Fantastic experience: I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have been recommend Jessica by my colleague, she’s been my PT for the past nine months and from the very beginning, she has been nothing but supportive, kind, and genuinely invested in my wellbeing. Fantastic experience: I decided to take the plunge and get myself a personal trainer several years ago. Being coached by Jessica has become the best decision I made for my health & fitness. Jessica coaches the whole package - fitness, nutrition and wellbeing. I find the PT experience motivating, and fits nicely into my day when working from home. I gradually dropped just over a dress size with no need to weigh myself, the focus was on how I felt in myself and clothes. Firstly, Jessica reviewed my eating habits and guided me towards adjusting portions, adding more fruit, veg, and protein....but no food was off limits and was left feeling satisfied, never hungry. Weight training with Jessica boosted my metabolism and helped me feel trimmer and stronger....as well as enjoying a good chat Jessica will make sure some of your favourite tunes play in the background. Whilst I initially coupled this with weights and cardio I did at the gym or home, Jessica encouraged me to adjust my regime around work/life, and to do what I enjoyed/wanted to do. There was no need to commit to hours and hours of workouts...eg I did 20min cardio videos or an outdoor session Jessica created for me which I could do in the back garden. Jessica helped me break away from preconceived ideas about diet and exercise, which I now know were holding me back, she shapes something for you, with no military style fitness regime in sight ( unless you want that of course?!) I have learnt so much about myself, and now undertand that working late and staying up late to get back personal time was making me tired and stressed, and as a result I would snack more and make excuses not to exercise. Jessica has helped me plan my days and food, and focus on 'what I need' rather than what I think I want, which has driven better results....I have been getting more sleep, learning to relax and unwind when I need to, making time for hobbies, and I find that I manage my time, food and fitness much better. Increased confidence encouraged me to take tennis up again, after years of making excuses. Jessica is motivating, patient and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about fitness wellness and nutrition. Why have I not gone solo? Fantastic experience: I've been incredibly fortunate to have Jessica as my trainer for nearly a year. She's not only helped me improve my physical strength and fitness but also guided me towards healthier eating habits. I've noticed a significant decrease in my tendency to overeat, and she's always been supportive and understanding during those challenging moments. Her explanations are clear and concise, and her sense of humor makes each session enjoyable. I'm particularly grateful for her help in managing the chronic foot pain I was experiencing. She's patient, encouraging, and truly understands my personality, even when I'm "jokingly" complaining about the challenging workouts. Fantastic experience: I've worked with Jessica for over a year, and the results have been fantastic. Originally I started weightlifting on my own but was struggling with motivation and direction when Jessica was recommended to me by my colleague. My main goals were to strengthen my lower body and lose 10kg which I've achieved in a sustainable way, but she's also helped with nutrition and mental health, which greatly boosted my confidence! Jessica is empathetic, always prompt in answering questions, and ensures I understand each exercise. I highly recommend working with her not just for fitness but for overall wellbeing!
Fantastic experience: Jess changed the trajectory of my life. 2 of my very dear friends encouraged me to go to Jess. Both friends were changing before my eyes and through their encouragement I reached out to Jess. My biggest fear was if I carried on the path I was at, I’d end up in a mobility scooter. A frumpy, overweight woman will no desire to live a full life. It was time to invest in myself. Through Jess guidance, I have learnt to rethink my relationship with food. Mindful eating has given me back the pleasure of eating good, nourishing food. And I look forward to each meal I have now for life. Fantastic experience: I worked with Jess for around 9 months in the lead up to my wedding and it was one of the best decisions I have made. Before starting, I had struggled with accountability and consistency which Jess ensured I maintained throughout, not only with the physical element but also my nutrition which I found really helpful. Fantastic experience: Working with Jessica has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Jessica is a true professional of her field, very knowledgeable as well as easy to communicate with. She is firm when needed, but also extremely kind, supportive and compassionate. What made me choose Jessica as a PT was her holistic approach, where she assesses not only the exercise routine, but also general fitness levels, nutrition, stress levels, sleep and other lifestyle factors. My results are 17kg weight loss and the need of the new wardrobe as my clothes went down by a few sizes. I am also much happier with my body, my fitness levels, my lifestyle and my routine - I understand how certain behaviours (emotional eating for example) occur in my life, I can identify and prevent them. I also enjoy exercising so much more than I ever did before! Since I started working with Jessica I went on to try a variety of sports including yoga, hot yoga, aerial yoga, cross fit, pilates, spin, hiking, swimming, darts, and golf. Fantastic experience: I have been working with Jess for the last year and a 5 star rating is not high enough. Jess has always been supportive, and encouraging and I've never felt judged as someone who was at the start of their fitness journey and in a bigger body. Fantastic experience: I’ve worked with Jessica for over a year and she is incredible. She is so reasuring,positive and encouraging. She has taught me so much and not only helped me make positive physical changes but my mental health and confidence has greatly improved. I started with Jessica as a complete novice when it came to weight training. She has taught me so much and given me the confidence to feel relaxed and confident going to the gym while getting the best results.