Fantastic experience: My daughter loves being part of White Tiger Kickboxing Academy. She likes the discipline the training offers her and the camaraderie between the students. Sam is fantastic and made sure we had all the information we could possibly need, all the kit and ensured my daughter received a very warm welcome from day one. The classes are very easy to book. The training studio is always clean and well organised and the prices are very reasonable. Well done Sam for running such a fantastic business, raising money for good causes and offering a close knitted community to all the students.

Fantastic experience: Great very well run club, structured classes and training schedule. I trained here for six years gaining my black belt, never stuck to any form of training for that long in my life, guess that says everything you need to know about the club. Always a good bunch of people to train with as well (no big egos).

Sam is an outstanding instructor - patient, organised, and genuinely invested in helping everyone improve and build confidence. The club has a great mix of abilities, from complete beginners to seasoned fighters, which makes training both welcoming and inspiring. Classes cover a variety of kickboxing styles, with the added bonus of weapons training and self-defence skills, which I’ve found incredibly valuable. Fantastic experience: As a 43 year old woman I’ve decided to challenge myself at kickboxing and try to get as high in the belts that my body will allow me too I attended a trail at white tiger and straight away i knew this was going to be the perfect club for me. A very friendly bunch of people of all different age groups (younger and older than me) small groups which makes it feel more personal. All your protective gear and uniform for a fantastic price. I really couldn’t recommend a better place.

Fantastic experience: My son (8) and I (32) met Sam at a family fun day during the school summer holidays. We both took an instant liking to her. On our first trial class, I was petrified and my son was super excited. I’d never done anything like this before. On arrival we received a very warm welcome. We left our first class sweating and smiling, we both thoroughly enjoyed it and I knew this was the right group for us. We are in a mixed group from ages 8 and up and all the students are very welcoming, happy to help and put you at ease if you are unsure of what to do. We look forward to each class. Sam is firm but fair, doesn’t talk down to you or belittle you. I have struggled with my mental health for a very long time, since starting with Sam I have noticed a huge difference in my moods, my temper and how I react to certain situations. I’m a lot calmer. The classes are also helping me on my weight loss journey. My son review “S’credible” which he says means .. best in the world. We highly recommend White Tiger Kickboxing Academy.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend White Tiger Kickboxing Academy My son has recently joined as a member following few trial sessions. Have not seen him so happy before attending any other clubs. Sam Wood is incredible, experienced and passionate about martial arts in general. My son has built up his confidence. His flexibility and physical conditioning has improved amazingly. Happy child, happy mum❤️

Fantastic experience: My daughter (5 years old) has been going to White Tigers Cubs since August 2023. We love the sense of community and how children from different levels are being encouraged to help each other and learn from each other. Sam has a great fun attitude with children, full of patience and passion to teach but also knows how to earn their respect.

Fantastic experience: I first started with White Tiger Kickboxing in 2012 - everyone was so friendly and classes just flew by. Even after life saw me move away for a few years, I couldn't find anywhere else that came close so when circumstances changed enabling me to come back I jumped at the chance to return! I thought I was just trying out a new hobby and a good way to increase fitness, turns out I also found a way of life and lifelong friendships. Couldn't recommend more :)

We have all trained with Sam for many years across the kids and adults classes. There is no other club or activity that’s been as big a part of our lives as White Tiger. The atmosphere there is so warm and everyone is super helpful and welcoming. Sam is incredibly patient and nurturing with wee ones, and with anxious adults like me! Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going for three years now and loves every session, I would highly recommend White Tiger Kickboxing, it’s not like a lot of other places where you get belts every month, here you have to earn your next belt, you have to be consistent in training and do a minimum lesson count for each grading, this is a great way for children/Adults to lean the importance of regular training and making sure they attend each and very session to gain experience and get to the next level. Sam is an Amazing teacher/trainer and I wouldn’t reccomend anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I've trained with Sam at White Tiger Kickboxing for many years. My kids have progressed from the very young Little Tigers classes up to adult. They've really benefited from this excellent academy building their kickboxing techniques, self confidence, discipline, fitness, strength, and self defence skills. Personally I'm still enjoying learning and gain new insight with every session from Sam who is highly accredited and knowledgeable. The club is full of friendly respectful people of all ages, and a lot of them have been with Sam for many years which shows their dedication and love for the club.

A warm welcome straight away and everyone inside are such a lovely bunch of people. You walk through those doors and your problems are left outside.
