Fantastic experience: At 76 years of age I felt myself becoming stiff an achey, and I couldn't summon the motivation to do something to change things. I guess getting an indication of heart issues was my wake-up call. Although generally a confident person, I was anxious about reaching out to Micka as I worried he would either overestimate or underestimate my capabilities. Turns out he couldn't be more kind and a good listener. On a 121 basis, we began quite gently so he could make his assessment. Over the weeks he has enabled me to challenge myself and even though I am taking things slowly, after 6 sessions I feel so much more flexible, strong and energised. He is such a happy and positive mentor, always full of praise and encouragement, and with great depth of knowledge on his subject. He and his wife Sarah are always supportive, efficient and positive; I only wish I'd started sooner.

Fantastic experience: I started training with Micka in Oct 2024 and have loved every minute. He and Sarah made me feel very welcome from the first moment and create a great sense of community which is visible in all of the other members too. Come rain or shine Micka is always there - pushing hard enough so you’re breaking a sweat and getting your heart rate going, but not acting like a military drill Sargent (although if that’s what you want - he’d do it!). Having trained outside over the winter and rarely missed a session, I’m even more excited going into spring and summer and hopefully seeing more people come out of hibernation to train with us! :)

Fantastic experience: My journey with Micka was nothing short of fun, laughter and some serious results! In three months I dropped 1 1/2 stone through sessions with Micka and guidance on food / diet with Sarah. Fantastic experience: I am so glad I pushed myself to join for a free trial, i enjoyed so much I become a member. Micka and Sarah are so friendly and made me feel so welcomed in to their community. My fitness level isn't the best as I have struggled alot with my core after having my daughter. I have been doing 1 class a week for about month now and I am really feeling good in myself. Micka is very helpful and supportive within the class and gives lots of positive vibes to get you through the class. I leave each class feeling great and can't wait for my next class. I would highly recommend joining for a free trial. Its got a friendly atmosphere and it doesn't make you feel like you have to be a gym bunny to be involved which is one of the reasons I joined. All I can say is keep up the good work Micka and Sarah :)

Fantastic experience: Having retired some time ago, I knew I needed to make sure I kept fit to keep healthy but also knew that joining a gym, again, was not the answer. I've been a member of various gyms over the years and always found the environment difficult and the classes impersonal. I was eventually persuaded to try out a morning class outside in the open air with Micka, and was converted to their philosophy of personal encouragement to everyone and making sure we all had a laugh while trying hard. Micka makes sure that everyone, regardless of age, ability or fitness is included and feels motivated. That was over 2 years ago, I'm 73 now, go to 2 outdoors morning classes a week, regardless of the weather, and feel fitter than I have for years. I would recommend trying out a free class to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Micka’s Bootcamp sessions are always friendly and lots of fun. The variety of workouts are great, it’s different every week so no getting bored of the same old thing! Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was looking to add some more cardio and resistance work into my exercise regime, to improve my fitness as I aged, but always found an excuse not to go to the gym. I heard about Micka’s classes and I did a 2-week trial just to give it a go. Now I work out several times a week doing three different types of class! As well as getting fitter and achieving my exercise goals, it’s been great for my mental wellbeing, too. I love being out in the fresh air and part of a friendly, encouraging, non-competitive community. And we always have a laugh I recommend the classes to anyone looking for a way to get going and to keep going with their exercise, no matter what your starting point or your goals. You’ll get fit and have fun!

Fantastic experience: Micka and Sarah are so motivating and friendly; Micka makes every session enjoyable and pushes everyone - making adjustments for all abilities! Sarah makes sure that the sessions can fit around everyone’s lifestyle and is extremely flexible and accommodating. They both really care about you as an individual and your personal needs. The group itself are all like-minded individuals who are not judgemental or intimidating. Everyone cheers each other on and you leave the sessions feeling uplifted and supported! Would recommend to people of all ages and abilities as there are a range of classes and different times of the day to suit everyone.

