We focus on authentic, feel-good movements and exercises in a beautiful, contemporary rural space, located in Bartlow, Cambridge UK. Group fitness and yoga classes, private personal training and 1:1 yoga, sports massage, wellness workshops and events. Our philosophy is to ensure all who enter The Studio experience a mindful, enjoyable, positive yet challenging practice or workout. No matter your level of fitness or exercise experience, we are here to help you work towards healthier habits and lifestyle choices.
All classes and workouts at The Studio aim to build a strong connection between the body and the mind - whether that's through slow, mindful movement synchronised with the flow of the breath in our pilates and yoga classes, or focusing and steadying the mind to push beyond your perceived limits in our resistance and cardio workouts.
Our vibe is laid-back, open, friendly and positive. Our goal is empower our clients, encouraging a healthy and mindful community, welcoming beginners right through to the most experienced of fitness fanatics.

Fantastic experience: The Studio Bartlow generously donated a taster voucher for our local school's summer fete, showcasing their wonderful support for the community. Their contribution provided an exciting opportunity for attendees to experience their authentic, feel-good movements and exercises in a beautiful, contemporary rural setting. Fantastic experience: At the end of last year I was advised by my neuro physio that yoga alone wasn’t doing enough for me going forward, and that I needed to start using weights too. I am in my late 50s with a health condition which affects my mobility, so I knew I needed to look for a gym. Which was way out of my comfort zone. After looking around at the various options, I found The Studio. It’s such a lovely, peaceful environment. I jumped in at the deep end and did the Intro offer of £20 for as many classes as I wanted over two weeks, which is a great deal as you can try out as much as you want, as there is a lot to choose from. I went to Yoga with Sarah, Trigger Point Pilates and Strong with Jess, and was welcomed to every class. It’s not intimidating, even going to Strong, it’s always a lovely, supportive group, whoever is at the class that week. Whilst Strong would help take me in the right direction I also wanted something more focused to my personal needs. I spoke to Julia at the Thursday class about having weekly Personal Training with her. I could have gone to Jess, but felt that Julia would be a better fit for me. Julia is such an asset to The Studio, being (she won’t mind me saying) in her very (very) early 50s; she has a natural understanding of how being older affects your body, how you move, how you feel, and of the impact of the menopause and peri menopause on your physical and mental health. I thoroughly enjoyed the weekly PT sessions. Julia taught me the six main lifts and she worked out a fitness routine that worked for me and with my health. She set me exercises to do at home, via an app, working with the limited equipment I had, and she was always available to message between sessions if I had any questions. And Julia makes it fun, she is easy to get on with. She is encouraging without being pushy, and has given me so much confidence in my body and what I can achieve. I am so much stronger and fitter. There is something for everyone at The Studio, whatever your age, ability, physical condition. And if you are thinking about trying personal training, I heartily recommend Julia. I never thought I would ever join a gym, let alone have a Personal Trainer, but at 59 I can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve done for my health and wellbeing.
Fantastic experience: I recently attended classes at The Studio for yoga and pilates. The instructors Sarah and Jess were really helpful advising me to use the intro offer which is a great deal to try all the classes at a reduced price. The Studio itself is lovely and I felt really welcomed and relaxed. I've been on the membership plan for a few years and it's so worth it. Not just the health benefits, but the other People that take the classes are all lovely and make it a wonderful social environment aswell.
Fantastic experience: Great classes in a beautiful soothing rural environment. The atmosphere is friendly, and the yoga is perfectly pitched for my level (I'm in my late fifties and fairly new to yoga). Couldn't recommend highly enough, and I'm so glad a friend recommended the classes to me. Furthermore the rates are reasonable too. What's not to like?!
Fantastic experience: I contacted Jess for personal training support prior to my wedding and after a long time of paying an expensive and unused gym membership. From day 1 I felt so welcomed and haven't looked back! Not only have I reached my original fitness goals, I also purchased a membership and attend as many classes a week as I can. Everyone who attends is so welcoming and the instructors Jess, Julia, Sarah (yoga) and Georgia (dance) are just fantastic and so supportive. I really do feel like I've found the right kind of place for my workouts and I'm loving the physical, mental and social benefits I've gotten! I can't recommend it enough

Fantastic experience: I have been using The Studio for several months now for both yoga and other classes and I couldn’t rate it more highly. It’s a lovely setting and both Jess and Sarah are so friendly as are all the other people in the classes and most especially they are so good at teaching. I was a complete beginner at yoga but having done Sarah’s foundation course I now have a good understanding of the basics. I particularly like the Stretch and Tone class with Jess but there really is something for everyone and it’s extremely affordable. Don’t hesitate - come and give it a try.