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Jessica for a year and half and it’s been brilliant - cannot recommend her enough. I first sought help with my fitness because I’d been working ‘physical’ jobs for years and although I was up on my feet during work and cycling about 8 miles every day I was about to change career to a desk job, working from home and knew my every day movement would completely change. I was also at a low point mentally and had never really challenged my body to see what it was capable of - that’s where Jessica’s positive, realistic and holistic understanding of mind and body came into its own. We’ve worked on overall body strength with amazing results. I had lower back pain for years (tall person problems!) but that’s totally gone now. I’ve also found a balance of weight training and different cardio that’s totally sparked new interests and hobbies through Jessica’s encouragement and positivity for enjoying fitness - I’ve gained loads of confidence in trying out different sports. Its been a huge confidence boost to hit my 30s in the best shape I’ve ever been. I can’t really imagine my life now without exercise or training, it’s become really integrated into my life. Of course there’s been down points when life’s made that more difficult, but Jessica has such a balanced and understanding outlook on life that I’ve been supported through the low times too. I’ve become more resilient in both mind and body. I also have to say how much I enjoy the sessions! We have great chats about all sorts and I feel like I’m totally myself in Jessica’s company. Again, can’t recommend Jessica more - my training with her has completely gone over and above expectations.
Fantastic experience: When I started with Jessica 10 months ago I wasn’t in great shape physically or mentally. Jessica is so kind, supportive, knowledgeable & professional. She guided me through everything at exactly the right pace. I am now comfortable lifting weights & doing other exercises I never thought I would be able to do. Fantastic experience: Jessica is knowledgable, kind and effective. I started working with jessica about a year ago and haven't looked back. She has been the driver for so much positive change on my life that i didn't necesarily know i needed at the time. I initially approached Jessica to introduce me to the gym. I have always played sports but hadn't ever incorporated gym workouts. I also didn't want to focus on body image and calorie counting but rather wanted to gain confidence, build strength and care for my body in the long term. Jessicas holistic approach to fitness and wellbeing really resonates with me. I have noticed changes in my body from the get go, without ever having to think about 'less'. Rather, our focus has been on 'more' and ensuring my body, and mind, are getting everything they need. I can actively see improvements filter through into the sports i play as i can perform at a higher level and recover quicker. With jessica there is no one size fits all template, rather she listens actively to my changing goals and schedule and adapts accordingly. Jessica is so much fun to work with, i always look forward to our sessions. This is a place where the 'work' doesn't feel like work, where 'bad' days don't bring us down and where compassion rules. Also, the tunes be bangin.
Fantastic experience: I have been going to Jessica for a few years now and I can't recommend her enough. She is such an amazing, caring, talented and hard working person. She not only helps you get strong and fit and into the best shape you've been she also helps you with understanding foods and what's going on on the inside. When I started with Jessica I was at my heaviest and lowest I have ever been and didn't know how to help myself. My anxiety was so bad that I avoided going out with friends and I was stuck in a job I thought I couldn't leave. Since working with Jessica I have not only lost weight and toned up ! I am now in a job I love, I feel alot happier in myself, I am the STRONGEST I have ever been ! I feel better physically and mentally and I can even go into a gym by myself which was something I was always too scared to do. She has pushed me in all the right directions over the past few years to achieve this and has helped educate me in so many ways possible. I am so happy I have someone this amazing as my PT.
Fantastic experience: Jessica means business! 18 months ago I was sluggish, overweight and felt truly middle aged! I started training with Jessica and the journey began - loads of laughter with a lot of personal determination thrown in! 18 months later I am 2 stone lighter, stronger and feel fantastic. Jessica is very knowledgeable so her sessions are varied, fun and challenging to your own personal level. She’ll change your mindset as well as your body! This wee diamond deserves all 5 stars and more.
Fantastic experience: Jess has helped me get back into going to the gym and eating well again after a long lockdown of not doing that. Throughout going to Jess I have learned so much more about how to use equipment at the gym correctly and what to use it for, which in turn has helped me gain confidence in going back to the gym. She has helped me gain a knowledge of nutrition to go along with the training which and helped me see results, before I knew little about the eating side of training and just went to the gym and stuck with what I knew. Whereas now Jess has helped me use both these skills together to make a change. I would highly recommend training with Jess as she has well rounded knowledge of training and her positivity encourages you to better yourself !
