Stacy Weeks Pilates Movement Specialist: Opinions
Fantastic experience: Stacy is an excellent “Master” Pilates Instructor. She is highly trained, very knowledgable and has many years of experience, which in my book are essential credentials for all Pilates Instructors. Her reformer classes are fun, but challenging. She is constantly observing and encouraging you to make the crucial adjustments to your form so you get the most out of the move. She always demonstrates a new move and then clearly communicates each of the steps throughout the movement. I highly recommend giving Stacy’s Pilates classes a go.

Fantastic experience: Stacy is an excellent teacher and extremely knowledgeable and highly qualified and as a newby to Pilates I was introduced to both her mat and reformer sessions. What a great workout and fantastic way to improve your overall strength and conditioning. Stacy can focus on specific sports and tailor exercises and movements to help raise your game whether that is Golf, surfing, tennis, climbing, padel tennis to name a few. Rehab and injury management or general conditioning can all be covered. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I started Reformer Pilates with Stacy earlier this year after a pilates taster session on Harlyn Beach! I now attend her reformer classes in st merryn at her small studio which I highly recommend, Stacy is an excellent teacher with an amazing knowledge of the human body, how it moves and how to help it move correctly. The studio is lovely and well equipped. The classes have helped me so much, the foot and back pain I was experiencing have significantly reduced and my day to day movement is much easier. Stacy is very friendly & professional and it is a joy to take her classes I really look forward to them. When I started classes Stacy told me that one day her idea of fun and my idea of fun would align and that turned out to be true

Fantastic experience: I’ve just booked some sessions using the new booking system (Jan 2020), and must congratulate you on the smoothness of the process. We had not a single point of frustration! So now we are set up to continue our sessions with you and Emma. They have become essential over the last couple of years as we see the improvements in our strength, balance and power. Simple things like getting out of the car or a low chair are noticeably easier. We have more stamina and I am moving much better round an agility course with my dogs. We attend as a couple, a private duet session. Emma works with us individually to improve our various issues and injuries (we are both in our 60s), and now we cannot imagine life without Red Yew!
I'm so pleased the booking system is easier to manage, we've been working on trying to make it simpler for everyone. We love having you here too, always smiling......lovely to know we will see you skipping out the door regularly
Fantastic experience: My journey with Red Yew began in April 2017 when I had reached a point where I couldn’t stand the constant back and hip pain anymore and wanted to do something that would build and support my core strength and improve my flexibility. I knew straight away that Stacy was the one who could help me. Not only with building my core strength but learning to eat healthier too and that no matter what my body shape or weight; I could do this. There’s no judgement with Stacy. She’s taught me to love the body I have and the skin that I walk in. She’s helped me feel stronger and more confident in myself and has made me realise that my health and well-being is just as important as my families and that it’s ok to take time out to look after myself. I am so lucky to be able to take part in two of Stacy’s classes a week - Pilates and Barre Pilates. Both classes are small which enables each one of us to have 1:1 support, correction and encouragement. Stacy is a friendly, kind and thoughtful person and each class is positive, fun and......haaaard!! But it’s hard in a brilliant and satisfying way. You come away feeling like you’ve worked every muscle in your body and that you’ve had a huge workout but without the full on sweat and struggles. Don’t get me wrong, we do sweat and struggle; and Stacy works us to the max but she also encourages us to understand our bodies limitations and when we need to stop. I could go on and on about how awesome Stacy and her teaching is. Anyone that hasn’t tried Pilates with her really should! Not only am I stronger and more confident than I was but I’ve also toned and have lost inches everywhere - and I love my food and haven’t been dieting at the same time as doing the classes! Stacy; you are amazing and thank you for being the wonderful teacher and friend that you truly are!!

Fantastic experience: Stacy is welcoming and inclusive and has real people skills, as well as being a superb teacher of Pilates. She is literally hands on, ensuring that you're doing the movements correctly. She knows her stuff! My stiff spine certainly benefits from class.

Fantastic experience: Stacy is a very warm, friendly snd welcoming person. Her classes have a very comfortable feel to them .She is sensitive to individual needs and strengths. You never feel pressured (or embarrassed) into an exercise you don't feel comfortable with. I have benefited immensely from her classes. My arthritis is much easier to manage and my posture and flexibility have improved. Stacy' classes have certainly made a difference. Thank you Stacy
