Paul for a full year now and I could not reccomend him enough. The change in me is night and day but not only physically, Paul works on so much more than just the physical, mental wellness is as important as anything and Paul gets this. He offers not only face to face training but online work outs you can do from home that fit into your schedule and tailored for each individual,exercises that focus on mindset and stepping out of your comfort zone, joining my vf family is probably the best decision I've made to date.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been part of the VF family for 10 weeks now. Highly recommend Paul as a PT and coach. I can do workouts at home to fit around my schedule, but he also provides 1-1 coaching and group sessions. Training and coaching is tailored to the individual, taking various factors into account. Weekly check-in and coaching calls keep me accountable. Volume fitness practice and encourage mindfulness and to top it all off, there’s an awesome weekly yoga class with Trionna.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Volume Fitness, Paul has a wealth of knowledge and is a great motivator! It’s not just about the virtual work outs but also helped me with recording my food as well as mindfulness, life coaching and there’s even yoga sessions available!! Loving that VF is part of my daily ‘habit’!!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Paul in Volume Fitness for almost 2 years now and I can't recommend him enough. The longest I have ever lasted previously with a gym is 3 months (I only actually went for about half that time) but because he offers online and in-person programmes it really suits my lifestyle. I attend his live workouts 5 days a week (which I wouldn't be able to do if I had to attend in-person) and all from my home - no issues with child care or travelling! One of the best decisions I made, not only does he support me with the physical side/exercise to suit my ability, but also coaches on mindset, and has helped me so much on all levels!
