Fantastic experience: Walters Family School of Taekwondo is a family run school that delivers a high level of instruction in this dynamic kicking art as well.as a friendly environment in which to train. The instructors have a wealth of knowledge and experience and make learning interesting and enjoyable. I highly recommend Walters family school of Taekwondo for anybody wanting to study Taekwondo to a high level.

Fantastic experience: Walters Family School of Taekwondo is a great place for the whole family to learn new skills and keep fit and healthy together. This club offers more than just Great teaching of Taekwondo as a sport but also focuses on the discipline, values and heritage, and this comes from head instructor/ coach Daniel. He is a fantastic coach and tailors is approach to meet the needs of all is pupils of all ages and abilities. The Club is what the community has needed , parents can send there children to a safe place to learn and keep active but also they can also participate and share this hobby. The club also offers Holiday camps which is great for parents supporting with childcare but you know your child is socialising and having lots of fun but also learning and developing their Taekwondo skills. Walters Family School of Taekwondo supports inclusiveness and diversity as everyone is welcome. This is evident in the wide range of classes that are offered. When you are apart of this club from the first class you attend, you really do feel apart of the family and that comes from the great management but also from Daniel head instructor who’s passion for the sport and the community shines through.

Fantastic experience: What an array of opportunities there are for the whole family at this School of Taekwondo! My daughter, who is not a regular member, flew out for a week of the Club's international taekwondo training camp over in Barbados in 2016 and had an amazing time. She was trained hard and learnt a hell of a lot; but additionally they also created an entire itinerary of activities for the participants over the course of a week, including a behind the scenes visit to the Olympic Commission of Barbados which added an incredible amount of additional value to the whole experience. I felt confident that my daughter, who was not accompanied by me, was safe and well cared for by the team and trainers, and I would send her again in a heartbeat. My nephew, who is quite shy, has attended the kid's holiday club and before too long was joining in and having fun - Daniel really has a way with kids! I also participated in a self defence class at the Club and took along my young, female cousin and my old mum too! We were all really welcomed and the quality of the training was not only second to none, but was also adapted to meet the needs of all three of us. I left feeling empowered and confident and I would definitely do the class again if it came up in the future. A highly recommended club.

Fantastic experience: My kids joined this TaeKwonDo (TKD) club around 2012, initially to learn some self-protection skills and gain confidence. They got so much more than that! The club encourages hard work, respect for others, and offers many opportunities to develop, whatever your abilities. So much so, that I soon joined the club too, participating in the adult classes. My son has gone on to compete at National level and has had opportunities to compete internationally, as well as progressing to junior instructor developing his own leadership skills with the younger ones and attending courses in refereeing. My daughter has competed in patterns competitions (poomsae) and both have gone on to attain their 2nd dan/poom black belts, as have I! When they were younger, both kids attended the holiday sports camps – a weight off my mind while I was working and trying to find childcare during the school holidays. The club has good relationships with other TKD clubs and so there are regular opportunities to compete at inter-club sessions; a great stepping-stone to competing at the next level. Outside of TKD there is also a regular circuits class on a Tuesday evening to boost fitness. Daniel also offers one-to-one personal training in the dedicated gym area and every so often the club hosts a Self-Protection Seminar. The club is made up of not just the students (of all ages and abilities!) but also their families and the Walters family themselves – it’s an incredibly welcome environment where hard work is rewarded, and development opportunities are offered.

Fantastic experience: My son has been learning Taekwondo for the past year, with Daniel. He loves it and is growing in confidence. My daughter has recently started too and is really enjoying it. Great fun and highly recommend

Fantastic experience: The Walter’s Family School of Tae Kwon Do definitely comes with an incredibly high recommendation from me. There are different classes that cater to a selection of ages and abilities. Daniel has managed to ensure that this martial art-form is taught in a way where the discipline and etiquette is combined from the outset.

Fantastic experience: I first attended the parent and toddler class when my son was 3 years old and felt a warm welcome from Daniel and his wife Shakira from the moment we stepped into the class. My son is now 5 and is a regular at the beginner's class and loves every moment of the lesson. Daniel has a great calm teaching manner and really gets the most out of the children. ( Some might say he has the patience of a saint!) and Shakira is always on hand for any questions or help behind the scenes. There is a real sense of community at the Walters Family School of Taekwondo and I couldn't recommend it enough. If you are ever thinking of joining a taekwondo club this should definitely be your first choice.

Fantastic experience: The Walters Taekwondo School community is an amazing family unit that truly care for their members. With the impeccable teaching and support available here, anybody could become adept in Taekwondo and truly develop a passion for the martial art. Daniel has an immense amount of knowledge to share on taekwondo, fitness and health (as well as other martial arts), which make for an accessible, engaging and elite environment to learn and progress in. Not to mention, Shakira and the rest of the community are experienced and more than willing to give advice and guidance to any and all.

Fantastic experience: I started doing Taekwondo around 2012—2013 when Daniel was teaching Taekwondo classes at London South Bank University. Daniel is a really well rounded and very accomplished martial artist and person, training with him has helped me to achieve a better version of myself. At the club you can learn different things from Taekwondo, self-defence or join the circuit sessions. Shakira is the club manager/CEO, she knows how to make everything work at the club and she really understands people. When you visit the club you will see and feel that you could not be in more capable hands!

Fantastic experience: Daniel, Shakira and the family are all very cool people. If there's anything you are unsure about just ask them, they are very approachable and friendly. If you want to join a community, lose weight, gain a skill, learn how to defend yourself and generally be amazing then this is the place for you. Daniel has a detailed understanding of the sport of Taekwondo which you can tell as soon as you spar him (rip).

Fantastic experience: I'm doing the Taekwondo adult and toddler classes, both are great fun. Adult class is very high quality tuition so you learn the techniques rather effortlessly while getting a great workout. It's also a nicely mixed and friendly group. My daughter loves the toddler class and our friends send their daughter to the older kids' class. Taekwondo is a great sport, I'd tried other martial arts before but this one convinces through speed and technique. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My 3 children and I are attending regularly the club (Almost everyday with all the sessions on offer!!) We only joined a few years ago but we truly feel part of the family. The whole team is wonderful, enthusiastic, friendly. Daniel as the main coach, Ocean as the kicksisters’ instructor (lady only class) and Shakira running the machine are amazing people. The sessions are fun, dynamic, and we are gaining a great standard of the sport. It is truly an honour to have met these people who are representing the true value of Taekwondo

Fantastic experience: My daughters have been attending Walters TKD since its inception and throughout all its forms. The club rewards hard work with excellent development. Both of my daughters have attained black belts (1 is even a 2nd Poom/Dan!) and my eldest daughter routinely competes (and medals) at national and international competitions. I cannot speak highly enough of Daniel, the primary coach, who has really developed my daughter into the athlete she is today. His energy is seemingly boundless and he works hard to make each session engaging and fun. He constantly encourages the pupils to work hard and is the first praise them for work-rate and technical proficiency. Outside of the core taekwondo offering, for both children and adults, the club also runs high intensity, competitive fitness classes on some evenings and Daniel, who is also a fully trained and licensed PT, runs PT sessions throughout the day. The club also puts on holiday camps throughout the year offering fun and educational childcare solutions during school holidays. The club's management are very approachable, accommodating and flexible.
