Fantastic experience: My son has been training here for over a couple of months and has been enjoying it thoroughly. The instructor is very highly skilled and has become a great inspiration for my son.

Fantastic experience: Excellent club and brilliant Sensei. Everyone has been very welcoming and inclusive. The training is fun and practical and you can train at your own pace and ability. Highly recommend this club if you’re looking to take up Aikido and join a friendly group.

Fantastic experience: I used to train with this club about 1992 - 1994, under Censai Bernard Harding who ran it at Pentwyn Leisure Centre (then the Dojo we built in Canton). I revisited the club in its current guise in March 2019 whilst visiting from New Zealand. It is awesome! Very heavily martial and practical, it shied away from the typical complaint of Aikido (i.e. its not really practical in the real world) and showed me a group of people who both trained and taught aggressively effectively. A real joy to see what Bernard's club had evolved into, both in style and spirit. The location may not be central to everyone's liking, but the building is great and warm. I'd happily recommend this club to anyone, both adults and kids alike. The people there were friendly and approachable, and scarily expert at what they did. If I'd have spent more time in Wales I'd have definitely gone back.

Fantastic experience: I've been training for over nine months and I've learnt so much in that time. Despite being a beginner, the Senseis have no problem with showing me advanced techniques. Great way to keep fit, improve self-confidence and they have a great social scene too.

Fantastic experience: Great club! I trained here for 5 years and was the only female for the majority of that time. The guys made me feel so welcome from day one and I can honestly say that the club members became a second family to me. They allowed me to learn and progress at my own pace and they respected any fears or concerns I experienced as I developed. Unfortunately I now live overseas, so I cannot train here anymore, but I miss the fun and sense of comradery that I had here.

Fantastic experience: Been to a few sessions and have had a great time! Even with all the punching and throwing, there's a really friendly atmosphere. High quality Aikido, high quality instruction. A definite recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent club with superb teachers. The members are doing a tremendous job of keeping up the good work of their former Sensai Bernard Harding. Well worth trying this club to learn the art of Aikido - this martial art helps discipline and self confidence for all - I can't recommend it enough :)