Fantastic experience: From the very first contact Sarah and Mika were so friendly and welcoming that I knew I had made the right decision. Every class I am encouraged and supported, given excellent instruction and come away from class feeling motivated. The background support on nutrition and healthy habits has also been amazing. As a person who does not like gyms Mika has been a revelation. I enjoy every class, thank you Mika and Sarah!
Fantastic experience: Micka has helped kick-start a new lifestyle for me. He's made exercise interesting and fun and mixes up every session so I don't get bored. I've seen results in just a few weeks, which has helped keep the motivation going.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing Mickas training for the last 7 months now and feel that I have improved my fitness alot since joining ,I would highly recommend and look forward to every session and I like that you can switch between different types of classes from box fit to bootcamp and more ,not to mention the amazing energy that micka brings, it really makes for a great atmosphere everyone is really friendly Thank you to sarah aswell who is very supportive in helping you with your fitness journey

Fantastic experience: The biggest challenge for me was actually making the decision to make contact with Mickas Training in the first instance. When I plucked up the courage and made that first contact, Sarah was so welcoming and assured me that I could do it. I explained that I hadn’t really done exercise for 12-18 months and have back and knee issues but she assured me that it was all still possible. I made it through that first session. Micka is so friendly and encouraging through the sessions. He both gives me alternatives for my back and knees but also makes me feel that I am capable of pushing myself more. Since joining in April, I have seen a difference both with my mental fitness, improvement with my physical fitness and changes to my body shape. Exercising outside is exhilarating and for me doing the early morning sessions, sets me up for the day and also means that I don’t have all day to talk myself out of going!! I was nervous trying the kettle bell and boxing classes but again, Sarah was great reassuring me and I went along and loved the sessions. The variety of the sessions really work for me, along with the available timetable. I love the fact the sessions cater for all abilities and you don’t feel under any pressure to keep up with others, it’s just about seeing your own improvement and Micka works hard to give us this self belief. Don’t follow me and take too long to reach out, give it a try. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: So pleased after debating for ages I finally sent a message asking for details. Sarah was so welcoming and assured me a totally unfit senior could do it! Everyone in the classes are very friendly and supportive. Micka is an excellent trainer, adjusting exercises to match ability and correcting technique to get the best from each class. I really like the flexibility of classes and that if you miss a session you can make it up another week. A big plus is that it’s not just exercise but the whole package of wellbeing that’s promoted. The members FB page has lots of info and support. If you’re thinking about it, don’t wait just to it, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: I can't believe it took me so long to reach out to Micka's training. I had been seeing them advertise on fb for months, and every time I said to myself, I must go try this. I finally reached out after hearing so many people rave about how amazing Micka's classes are, how friendly and welcoming everyone is, and how supported you are from Micka and Sarah in and outside of classes. From the first time I reached out, I felt at ease straight away with a phone call to discuss my goals, any concerns, injuries, and how they would support me. My first class was amazing and hooked me! Micka was so welcoming and adapted any exercises I couldn't do due to past injuries, making me feel very comfortable and trusting of him. The vibe of the class was perfect with extremely friendly members and a great balance of entertaining conversations, laughs, and a great workout! The class I attend makes me want to get up in the morning to go along, no fighting in my head that I should go, it's a clear I WANT and can't wait to go to class. Micka's training really is a supportive community, making them stand out from the crowd (they even kept checking I was OK when I had Covid!). If you are fighting yourself on if you should try it or not, just do it! You won't regret it. I regret I didn't reach out sooner!

Fantastic experience: I've been doing PT sessions with Micka since December. I have Multiple sclerosis and am often dependent on a wheelchair for more than the shortest of distances and wanted to build some strength and lose some weight. I needed someone to motivate and push me and get my head in the right place - to get over the fear that the MS has put in me over the years. I no longer have to worry that if I fall I won't be able to get up - it's not elegant yet but it's getting there, I have muscles now in places I remember having them before and Im proud that I've earned them. I invested in a sit up bench to help me improve my core and now do 100 in 1 day - I was so proud to demonstrate this to Micka on Tuesday. He's given me back my belief in myself, its going to take time but I'm getting there and it's thanks to a wonderful man who doesn't mind me occasionally calling him a bit evil I highly recommend him and his services to anyone who is looking to get themselves into a fitter state of body and mind

