Fantastic experience: Massive thanks to the team at R&B Fitness. After just 10 weeks I am 1st 8lbs lighter but just as important fitter & stronger than ever. The motivation from everyone is amazing and with each session tailored to me, I enjoy every visit. Fantastic experience: I have started to have 1 to 1 sessions with Rob, I was unsure if i would be able to join as i have osteoarthritis in my knee and multiple joint pains, but Rob is always so kind and calm, ensuring I only do the exercises that help strengthen my joints, and makes sure I not over do any exercise or cause any extra pain. I am starting to feel like the future me will be stronger. I definitely recommend contacting Rob and his team if you have any joint problems or medical conditions that are stopping you or making moving around hard.
Fantastic experience: Rob is very passionate about what he does and also very inspiring. He is also friendly and chatty and I enjoy my sessions with him. I like the fact he pushes me to my limits and I definitely get my value for money when he trains me. With his level of expertise I trust him and push myself more then I would working out alone.Weight training is a game changer for me and I would I recommend it for the ladies who want to get toned and feel stronger!

Fantastic experience: I started at R & B fitness on the 6 week programme and cant wait to get onboard for longer. For ages I struggled with motivation to go to the gym and hated working out in busy gyms. Rob called me and from then on he has been so incredibly supportive. I am very overweight, and joining R&B has been not only helped with weight loss/ body image but it has helped me get my confidence back too. Rob will check in every week and give me advice, motivation and kick me back into shape if I need it. The couches/ PT trainers are really great and teach you the correct way to do things , for better results and less injury. Plus they are all so kind- and help set up equipment (which I never had the confidence to do in a big gym) The team itself are very supportive. For me it was the best decision, so I highly recommend them :)

Fantastic experience: I started my 6 month programme in March 2025. I had always worked out at home but I wanted to work with a personal trainer so I can look my best for my wedding later this year. On my first call with Rob he was really friendly and answered all the questions I had about the programme and understood what my goals were. I knew I was getting a great deal with R and B and went for it! I'm 2 months into my programme and am making great progress. All the PTs have been friendly, encouraging and have adapted my workouts to help me meet my goals. Recently my shoulder was feeling very tight and the range of motion had decreased slightly. Rob also does sports massage and was able to help me gain movement and range of motion in my right shoulder and neck again. If you are looking for helpful and encouraging PT sessions and you're willing to put in the work, R and B is the place for you. Rob will help you with your nutrition as well and he has a wealth of information depending on what your needs and goals are. Thank you, R and B fitness :)
Fantastic experience: I've been going to R and B for about 4 months and I can really see a difference, in muscle tone, body shape and overall fitness. The 4 to 1 ratio is perfect to ensure the trainer has enough time to guide, motivate and modify exercises if necessary. All of the trainers are great, it's a really friendly atmosphere and I can't recommend it enough.

Fantastic experience: 2 weeks in, 6kg down! I’m so grateful that I’ve found R&B fitness. Honestly, following postpartum, I’ve always found it a challenge to be consistent. This place is magical. Without forcing, without feeling drained, you feel like you WANT to go and WANT to be there - to achieve your goals (whatever that is - weight loss / muscle gain / strength etc). As someone who used to always go to the gym years ago, I’ve realised that sometimes this could actually be a complete waste of time. Only now, have I realised, how important it is to get the right form when weight training. Rob & his team are so so attentive to this and really help you to make sure you are doing every single rep correctly. They inspire you, educate you and make you feel your best. Thank you so much to the whole team for giving me this opportunity.
Fantastic experience: I would label myself as a keen mountain biker and an average runner, and I thought I was in relatively good shape before coming here on my wife’s recommendation (she is also a client). I actively avoided going to any gym as I felt self conscious of the usual gym stereotypes being present, so would only ever exercise by either running or cycling outdoors. But I was assured by my wife that that the small group PT classes were a maximum of 4 students to 1 PT and were personable and friendly. So I bit the bullet and gave it a go, and I am so glad I did! Initially we discussed what I wanted to achieve from the sessions, and a personal workout and nutrition plan is later then drawn up and put into place to support this (I think this will depend on what you sign up for, I signed up for the 6 week program). The workout plan instantly raised holes in my strength fitness. And although it is a challenge in the beginning learning the new techniques, the correct form and working muscles you may have never worked properly before, the progress you will make within a few weeks is crazy! Another plus point is that the workout plans tend to not be to repetitive from session to session. Varied techniques as well as the use of different equipment helps keep it fresh and your mind focused and motivated to keep going each session. I am in no doubt now about my ability to keep active into my 40s and beyond to a high level. Thankyou R & B Team!

Fantastic experience: Had my Rob do my first ever sports massage. Although it was painful (from all the muscle tension I had) Rob constantly communicated with me during the massage to make sure I was doing okay and afterwards I felt the benefits immediately! I've always had to really stretch to touch my toes but literally as soon as I got up from the massage table I was able to go down to my toes with no strain or pressure on my body! Would highly recommend Rob to anyone seeking quality and professional help!

