Fantastic experience: Love this place! I am doing a Pilates teaching training at Balans Pilates and I am really happy with my choice. Everyone is incredibly generous with their knowledge and time and I have already learned so much. Pilates classes are fantastic and every instructor is dedicated, warm and welcoming, making sure that everyone leaves the studio feeling better (in so many ways).

Fantastic experience: Balans Pilates studio is a wonderful place for Pilates teachers and enthusiasts. The studio has well trained teachers and very welcoming space for exploring the Pilates Method. Joakim is an experienced master teacher and is enthusiastic and encouraging. I completed the comprehensive teacher training course there, during my training I was able to work and observe other experienced teacher’s classes. On the course, I learned how to teach the reformer, and the full rang of apparatus including the Chair, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Foot Corrector etc. Learning the whole Pilates Method is what sets Balans Pilates studio apart from many other Pilates training programmes. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Booked in for a 1:1 session with Luda to help me get to grips with some basic beginners Pilates moves, she really took the time to properly explain the exercises and to make sure my positioning and alignment was correct. It's amazing how the smallest adjustments by a qualified instructor can make such a big difference to how you feel the exercise working your muscles.

Fantastic experience: This is the best Pilates Studio that you could ever go to. The teachers are all top class and the appliance studios excellent. They really care about helping you to get to your best fitness. Even if you live more than an hour's drive away, it's worth the drive.There are Zoom Classes too.

Fantastic experience: Excellent, personalised experience taking matwork pilates and BarreConcept classes at Balans Pilates Studio. The instructors are really invested in making sure each person gets the exercises right for them. Each class was thoroughly enjoyable and such a good work out! The massage was great, Lee took the time to find out what areas I wanted the massage to hit and I came out of it feeling rejuvenated. All around a great place with such a friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: They do have a very well-equipped studio for apparatus Pilates! Their equipment is all from Balanced Body, a very good manufacture in the Pilates industry!

Fantastic experience: I have just completed a 6 week block of fitdankbaby and would highly recommend it for regaining strength and muscle tone after having a baby. It is great being able to exercise with your baby and the studio is a lovely environment with friendly, welcoming staff.

Positive experience: For years, I have had lower back pain and have developed a mild lateral scoliosis which gives me a slightly asymmetrical posture. Having retired at the age of 70, I have taken the advice of friends and physiotherapists and embarked on a course of pilates. The beginners class of six lessons at weekly intervals has been most rewarding. Whilst the scoliosis persists, I an pleased to report that the back pain has reduced considerably. The exercises became increasingly strenuous as the course progressed but by doing the "homework" twice weekly, the range of movement increased and the exercises became easier. There was an instant improvement in core muscle strength since all the exercises focus on this area. This in turn, helps with the posture (although I suspect I will always be asymmetrical). The class was taken by an experienced pilates instructor who made sure we stayed within our capabilities. I look forward to doing another series of classes at the studio in the near future.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful Pilates studio with a great atmosphere. Workshops with international Pilates instructors are held on a regular basis. The Pilates elder Lolita San Miguel who was taught by Joseph Pilates himself has visited twice enjoying this well equipped studio. It provides all the small equipment and Reformers, Chairs, Ped-o-Pull, Spine corrector, Cadillac and Ladder barrel. Plenty of parking, child friendly and full of surprises. In summer you may do a mat class outside on the lawn and in winter you may walk on snow!