Fantastic experience: I joined Micka’s training over a year ago…I was nervous as I don’t enjoy exercise, and I’m not good at meeting new people. I’d spoken to Sarah via messenger and she made me feel at ease before my 1st session…and as soon as I arrived and met Micka, I was instantly hooked. Micka is the friendliest fitness trainer I have ever met..no matter your strengths or weaknesses, he will work hard to make sure you get the best from the session. During the lockdowns, it was hard to stay motivated, but working out online was great. Every session is fun, but there is no doubt Micka will encourage you to push yourself as hard as you can, always checking your form is correct to prevent injury. I love that we train outside in the fresh air, no matter the weather, and whilst I don’t have small children anymore, it’s great that the whole family are encouraged to come along! Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I have been training 2 x a week for 4 weeks now, my 1st visit was fun and Micka made the session's enjoyable, subsequently every session has been the same, those who attended are friendly and no one is compared to another. Micka ensures everyone who participates are comfortable within their individual abilities and always there for guidance, Sarah is always on hand to discuss any questions you have and full of great advice A thoroughly enjoyable experience, I would encourage anyone to give it a go, after all ... you never know unless you try

Fantastic experience: My husband and I joined Micka's Training after we wanted to try and get a bit fitter, we wanted to do something together that may help us motivate eachother. From the friendly efficient communication from Sarah, to Micka's fun and dynamic approach to the sessions we knew we had made the right decision to join after the free trial. The classes are great for us both despite our different abilities and with many classes to choose from we can always fit 2 classes a week in. Fantastic experience: Started with a week trial as I was looking for something different as I had fallen out of love with the gym and was struggling with at-home work outs. Thank god I found Micka's Training! Really enjoyable sessions, challenging but totally accessible even if you haven't exercised in a while. There is a lot of variety, loads of sessions which is great if you can't stick to the same ones weekly due to your schedule. Micka is a delight to train with and the group as a whole is welcoming and friendly :)

Fantastic experience: I was feeling at a loss with my fitness. I joined Micka's group. Great encouragement and motivation to get back on the right path. The group has lots of useful resources. I have especially found the monthly challenges helpful in keeping up my fitness outside of structured sessions.

Fantastic experience: I recently started running again after a break of a few years. I was concerned that I was not warming up or stretching post run properly and needed to get some personalised, professional advice that took account of some injuries that I am carrying. I contacted Micka and discussed the issue with him. We set up three bespoke training sessions which not only provided me with a pre and post run regime but addressed my running style and ways of reducing the chance of injury during the run. Throughout the time I spent with Micka I found him to be professional, enthusiastic, encouraging and really good fun to train with. I have no hesitation at all in recommending him!

Fantastic experience: I started following MT a few years ago but never got around to going. During lockdown I put on a bit of weight so had a look at the site and saw they were running a free two week trial of classes so signed up. It’s always a bit scary trying a new class but it was outside and the weather was good. The first time I turned up to a class the people were really friendly and Micka already knew my name! It was a good weights workout (I attended the boot camp) but I wanted something more cardio so he suggested HIIT classes. I went on a Tuesday and have never looked back - I now try to attend both HIIT classes a week and this along with watching my calorie intake has helped me lose at least a stone! The best thing about Micka’s Training is Micka himself - he is energetic, friendly and he makes the classes fun (even if they are hard!). The rest of the people in the classes are really friendly and help put you at ease. You never feel judged and everyone works at a pace which suits them. I’ve really enjoyed the classes; I leave feeling like I’ve been worked hard but I always have a smile on my face at the end of it!

Fantastic experience: Such a warm and welcoming group, no matter what your starting ability. Micka is encouraging, supportive and will adapt exercises to your needs and ability. After having my daughter 6 yrs ago, c section. I’ve need to strengthen my core, after my 1st session I actually felt like I had found it again. People say about engaging it but I never really felt it. Micka will take the time to make sure there are key videos to help with specific areas and show how to do the exercises effectively.

Fantastic experience: I was a bit nervous as my fitness levels were not good. But Micka and Sarah were so great and everyone in the group really friendly and lovely. The classes are always different and challenging which I love. I can also take my girls along (they can play on the field/park) to the Saturday bootcamp. I've been doing the bootcamp for over a year now and I've just completed the 6 week challenge which was fantastic. I highly recommend doing a trial, see for yourself!