Fantastic experience: I am 4 weeks in and my nutrition plan has worked a treat. I am eating more and burning more calories but more importantly, eating healthy and tasty food. The workout sessions are great. The small group sessions mean that you get more one-on-one time with the trainer and detailed instructions on techniques. This also means that you get the most out of each rep. I have been lifting weights for years but the subtle changes in technique has allowed me to see massive improvement in my physique. I really recommend R and B fitness.
Fantastic experience: Being a self conscious overweight female I was really scared of stepping back into the gym as I have let myself get to the heaviest I’ve ever been. I have been with other personal trainers 1-1 and the expense of that was too much and online training I never motivated myself to do it. With R and B you get such a personal experience within the small group of maximum 4 people, it is really encouraging to see so many different people on different journeys working towards their goal. Thoroughly supportive and caring environment.
Fantastic experience: It's been great reconnecting with Rob and training with him and Rayner. Sessions are always challenging and enjoyable, injury prevention, good form and technique is always the prime focus at the sessions. Rob has built up a great community and we have quite an active WhatsApp group chat.

Fantastic experience: Rob and Rayner are fab! Incredibly knowledgeable and offered demos to ensure exercises were done safely. R&B has a great atmosphere that is encouraging and a lot of fun - no waiting for machines or standing in a busy gym wondering what to do, feeling like a lemon. Fantastic experience: I have been with R&B Fitness for over a year now. I initially started on a 6 week program with the intention to leave but ended up staying on for another year. Rob and his team are absolutely fantastic. R&B Fitness focuses on your individual goal with a tailored plan. Rob is always on hand and has such a friendly nature as well as being highly motivating. When I first joined I was unfit, unable to keep up with my two younger boys, I also had little body confidence. Having had a c-section I felt I had no core strength or stamina. After speaking to Rob I had a personalised plan with nutritional advice. I have become so much fitter and healthier. I am going from strength to strength. Both Rob and Rayner are excellent in showing correct form and technique. I can honestly say joining R&B has had so many positive changes to my life. I can run without getting breathless. I am mentally more focused at work and my home life. I now love being active with my children and incorporating fitness in my family. I definitely recommend R&B as it has helped me to become more confident, fitter and stronger both physically and mentally.

Fantastic experience: I joined in August last year and am very happy with the results I'm seeing. I can't rate Rob highly enough. He is motivated, always friendly, always on hand to give advice including nutritional help. There's no waiting for machines to jump on. The gym is clean, tidy, accessible, plenty of parking. There's a variety of socials outside of the gym if you want to join in. I admit that I don't like gyms in general but my experience at R & B Fitness has really changed my opinion. Fantastic experience: By far one of the best decisions I've ever made. My plan was to do the 6 weeks and then to join another gym. It didn't quite work our that way. Because of this family like community I stayed and I'm now seeing the results. Rob and Rayner are also great nutritionists too and have help me to make healthier food choices.

Fantastic experience: I joined R and B last March through recommendation of a friend , I met with Rob and we talked about what I wanted to achieve and my level of fitness at that time was poor , I was very happy about the way he introduced the work out as it was at a level I was comfortable with , fast forward one year and 15kg lighter and eating healthy all introduced over that time with help from Rob’s advise , I would totally recommend R and B , it changed my life literally . I gravitated back to R&B as it offered more personal service; they tailor your training sessions to your requirements and they know what you need to gain results. Fantastic experience: Started here in January after looking for the right place to get my fitness journey back on track. From the very start, there was great communication, advice and support. I absolutely love the sessions and feel that I am getting fitter and stronger each time. The time spent to develop a bespoke nutrition plan was really helpful - taking into account all my likes/dislikes and working round my family life. The trainers are great at keeping you motivated but pushing you to achieve your best - would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for that bespoke package for a fraction of the price.
Fantastic experience: It hasn’t always been easy to motivate myself to exercise. The gym was a place that could feel daunting at times, and classes id be trying my best to keep up. Since joining the R&B family, I’ve started to love exercise again, and am prioritising my health and fitness more. Fantastic experience: I love it here! I've trained in the past 1:1 and can safely say that I get the same level of attention in these small group classes. Rob and the other trainers are super knowledgable, and after only a few sessions they already know me well - what works for me, what doesn't, how best to challenge me and help me progress. And the recipe book and nutrition help is super thorough too. I'm really excited to continue this journey with them!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to get in shape for my wedding so decided to find myself a PT, that’s when I found R&B Fitness through Bark back in October 2022. My first trial session was with Rob (the owner and founder) and I absolutely enjoyed it. I immediately joined the annual membership and haven’t left since. He’s created such a lovely community and working out as a group of 4 is so motivating. Consistency has always been my weakness but my fitness has been consistent for the last 10 months, thanks to R&B. Rayner is another PT at R&B, and if you have a session with her, you’ll defo hit new PB’s every single session. She’s amazing! I’ve lost 6kgs since joining and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. The small group sessions are genius as you still have the focus of a 1 on 1 session, but have the support of some great people along the way. 5lbs down already( I have been struggling to lose anything for a year!) and loving it.
