Fantastic experience: Where do I start, this place is like a second home and I love it. The owners Marc and Hannah are super friendly and really care about their customers. You are not just a number to them like a soulless big chain. The boys on the desk, Joe , always welcoming with a smile and a chat. I am a mature lady in years (not mind) who used to be intimidated by going to the gym but you certainly don’t get that here, everyone is so friendly. There are also many fantastic knowledgeable PTs and instructors (Chris, Ellie, Ben, Megan, Lauren to name a few) who will help you feel confident and achieve your goals. As well as the gym floor equipment there are enough classes for everyone’s taste to enjoy. The latest remke reformer Pilates studio is a fantastic edition and is very competitively priced. After all the exercises you do and to help you with your aches and pains the PTs/instructors put you through, Harrison is the onsite Sports Therapist, with magic healing hands. The MK1 team is truly awesome. I love this place

Fantastic experience: Good place with good people, all the equipment you need to progress and the right people around you to feel good about it !. . 6 months in for me and not fed up (I’d frequently have lost interest by now ). . Enjoying it still A genuine environment , I still feel…. well beyond welcome as much as I did the first time I walked in .

Fantastic experience: Joined the gym during their opening weekend. The equipment here is all fantastic. Really good quality. The gym is kept immaculately clean and feels a very friendly, inclusive atmosphere to workout in. It makes such a difference to be greeted with a smile every time you enter. My motivation is through the roof before every workout.

Fantastic experience: After trying all the gyms in Selby I settled with mk1 one, top equipment, neat and tidy , friendly staff and owners ,I really feel at home when working out at mk1 it’s not like your generic huge faceless gyms like pure gym I live across the road from pure gym and chose to travel a little further to this little gem of a gym, I have progressed in the last few months here more than I have any other gym and managed to bring structure to my workouts I couldn’t with the other place , Hannah and Marc have created a gym that has character and style, well done guys !

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to all the gyms in the Selby area and this is hands down the best. Great equipment, it’s light and airy with a nice aesthetic, you always get a warm welcome, and overall it’s a really friendly atmosphere. You also have a variety of supplements to choose from, clothing, foods, and they have sun beds. It’s got everything you need!