Fantastic experience: I joined Micka’s training at the start of lockdown for online classes via Zoom and they’ve been a life saver! Loads of classes to choose from, lots of variety and everyone has been so welcoming. Micka has got bags of energy and enthusiasm and his wife Sarah has been so helpful behind the scenes...sending regular updates and keeping us all informed. Classes are now starting to run face to face again in small groups and although I’m unable to attend as I live a bit further afield, I can still join online. It’s definitely helped manage my weight but also unexpectedly helped to reduce lower back pain. This was a surprise as I thought the exercise might aggravate it but on the contrary, it’s really strengthened my back and core and I’m feeling much more flexible. I’d definitely recommend Micka’s training!

Fantastic experience: I joined Micka's 6 weeks Training challenge by chance. After a long period of travelling and working I needed a boost to come back on track and Micka’s 6 weeks challenge seemed the perfect choice. Nice environment and variety of classes is the winning combination of Mickas training. Also, the support received from Micka and Sarah is simply outstanding! They are always ready to give the right advise and push you to limits in order for you to achieve your goals ! All in all, the past few weeks have been tough but absolutely fantastic experience . I highly recommend it, worth every struggle :-) !!!!

Fantastic experience: I joined Micka’s Training from a recommendation. Micka and Sarah are very supportive. The class are great too. I do the Sunrise classes and the Saturday morning Boot Camp. Micka and Sarah help make these classes enjoyable and everyone is friendly.

Fantastic experience: I started Micka's training only 5 weeks ago ... they are the best 5 weeks of my life! He is an absolute inspiration, his humour and energy are infectious. I wish I went sooner - but it was one of those things that I have looked at for a very long time and kept putting it off. If you are reading this now, and are in the same place as I was 5 weeks ago (I know I should, I know I can't, I know I'll be judged) please please please take that step - you will NOT regret it! Fantastic experience: Great and fun way to get and keep fit and realise your potential in supportive group With the support of Micka and fellow members my running distance progressed from nothing to 10k in 9 months. And never smiled and laughed so much while exercising

Positive experience: Where do I start, I hadn’t made time for myself in a very long time. There was always someone else needs that came before mine. Over a year ago, I decided to return to exercising, and knew I would need a kick start. Micka helped me to do that, I haven’t won the war, but I’m winning battles. I feel so much fitter, when I’m ill, it doesn’t last as long as it use to do. People notice I’ve lost weight, and I can honestly say I’ve never had so much fun exercising and laughed so much. He challenges me, but listens if I say, can I do this another way. I’m progressing, at a speed I’m comfortable with. Thank you Micka
Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Micka enough and I wish I joined sooner!!! I was very nervous and unfit when I joined MT and can still remember the day how welcoming and friendly everyone was. Sessions always vary which makes it fun and that has been very important for me to stick to it for so long as I used to find the gym boring and ended up using same machine each time. Also MT offers various session times throughout the week which is great as there will always be a suitable time to do some activity

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Micka and Sarah for all the encouragement and support. I love coming to all the classes. This is the longest that I have continuously 2-3 weekly kept up exercise. This is purely based on the fun, always changing classes. Micka just knows your strengths and weakness and always works hard to get you too the next level. I’m not ever wishing the time away but looking forward to the next session and am disappointed if my shifts mean I have to miss a one. The people in the group are welcoming and despite everyone being at different levels it is not at all intimidating. This is my fitness family and I love being with them all. Thank you xx

Fantastic experience: I started with MT nearly 2 years ago, doing 1 session a week. Of course I was nervous, I just thought it’s an hour I don’t have to go back if I don’t like it, but everyone made me feel so welcome, it didn’t matter that I couldn’t do what they were doing everyone was so supportive. Gradually I’ve increased my sessions to 5 a week - I never thought I’d enjoy it that much but I really do. I’ve met great people & made some lovely friends. I can honestly say MT has changed my life. Micka is so passionate about what he does, he genuinely wants everyone to achieve their goals - his motivation & positivity is amazing!

Fantastic experience: I started with Micka’s Training in September, it has to be the best thing I have done in a while. I was sceptical and nervous about going on my own but I am so glad I did. Not only are the classes different each time but I made so many friends who support one another fully. Your not just joining a fitness programme your joining a family who welcome you in with open arms. I attend 5 to 6 time’s a week I love it so much. So go ahead make that move and book you 2 week trial I am pretty sure you will love it as much as I do.