Fantastic experience: When I started with Jessica I was already fairly fit, going to a least 3 gym classes a week and attending bootcamp. I had good knowledge about eating healthy and counting calories, however following the first lockdown I wanted more consistency. My wedding was 9 months away and I wanted to get into the best shape of my life. Jessica really made sure this happened!! What I appreciated the most from Jessica was that I felt she was truly invested in me. Each week I submitted a diary holding myself accountable to goals and targets but never did I feel judged. Jessica was always there on hand to be supportive and offer advice on how to improve or sometimes to say great week keep it up!! I always enjoyed the training sessions and each week felt myself getting stronger and as this happened my weights would get heavier. I liked the fact it was always tailored to me. I was weight training 3 times a week and walking. No major cardio involved yet. In terms of my eating- in the beginning Jessica took me down a very different path that I would have went on myself which although was daunting I trusted her and the process. I was originally eating around 1200 calories a day and as this slowly increased I found I didn’t gain weight. What surprised me the most was I could eat nearly 1600 calories a day before I started to gain weight!! We then continued to increase the calories to 2100 to build muscle mass and although the scales went up at this point I was understanding the process and enjoying the food I could eat!! Then at the beginning of the year lockdown happened again. However, Jessica put together a programme for me to do in the house. She provided me with videos and clear instructions on what to do ensuring I continued to progress. By doing this it really helped with my mental well-being and although we weren’t training together I was still sending in the check in diary’s. Then when restrictions allowed we took the training outside! Everything was adapted and it felt great to be back at it! As this happened we slowly started to reduce the calories and really focus on the macros. Slowly the cardio started to increase too. It was only really the last 2 months in the lead up to the wedding that I felt like I was making some sacrifices, however I still continued to eat out and have a drink at the weekend. Jessica was really supportive of this and I would send her the restaurant’s menus in advance so she could help me choose the best option! Come the wedding day, I truly felt the best I’ve ever felt. I can’t thank Jessica enough for her support, encouragement and knowledge throughout the whole training process. When I first met her I told her what I wanted to achieve and she made sure I reached those goals!!
Fantastic experience: My life was completely turned on it's head during Lockdown, as many of ours were. My mental wellbeing was at a real low and I knew I needed to do something to overcome it. I first went to CBT, which helped massively. And from this I realised that my best chance to fight back was through exercise. The reason Jess is so excellent is that she works holistically. My sleep was all over the shop, I was comfort eating mindlessly, not taking in enough fluids and I had gained a lot of 1.5 stone. For someone who is 5ft this is quite substantial, and a key indicator of the state of my mental health. Jess had me monitor all of the above, to make me more conscious of what my mind and body need to be able to train properly. And moreover how to function better. One of the biggest changes was after a week of socialising and out drinking 4 times in the week to great excess, I was a total mess. I had been drinking like this for years. Jess highlighted the impact of alcohol on my mind and body, and after a really rough training session I decided that I would be more mindful of this. I have not stopped drinking, but drink far less. In terms of training, having been an avid gym goer on and off my whole life, I have never seen changes in my body such as I have since Jess started training me. I most enjoy the sessions as Jess has created a training programme with all of the things I enjoy the most, and changes the programme regularly, constantly adding more weight, and more complex moves in a controlled way. Her own technique is excellent and she monitors you all through the session to make sure you have the correct form in order to target the muscles you are working on. Lifting weights brings me so much joy and seeing your own progression is amazing, I have learned so much. In summary, since joining Jess last September I am in a much happier, healthier and stronger state of mind. Having a coach as supportive as Jess ripples through the rest of your life. Apart from feeling more mentally well, I have lost over 20 pounds in weight, my arms have definition for the first time in my life and going from a non-runner I am now training for a half marathon. The strength training on my legs have enabled me to take to running in a way I thought wasn't possible for me. I cannot recommend highly enough!
