Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Pete for about a year now. His knowledge is great and I like his honesty. I wanted to lift weights and get stronger but would be scared to go too heavy so I never progressed. Starting with Pete, he’s given me the confidence to lift heavy and it’s great having his support when I’m unsure and making sure my form is correct. I’m now more confident when I do the workouts Pete has set, on my own in the gym. I would definitely recommend Pete if you’re looking to get fitter and healthier.

Fantastic experience: I've been a regular with Pete at Phys Training for nearly two years now and would 100% recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their health and fitness. Initially I wanted a weight training plan to complement my mountain biking and someone to make sure I was lifting the weights correctly. Two years later I'm lifting considerably more weight and seeing the benefits not just in my riding but day to day life too. As I've progressed Pete has adapted my program and given me the confidence to workout solo between Phys Training sessions. I've never stuck with any exercise routine for so long and now can't imagine giving it up.

Fantastic experience: I didn't realise what a difference it would make from occasionally exercising (with wrong techniques) to working with Pete who not only motivates but makes sure the moves are correct and working to improve my strength and balance. Fantastic experience: Professional personal and fun is how I would sum this place up . Been going to Pete for a good few months now , this guy is an absolute pro and knows how to get the most from the session without pushing you to the limits , I have lost over two stone in weight in my time with Pete along side a healthy eating program and dedication from myself , I had never set foot in a gym environment before and always brushed the idea off , my clothes fit better I look better and I can honestly say I feel so much better physically and mentally And have more drive and less lag and so many people that I know comment and say how well I look ,if you are thinking about a personal trainer phys is the place to go, long may this journey continue thanks Pete

Fantastic experience: Spent 8 weeks with Phys to kick myself Into gear and educate myself on technique. Pete was brilliant. He setup a routine with me built and edited over a period of sessions and gave plenty of information and reason throughout. Facilities are great and the 1 to 1 private sessions make all the difference in having a calm, focused and enjoyable training environment. Highly recommend using Phys for anyone looking for motivation and accountability, with plenty of learning along the way.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend highly enough. Facilities are great, and Pete takes time to find out about you. Pete's a really top guy who is genuinely in it for you. Exercise programs are tailored to your ability and ambition, and progress at the right pace and under supervision. I felt the benefit very quickly and look forward to going every time.

Fantastic experience: My Daughter and I were sharing our sessions at Phys Training and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The studio is welcoming and well equipped. Our goal was to get stronger and fitter which I feel confident to say we are, but definitely a work in progress.

Fantastic experience: I came to Pete needing some proper motivation and discipline for getting back into exercising and improving my fitness. He was great at explaining the training we were doing and also gave great advice on nutrition and encouraged me to be more aware of my body and what I was putting into it. But also what my body was doing during and after my workouts. He has given me the confidence and motivation to go off and carry on with my fitness on my own and I’m so much better for it now. Also the information about alcohol is totally spot on. I have really reduced my alcohol intake to mostly only drinking on occasions and what a difference it has made wow! I’ve lost weight, sleep a lot better and feel a lot healthier. Thanks Pete!!

Fantastic experience: Pete has really helped myself & my family with understanding the concepts of fitness and food. He has taught us correct techniques and routines to follow - this has given us all but, specifically my mum the confidence and encouragement that was needed to continue our fitness journeys and achieve our goals. Pete is also extremely good at listening and communicating with you about all your concerns and will help guide you through any journey you may be on. I couldn’t recommend Pete enough for anyone that needs the support and coaching with their health and fitness.

Fantastic experience: Pete @ Phys PT has provided me with PT sessions for 9 months now. The gym is set up for an individual or very small group and ideal for a one on one personal session. Fantastic experience: My sister and I booked some sessions together, as she had been to Pete previously. He really knows his stuff, and makes sure you get exactly what you need out of the session, pushing you further each time, but without the need to be in the gym for hours and hours every day! I noticed such a difference in my strength and body shape in such a small amount of time, and would highly recommend anyone who is looking to get stronger, fitter and leaner to get in touch with him!

Fantastic experience: I first started going to see Pete at Phys Training back in March this year. After having 2 babies close together and during lockdowns I hadn’t had much luck losing the baby weight I had put on. Pete methodically and patiently helped me find my path of losing weight, new fitness levels and routines and eating more healthily. Fast forward to November this year and I have achieved all that! Working all that around two young children hasn’t always been the easiest task but Pete has always reset my mind and allowed me to find a path that works for me and my life! I haven’t had to do the traditional dieting clubs but by exercising and eating more healthy I have achieved the weight loss I had aimed for and continue on with a more healthy lifestyle! I even managed to complete the Couch to 5K and run my first ever 5K run. I would certainly recommend Pete, Phys Training to anyone at any stage in your life. It’s not been the easiest road to travel at times but Pete has been a fundamental part of me achieving my goals!

