Bristol Dance Company is a purpose built dance studio based in Fishponds, Bristol. Lisa has been teaching dance for 25 years, and set up Bristol Dance Company in 2000. The fully licensed studio and bar is purpose built for dancing to ensure the perfect atmosphere!

Whether you are a beginner looking to take your first steps on the dancefloor, or if you are already dancing and you would like to improve your technique, Bristol Dance Company is here to help.

Bristol Dance Company has choreographed over 1000 first dance routines for couples wishing to add one more lasting memory to their wedding day. You bring the special song, and we'll put together a bespoke wedding dance for you.

Private lessons for couples or individuals at all levels are available for all styles of dance that we teach. Some people have private lessons to prepare for an upcoming event, others just want to have a regular lesson and enjoy the one-to-one tuition. Bristol Dance Company are also wheelchair dancing specialists - for both social and competitive dance. We can cater for couples whether one or both of you require a wheelchair. We can also offer private group classes.

We hold regular social evenings where you have a chance to put your hard work to use on the dance floor in a relaxed environment amongst dancers of all abilities.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Lisa since 2006 Learning to dance. It started as lessons for our Wedding dance and we haven't looked back since, i'm only 36 now So i started dancing in my 20's (just) so you are never too young or think its too old to have a go. Not only is it great exercise, it is a really great place place to meet new friends, whether you come alone for the company or you drag your partner along, with its fully licensed bar - you can have a drink while your partner dances. I love going and when you turn your two left feet into something that can move across the dance floor - it looks amazing. I even take my 13 year old daughter who loves it and brings her friends along to socials and dances too. If you ever wondered what it might be like to dance then i definitely suggest you give our Lisa a call and become part of the Fishponds Dance family. You will not regret it one bit - Keep Dancing lol.