Fantastic experience: I first started going to Jessica in October 2020. Lockdown meant I wasn’t exercising or going walks as often as I should have and I felt like I was stuck in a rut both mentally and physically. Jessica met with me before I could start training with her to make sure it was the right thing for me (it definitely was) which put me at ease as I was a total beginner. She’s been more of a life coach than anything else, really looking at everything in my life from eating to sleep to how I felt emotionally. I started taking vitamins and eating things that were going to benefit my health and body. I struggled with anxiety before and just felt run down and low all the time but since I’ve been going to Jessica I’ve really learned to understand why I felt anxious and what I can do to change my mindset. Weightlifting obviously helps with that as well, there’s something amazing about feeling stronger every month! I’ve developed muscle definition and lost over a stone which I’m delighted with as it’s boosted my confidence massively. I actually enjoy training now, as hard as it is, the endorphins after are worth it. Couldn’t recommend her enough and I’ve made a friend for life
Fantastic experience: As a person who is currently working with Jessica I would 100% absolutely recommend her as a personal trainer. I approached Jessica around 6 months ago looking for guidance and support. Although I am consistent with exercise, I knew my nutrition and diet could be better. I had tried different plans and approaches but was never consistent with these, resulting in feelings of failure, limited results and being stuck in a destructive cycle and mindset. Approaching Jessica was nerve wracking but has been the best decision I have ever made for my health. Jessica is very knowledgable and was able to support me with making changes in a way which was realistic and achievable for me. Jessica was very reassuring and it was comforting to know that I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. My mind is now my biggest asset for nutrition and training as Jessica has helped to fill this with positivity and helpful knowledge. This has helped me feel in control whilst still enjoying food and exercise - something I feel I can sustain in the long-term. Jessica has challenged that negative voice in my head telling me I can’t do something and I’m now more confident with my technique and using weight lifting equipment at the gym. For anyone who feels they need some support and guidance with training and/or nutrition, Jessica is your answer. Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about starting with a personal trainer as I hadn’t been in a gym for a very long time, and also had long term problems with shoulder and neck pain which made me anxious about exercising From the start I felt Jess really listened to me and was very reassuring, tailoring my training to exactly suit my needs. She really looked at the whole picture and considered every part of my life when working on a training plan for me. Diet, stress, lifestyle, time management, sleep and health were all taken in to account. Regular exercise has become an integral part of my life now and I am so delighted to have gained these skills before lockdown, as I have been able to keep training at home with regular online contact with Jess.I can wait to get back to regular gym sessions with her. She is a very thoughtful and dedicated trainer who has been a really positive influence in my life. And through continued focus on my problem areas, my shoulder and neck are better than they’ve been in years.. and my jeans fit me! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jess. She’s amazing!
Fantastic experience: After only using cardio equipment in the gym for years I started with Jessica to give me the confidence to lift weights and build strength. Her holistic approach has achieved this ensuring I now have the skills and knowledge to lift free weights and resistance train safely on my own. However, two years later I still train with Jessica twice a week as her sessions are well thought out and motivational. She is constantly reassessing my training needs and programme to make sure I continue to progress. Jessica has also been there when I've asked for nutritional guidance giving me the correct level of support. Along with all her knowledge and experience Jessica is an extremely warm, friendly, approachable and above all supportive PT. BUT best of all in this busy life it is wonderful to spend two hours a week with someone who is there just for me! I highly recommend Jessica as a PT.
Fantastic experience: I was doing the 5:2 diet for years and was miserable hardly eating anything/yoyo dieting and seeing no results in the gym. When I reached 90kg I decided I needed help. I was really apprehensive about starting PTing and thought I'd tried everything and that nothing would work. Through my sessions I gradually developed confidence and understanding of how to fuel my body for energy rather than just for the sake of eating. The thing I really appreciated about Jessica is that she gradually fed me information over sessions and didn't bombard me with information so I didn't find sessions or nutrition a chore or overwhelming. Jessica listens to your needs and she'll structure training and nutrition around this. There's no judgement and no food is off limits! Jessica is one of the most hardworking people I've ever met. She loves her field of work, her positivity and motivation are infectious. Jessica has taught me that knowledge is power, and that's definitely the case when it comes to training and nutrition. She has equipped me with with invaluable information that has prepared me for the rest of my life. Jessica is an excellent PT and at 20kg lighter I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Fantastic experience: I was really uncomfortable and nervous before going to see Jessica as i have never enjoyed the whole gym atmosphere. Jessica is very understanding of how you perceive yourself and really good at putting you at ease. The changes to my body composition and mindset have been impressive to say the least. I really enjoy my time with her at the gym and she is so positive and encouraging. If you are looking for a PT then look no further as Jessica has such a vast all round knowledge and i would recommend her wholeheartedly as a positive, uplifting and inspiring PT.
Fantastic experience: Under Jessica’s guidance I’ve changed from an anxious, reluctant gym goer to someone who loves to train consistently. Jessica is friendly, knowledgable and professional and takes a holistic approach to supporting and training clients. Her support and guidance is available 7 days a week, and she’s always been there for dietary advice, motivation and encouragement as well as training support. She’s a joy to work with and I look forward to my weekly sessions. Fantastic experience: Fantastic personal trainer, highly recommend. Working with Jessica has given me focus not only on exercise but nutrition. She has an amazing all round knowledge on health and her PT knowledge is immense. Jessica’s focus on technique and strength has allowed me to get back to the gym following a back injury. My shape has changed dramatically, my knowledge on nutrition further increased and a drop in weight also. Jessica challenges you to think what you can achieve, whilst supporting you to do it. Not always easy, but definitely worth it.