Fantastic experience: I broke my leg in 2 places last year (March 2021) whilst walking the dog! New to PT, I was recommended to Pete to help me build back strength. He put together a programme which has made a huge difference to my stability and confidence. Not wishing to give Pete an easier life (!), he has now temporarily but radically adapted my sessions to allow for my recent major op. He listens, he's genuine, he's very effective.

Fantastic experience: Pete is always providing great fitness tips for me and his short online videos help me understand the way the body works and the best ways to reach my fitness goals. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Phys if you want to succeed in achieving your Fitness, Weight loss goals. I found these workouts to be energising and fun with a focus on conditioning and has increased my confidence using all gym equipment. I have been training with Pete for over a year and am really happy with the results and am really excited to get back into training as soon as I can.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Phys Personal Training. I was working towards a running my first marathon with little to no experience, but Peter showed educated me with nutrition and keeping on track to hit my goal. Fantastic experience: Love working out here (when i get the chance with Pete, i'm not entirely local). It's a simple (in a calming sense) but fully functional gym that gets me in the mood to workout and focus my head space to that effect. Pete bolsters this with his friendly and approachable style, with a wealth of experience in how to tailor for both physical and nutritional requirements. I'm a little OCD with getting things "right" and Pete has always helped me every step of the way. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was born with hip dysplasia, but only found out in September 2018. I was told at 41 yrs old, I needed two full hip replacements. I am gifted with four children, and have a busy life, but was out of shape physically and in a lot of pain. I was recommended by my partner and friends to go to Pete at PHYS, to build up muscle tone around my hips to support major surgery, and also to get in shape. My hip surgery on my right hip was booked for 9th November 2019. I began training with Pete @ PHYS at the end of May 2019. Not only did Pete understand my medical condition he used his knowledge and expertise to help me strengthen and tone my body to support surgery and assist a speedy recovery! He also gave me dietary and lifestyle advise, for me and my family. I had my right hip replacement and a thigh bone lift and pin as scheduled on 9th November 2019. My surgeon commented on the positive results of training with Pete pre surgery. I must add the upper body training I did with Pete @ PHYS, also helped me immensely, as I had to use my upper body, ie arms, chest muscles, to support my hips and legs that were weaker pre surgery and post surgery. I returned to training with Pete @ PHYS 6 weeks after my hip surgery. Pete re-adjusted my personal training, tailor made for me, post surgery. I was signed off by my medical physiotherapist, as he was confident that Pete @ PHYS could continue my physical recovery. I would thoroughly recommend Pete @ PHYS, because he is personable, professional, knowledgeable, but most of all he makes a fitness plan tailor made to each and every client, with care and professional attention. I would highly recommend Pete @ PHYS because his gym setting is unobtrusive, so you never feel self conscious. Pete is attentive, encouraging but also confident in his own ability to help individuals achieve personal physical training goals. Without gushing too much, I would not be the person I am now, physically or mentally without my weekly sessions with Pete @ PHYS.

Fantastic experience: I've tried everything in the past - fit farms, gym classes, all the diets - progress has always been sloooow and fads have been dropped as quickly as they've taken hold. This time it's different. I've been going to Pete twice a week for the last 8 months and so far I've lost 2 stone, I've started to seriously tone up and I've gained a totally different attitude towards my physical wellbeing and my relationship with food. Pete is a genius and what he doesn't know about diet, exercise and how to get you into shape, seriously isn't worth knowing. It's not even super hard work - it's just consistent, professionally programmed resistance training which simply gets results. Best decision I ever made.

Fantastic experience: Have been training with Pete for two years.. twice weekly.. have improved fitness and strength . I’m 73 years of age and find that Pete works out a programme which suits my age and flexibility.. The studio is a perfect size for one on one training and the location ideal... Fantastic experience: I have been doing duo training sessions recently with a friend being trained by Naomi at Phys. She works ya very hard and we can definitely feel the burn from her workouts! Naomi is extremely professional, knowledgable and passionate about fitness and wellbeing and adapts workouts to push us both! Phys studio has some great high quality equipment and is a fab space for training. I would highly recommend Naomi and Phys!
